WE'RE NOT DECORATING FOR CHRISTMAS

every single ornament that we've got my kids over the years is broken in some way oh my gosh good morning Merry Christmas you guys we are finally decking the halls it has been a while we've been waiting patiently for the kids to be home from school it's kind of loud here but we brought everything the living room we're getting set up we are gonna decorate the tree we're gonna decorate our house we got the giving manger set up this giving manger is going to hopefully inspire our kids to think more about others and each other and about themself this season we are gonna put Christmas music on we've got Christmas spirit blasting in the diffusers so it smells like Christmas in here and we are gonna have a great day I think we're gonna round off seasoning later it's a movie night and some hot chocolate and stuff too so the kids are gonna be really excited about that part but for now tons of things to get out of those bins tons of ornaments to go on the tree it feels like Christmas events finally finally a week away on this and it's starting to feel like Christmas what do you see in there yeah so I actually painted this one year I love it Merry Christmas perfect isn't it I painted actually a lot of these science I thought I've got this i merry and bright one I made got this one of fun let us adore him what y'all think yeah oh holy night I don't think I did that this song is outside we'd like to keep that by the front door hey did you have a good nap you want to put ornaments on the tree are you ready to put on the tree did daddy tell you look like a ghost let me see when the hood is on let me see okay guys just so cute guys I love that sweater so much [Music] here take this we've got Christmas cards we've got to go to the post office and see if there's some more tape we don't have any tape I need tape so that I can tape them to our walls the secret to Christmas decorating and Christmas magic is Christmas spirit oil it smells like heaven it orange cinnamon and black spruce oils in it and it smells like and so every time somebody moves they're artists isms which is for Christmas but we already the kids have been waiting patiently it is time to start decorating this tree look I made these ornaments for the girls when they were babies this is Elena's first Christmas this one was whose is this baby girl Marie Philip dataset 2015 that's Addie this is your December 17th this is your hat when you were a baby [Music] [Music] my HP here's Tyler's fingerprint ornaments she is another one that Jude made is all Vita he's been so organized all the ordinances and my mom is coming down and so I haven't put in everything away yet but I had in the room that she stays in and I was planning that day to like wait for me so she threw them all in a box and then the kids end up getting the box out and like they're all like pretty much every single ornament that we bought the kids over the years is broken in some way like he's missing arms trances they're all missing late yeah they just dropped it broke this one I've has a kid I love Christmas I want to decorate I want to have all things for like we literally have to not just undecorated but also like I'm like undecorated our entire house and pack all of our things that just seems like getting things that are packed away out in addition to all the other things that we have to pack away it just feels like oh my gosh what are we doing what are we doing this it's like backwards you know like it's already packed up so like yeah it just it like tree aura it's cool but I don't think I really wanna but I do want to I'm like battling it's an internal conflict because I really want to decorate but then I'm also like why am I gonna create that much more thrust when I just say yeah I don't know what I want to do I don't know why - so like we've Christmas is the 25th and then the six movie from Hawaii so like two weeks until like our walkthrough stuff and then like we'll be closing on our you know it's like I don't really have like a desire to do all this year I mean I think I do but it's the same thing it's like I'm just like I think we're so overwhelmed with everything else going on there's that like really time to like really like the house because then we also have to take the time to under three and if someone's like we could saves both of those times I think we just stick with the minimum this is a diffuser job bought me for Christmas and essential oil diffuser that looks like a mug of steaming I mean are the best Christmas gift I've ever gotten this cute Hey Elena's cute Christmas song see the little things it's a toilet paper roll holder and every time you pull it it makes place Christmas music you guys one of our friends from Facebook YouTube sent us these last year I think there's one more in the box of the ornaments these pretty little crystal angel' ornament so I think ute and then she also sent a jade little hand carved Jade angel so sweet super thoughtful yeah we love getting it like cards yes anything from you guys it means so much to us so if you've ever taken the time to send that just know how much we appreciate it it's really sweet and the kids like love I think sometimes they don't really understand they know people watch their videos and they know like their friends do but I think sometimes it helps put it in perspective too like this like okay so this is a certified gluten-free hot chocolate mix and they're linked in our Amazon shop which I will link to that if you guys are interested in chopping some of our favorite things you can they not really perfectly for this look at this today I got his bigger ones next year I wanted the smaller ones I thought these were small ones with a handle they came and they were big islands dang like these are really cute this year they were back-to-back a little they're a lot smaller that I thought I put like like separate so these would be like me and Tyler and Elena who are a little bit bigger Mary I will never leave okay so then these are our favorite they are vegan gluten-free die free all the things marshmallows I get on Amazon [Music] and so we're letting them watch How the Grinch Stole Christmas that's just a classic you know lick your lips lick your mouth lick it like lick right here lick it like this but like you take care of mouth over here this chocolate right here forget it you guys opted for the not really decorating this year we are gonna pack up the things I'm just gonna reorganize it that way we can like rid of things we don't want to take with us to the new house keep the things we do and pack it away just have less to pack less stress right now seriously we're already like so overwhelmed oh the truth is we were so poor whelmed right now we have so many things going on in the next like I'm gonna so less is more spend more intentional time with our kids less time worrying about the stress of you know decorating and undecorated and packing but the kids are all getting tucked into bed right now I just finished tidying up the gym like to go to bed with it clean so we can kind of start fresh in the morning however what's been a good day we've decorated the tree had hot chocolate watched a couple Christmas movies we talked about the giving manger which it needs a few more pieces the girls actually did a few things for each other they're very excited about the hey that I forgot to grab them there hey so we gotta do that tomorrow morning yeah set it up so we've got still like cookie making to do some more Christmas movies we've got a bunch of Christmas crafts my mom mailed the girls so cute from the dollar store and each one so this is um an elf ornament and there is a dog ornament and this cute tree one of it in each pack that's five ornaments in it so like each of the girls good staring fun it's really cool and they were a dollar each heyo head to the dollar store I'm so that's cool my mom actually also stuck it in the mail like I think she said some sticker books and other things she's like sending them a few packages and she can't come down this year but Christmas kinda bittersweet anyway I'm gonna go settle down get ready for bed I have to order a balloons birthday presents families on figure out what to get her and then we got to order Christmas presents so that I am NOT likes like scrambling to do it last minute some would argue that this is last-minute yeah it kinda is so I'm gonna work on that tonight that way it's off my plate love you guys we'll see you soon hey thanks so much for watching if you want to make sure you don't miss any of our videos click follow follow again and then tap see first to make sure you stay up to date on what's going on with our family remember
