WE DIDN'T CLOSE! - HOUSE UPDATE

journey is gone I know y'all are going to ask we're supposed to close on our house this weekend it didn't happen we're trying to figure out what to do with this house because we had already signed our papers our suite to move out what's up guys my first daddy-daughter dance cuz that would be embarrassing did you know your farts out good you guys I'm dying do you see this she almost impaled herself I almost impale myself I want to show you how come with me oh here I was taking a beautiful care of my month's Tara plant trying to put a little stick into little leaves around it some of the leaves are growing out some children rip leaves off of it and I wanted to pick it up and move it and I kind of came slamming down at chambers oh it hurt really bad I'm glad it wasn't sharp or I would definitely have a pierce what do you call that something today is a hectic kind of day we have not pick up the camera for two days the reason being where are you we were supposed to close down our house this weekend it didn't happen well having something's going on with the stairs basically they were gonna make everything right I thought they were gonna replace the stairs they said we could come pick out what color we actually wanted them to be always gonna be good it did not replace them they decided to sand them instead which from the beginning we kind of felt like that probably wasn't gonna work the goal was to get them back to like looking like natural steps again and starting basically all over but that scene was really dark and my understanding of wood and wood grains is that they're gonna hold on to that deep stain like deep in the grains right so they spent like the last three days sanding then yeah literally I felt so bad for the guy in there like is one guy I mean he had people helping him but this guy was there for three days straight from like 9:00 and like I don't even know probably nine like all day sanding everything yeah it so anyway so that's all happening we're trying to figure out what to do with this house cuz we had already signed our papers or Swiss to move out open door has been so awesome like super super flexible I'll tell you guys more about that experience later but if my dad came down to help us move origionally help us move / go to a daddy-daughter dance with John and the older two girls John went with Jude on Friday night so Saturday it's monadic e-mount Saturday morning so we kind of spent that time with him do you guys know I haven't seen my dad for over a year like I was so worried because we weren't moving this weekend that he wasn't gonna be able to make it just for that dance and I was like I was pretty upset about it yeah anyway he did come down anyway just to go to the stand so like that was like the most special thing ever they had fun John has a little clip from a show you guys that now so they did that that took up most of the day Saturday and then we went to check the stairs back out they don't look great we're trying to sort all that out now we're supposed to close tomorrow right yeah I don't really know what's going on at this point still but we know we are going to be closing and moving soon so we were trying to just pack everything else we didn't get the pack last week because John was sick yes and I with all the kids and then the back-and-forth with the Builder with open door with everything so here we are that's what we're doing today come with us pack with us enjoy life it's a circus let me tell you I've already almost died told you that the girls just dumped coffee out upstairs coffee grounds Marin's climbing up the steps it's basically I don't know have you ever tried to pack your entire house with six kids at home by yourself chase was getting loved one by a kid with yogurt all over their hands I guess but he lets go we'll clean you up or a shower with them I don't think you would like that journey it is gone I know you're all are gonna ask we did not get rid of him he is back with his trainer for continued education for a little while while we're moving because we while we're working with him he still needs to be worked with like every day like a lot to tire his little puppy brain to keep teaching him the things that he's learning and right now everything is so chaotic but he loves it there you guys this is not like a kennel he's not staying in a cage all day being let out every once in a while like he's living in this guy's house is one of his pets like he's being loved on he's being taken care of he's getting more attention in time than we could give to him during this move once we are moved in we will bring him home so that's what he has dealt like I need coffee grounds I found upstairs I smell coffee I was like at replaying the coffee because I thought maybe like your hands just on the counters Danny will realize it something about getting the second time and I was like actually supposed to so much like coffee and I'll show you what we're looking for yogurt hands people looking for your hands and coffee grounds hey thank you guys for cleaning up that is so responsible and helpful please yes so it was all right there Wow as you can see it's on the ground perfect perfect perfect this may or may not be a good idea that sucks is like super heavy-duty help we could have doubled Gary not YouTube boxes for all this stuff do you guys want to be something crazy that boxes filled with books hold on there's also all these books and those books still they say readers are leaders so that's all I'm saying teach your kids to read teach them to love books and they will do well in life I think I don't know come back and check with us in like 15 years see where kids are but they really do loved everything they love with their books I'm trying to sort through them my plan is to sort through the books figure out which ones we should keep and which ones we should let go of and I kind of it's hard because we've kids of all different age ranges you know we still have babies for baby books and like chapter books with older kids and in between but my thought is maybe I should let go of a lot of the books and we should just take them on weekly trips to the library to check out any books since for the most part they read a book once or twice and they're done right although some of the books we have we've obviously invested a lot into focus for our children some of them I would like to keep some of our husband books like these ones that are good for learning you know how things grow I'll just be like with the flap because I'm super cool they're like really cool you know so like those I think I definitely want to keep but I'm thinking like some of the chapter books although our girls here at you guys are these Dogman books they look like novels and they are just feel like they talk about party and stuff they're just like not great but the girls they're not bad they're not scary the girl is just kind of weird you know that like little kid humor kids love it I'm cool with it they're reading instead of doing whatever worse things they can be doing at their age so not too bad this is probably the worst room right here our bedroom because it's a combo of all the laundry we haven't had time to do and all the other thing is with so we are in the process of getting rid of a few big items our good friend Becca's been helping organize that for us so thank you Becca this is the bunk bed those in the girls room don't forget up shortly so have it out here ready for them when they get here today you have some other things that are going as well so we'll be doing that Gotha day today I was packing I'm trying to help get some of this stuff out of our house oh yeah garage so needs a little work yeah but a lot of its giveaway stuff we got to go ahead and get out of here also I'll divide stuff down here these mattresses are going to the dump that kid right there it's going what the mattress is just kidding this is our oak table that I got for Danielle so it's not actually that much stuff in here kind of all organized already we just gotta fit to it and get rid of I'm a bunch of stuff so today for lunch we're keeping it simple we gave the kids a perfect bar they love those through the paper so I also made a salad we got raspberries mixed greens with some pecan crumble and I've been correct dressing what do you think has looks coming okay this whole box right here one box this is going to fit all school they're doing a book drive right now for kids you don't books and I was like you know we can get some other books I told you guys about the situation if you are trying to declutter minimize it like let things go donate I've tried the yard sale thing and like sometimes it's like hard let things go knowing how much you paid for it but I feel like when you donate to whether it's a charity the goodwill the Salvation Army you know like a pregnancy center anywhere like that it's a lot easier to know that like you're doing good in the world and giving back it's like an easy so for me that has helped so much knowing okay our kids have a ton of books even though there are books in here that I may have bought them recently where I'm like I bought this book and it was seven dollars and you know I like okay it's the kids of Reddit we're not ready and it's gonna bless another kid now so it's easy to pack them up and let them go and just hang on to their favorites what are you doing tonight we did veggie burgers and peas I push gives away applesauce oh thank you she's dumping a perfect child thank you for dumping yuppies everywhere it's a child are you done all done hey all done all right hey I consider that and all done that's how we have our kids set up on a little lifetime foldable plastic table because we got rid of our other table and sold it well we sold it that we have a new one and so yeah that's kind of how you've been doing it because I've closed we gotta push back we already we should be in the new house right now but we're not still waiting on the steps stuff I'm gonna see how those look tomorrow tomorrow so we'll let you guys know how that all turned out just to
