AMAZING Display of FILIPINO TRUST! Honesty Store in Bohol (feels like Batanes)

come on guys starting off in the gym ignore the short shorts these look so short these are my swimming shorts but who wears short shorts in the gym they look so short but using the hotel gym today and then we're going to get some food and we'll say a proper hello to you but welcome to the vlog [Music] to show you guys the gym in here quickly fairly limited but it's still great to have a gym so we've got a few different weights here got a couple of benches uh two treadmills and an elliptical is it called an elliptical and some yoga mats good enough to get your body moving get a little sweat on get ready for some food but i want to be outside in the daylight and the sunshine the workout's not over we're gonna have a swim yes so something quite creepy that we just saw in the gym the gym no one's been there since september there's a little thing where you can sign in it shows just how few tourists are here right now and how few people are in the hotel which is kind of mad um so we were the first people since september according to the book okay how's this rained but it's now looking super nice look at the water the reflection yeah it's got wow it's got a lot more clear actually but this was loads of rain a minute ago so rainy very rainy so now it's completely turned around we're gonna have a swim continue our exercises we've ordered lunch are you scared yes oh it does drop off it does drop off here can i stand up nope it's so deep wow it's really freaky is it yeah wow so the pool here i can stand in you can see i'm stood feet flat then here behind these mangoes where i am oh they feel like mangoes as well there is 12 feet deep which is so cool i mean what's that for like free diving or something that's awesome [Music] i've got the button okay so lunch has been served gone for a baccalaureate chicken in a salad again today it was really good when we had it the other day we've also got some chicken satay which we're really enjoying here super yummy chicken and then san pellegrino we're getting through these aren't we we're having a lot of this but it's probably off one of our favorite drinks i'd say aside from coffee sparkling water is very good so something we've noticed at this hotel um is something very cool and we've walked past it a few times we're going to show you guys in a second i don't think we've vlogged that yet it's basically it's reminding us of botanist a lot so you remember when when we went to britannia's may 2019 which is where we hit 200 000 subscribers amazing trip we had such a good time there and a very well known thing to do in botanas is visit the honesty store and the honesty cafe so it's basically like a shop with no staff or a cafe with no staff you help yourself and you're trusted to pay in a box and you write down what you've had and you write your own little receipt out um that's kind of the concept of an honesty story it's a really really nice concept and it shows trust in the customers and it's just a really nice sort of message i think and there's actually one of them in the hotel here so we're gonna go and check out in a minute and show you guys behold's very own honesty store we might buy a couple of things see if we fancy anything and also i believe it's for a cause as well i think it's like a charity thing but i don't actually know i didn't really read it properly yesterday so we'll go and explore together properly but lunch was delicious feeling very full now uh feeling like i need a nap i feel really we're getting up super early here um because we're sleeping with our curtains open and then when the sun rises it rises over here so it's on it kind of comes into our room and it's so so nice waking up naturally with the sun but it is early so feeling a bit sleepy you wake me up you you literally didn't like wait like you imagine waking up your boyfriend or girlfriend you'd be like wake up honey george literally went loose look at the sunset sunrise sunrise sorry i always get it wrong look at the sunrise loose not like even like touching me to wake me up you just speak at me like stand over me and go loose look at the sunrise i'm like what then she like this for the sun like what so thanks for that and then you actually slept through the really good sunrise which was about half six when the sun was actually out you were just showing me nothing you were showing me the fact that it was no longer pitch black so honestly why are we honestly why are we completely obliterate honestly camera wait there you go honestly i'm i was just gonna make some stupid joke about an honestly still but threw me off sorry threw me off [Laughter] is that we have to stop yeah that's it so we're back here with all the fishies wow where are they all coming from oh it's attached i was thinking why are they all coming out of here uh bye stay again i was wondering where all the fish were coming out of george but there's a it goes under it's attached look there they are [Music] so the honesty store area is divided into a few different sections there's one here yeah let's put the bags down a second we can show you guys i've got an open bottle of sand pellegrino in this bag so i need to not oh thanks a lot i said my phone and wallet's in there and then you're just careless with it an open bottle of water wow thanks if it spills it's your fault it's on you okay so this is there's basically different payment systems for different ones and so here it even says don't put the money in any of the other shelves this is for mum's handicrafts honest pay and then you've got the little pot in here to pay and then what's this for oh so you put the money inside the envelope and then you can pop it in here i think but look you've got loads of different things you've got these knitted bags these earrings i think it's all locally made you can see yeah look a livelihood project of wwfm and then some really nice necklaces uh milk soap goat's milk soap cool oh wow look crocheted face masks oh yeah some coasters underneath here they're cool we're going back to england soon i'd love to buy loads of local stuff and take it back for our family wouldn't you that'd be awesome so this is the proceeds for this going towards steps for free education for the less fortunate and organic gardening and animal husbandry some pearl necklaces some wow what's this like a bracelet very cool some more earrings uh some more knitted things and then over here look they've got um oh yeah minions and hello kitty oh yeah and peppa pig maybe it could be peppa pig and then more bracelets more necklaces i really like this necklace how cool is this really nice necklace like gold and blue and these cool things that everyone's got as well yeah that reminds me of nelly yeah nelly has a few of these please put this tag along with the amount of pesos written above the brown paper envelope and in the box provided thank you for your help towards the level of livelihood programme of bellevue family mission so you put in the little tag that the items on so they know what you've what you've bought but i guess inventory and just keeping an eye on it so very cool that's in cebu right yeah wow look at these awesome these bags like wicker bags oh my mom wouldn't my mum love this yeah she was the wind chime made of sea shells oh that's so my mum's kind of thing oh look tarzia fridge magnets oh yeah [Music] i'll give it a proper gold [Laughter] [Music] let me squeeze through oh what's this that is a bdo atm machine this is a lovely atm right here you can buy this at the store and we've got more necklaces and bracelets and stuff there's basically a few of these dotting around the hotel actually this is the same one as the mom's handicraft thingy but let's quickly show you the other one i love gift shops if you know me you know this is my favorite part of a hotel a gift shop it sounds sweet i'm not joking i love them and price wise so this is 700 pesos which is about like a home handmade bag made of seashell i think that's really good and then there's some other style of bags what's this made from i've got no idea very nice lots of different bags made from that as well okay i've chosen my necklaces that i'm gonna buy this one for 500 and then also the pearl one for 500 but it's got like a metal clasp this is really nice yeah i really like both of them i think this is more everyday and this is more beachy nice so i'm going to put a thousand pesos in an envelope with a little take this off so you've got the little bits of paper here then pop it in here [Music] i walking away with that now i know we've paid it feels weird but it just feels strange like we haven't yeah had an interaction with anything yeah but i love i love the whole concept and it's nice that and stuff like that it is still kind of strict here you do need approved itineraries with approved tour guides and things like that it's not as easy as it used to be just renting a scooter and going
