A SPECIAL BIRTHDAY SURPRISE!

I'm going to show you guys this right now because I know you're dying to see it. Are you ready? 3, 2, 1. Is that your birthday dance? Yes. Happy birthday! Okay guys, we're taking Ev down. She's going to get to see her birthday present. I want Mary to sit with me. Oh, you want Mary to sit with you? Happy birthday, Diego. This, my friends, is going to be a tiny little farmhouse sink. Oh my gosh. Isn't it cute? Just like when I was in the kitchen. Look at it, you guys. It's a little apron sink. That's cute. Tomorrow's Ev's birthday and I have had this hearth and hand kitchen set since Christmas. Not this year or that past, but the year before. I bought it. It was on clearance and we didn't end up giving it to the girls. And then I was going to give it for Christmas this year, but then I was like, let's just wait until we move into the house. Maybe for Easter. I don't know. I'm thinking of all things. Ev's birthday, which is perfect because we did not go shopping for any presents otherwise. So we've got this kitchen set and a few little accessories and things to go with it. I cannot wait to show you guys once it's all done, but there are literally like, there's a lot of pieces. So it's going to take me a minute, but we're going to build this, put it together. We're going to set it all up. We're going to surprise Ev in the morning for her birthday. She's going to be three. Can you believe that? Have you guys been here since the Moana parody, since my home birth video, since that was three years ago. Wow. Anyway, I gotta get to work or I'll be up till 2am. It's coming along. I made one tiny mistake. I used a screw that was too long in a part that it did not belong in, but it's fine. I am now double checking everything and we are going to town. Getting a little tired, but it's no problem though. It's going to be epic. Hopefully. Hopefully I finish it by tomorrow. Well folks, she did it again. Well, it didn't say there was a specific way. Wait, what do you have to take apart now? Listen, these are supposed to be at the top, but in my defense, the picture, you only see, you don't see the groove side, but why would they, why would they do that? You see, they don't show you the groove side. They just show you the back. So I was like, oh, I guess it doesn't matter. So I put them on wrong, which means I have to take off 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 screws and then unscrew both of these, flip them around, screw back in, screw this back on. But tomorrow I got it probably on this. It's actually not that way. Maybe you should let me do it. Don't scratch up your countertops. I guess I'll just buff them out a bunch of times. I mean, it pretty much just looks like our kitchen. Isn't it cute? The kitchen set is complete. Now we are on to the little market. I hope Evelyn likes this. I think she will. I wish I had more like play foods to put in it. I should have thought ahead. Her birthday came up most quickly and I knew I had this stuff. She will, so like these are already going to be set up. So I still want stuff for her to like open, you know, but she will have the, um, like pot and pan set to open. And also this is new. So if you want it, they still sell it at Target because it's current. Um, this cute little lemonade set. Adorable. So she'll be able to open those. Hopefully she will love the kitchen and won't think about like not having a lot of things to actually open. I'm going to show you guys this right now because I know you're dying to see it. Are you ready? In 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Bam, look how cute it is. Oh my goodness. I'm obsessed. Like a little refrigerator, little freezer in the bottom. Look at this. Oh, the oven. Oh, the little knobs and they turn. Obsessed with it. John said it looks just like our kitchen. It's a little bit cleaner than our kitchen, but it's pretty similar. Although I wish we had black room windows. One day. I think she's going to love it. Right? She's going to love it. She's going to be obsessed. I can't wait to see her reaction. But I can't wait until tomorrow. She's going to be so excited. I think. Now I got one more thing to put together. I will show you guys that once it's done. I am finished. Oh my goodness. I put part of it together wrong. Sorry about the instructions. Don't tell you which side. And so they look the same. So you don't think they matter. It does matter. Um, but it's done. It's done. I'm so excited. She's going to come down tomorrow. We wrapped up a couple of things and stuck it inside. I will show you. They're all going to love it, which is just a bonus because they will all play together. Hopefully nicely together. Here you go. Here is the kitchen. And here is the market. You guys. How cute is this? So this is like a bunch of, um, like plastic play food that came with it. I just wrapped it up for it to open. And then this is my favorite part. Little lattes you pour. It's got latte art. Pour the lattes into the cup. So cute. It's got the iPad that they ring you up on and then you swipe your card at the top. Adorable. So sweet. So she's got that. And then in here is where I put the pots and pans wrapped up and the lemonade set. And I'm so excited. She's going to love it. When she comes downstairs tomorrow, this is what she'll see. And we will sing happy birthday. So good. Cannot wait. Ah! We actually have a balloon in the car too. A big dog balloon. I'm going to go grab that. Um, that way that's out here too. So it's a little bit more festive. And then I'm going to go to bed because it's one o'clock in the morning. I wasn't too far off when I said it'd probably be two before I was done. Okay, there. Now we are all ready for birthday girl. This balloon is so cute. It's been in the car for a couple of days. Because I knew I would not get to the store again. But there it is. Now I am off to bed. I just can't wait until I'm older because that just means they're going to have, they're We're doing birthday pancakes this morning, everybody. It's kind of our regular birthday tradition.
