BGC Has Never Looked THIS BEAUTIFUL

Hey guys, welcome back to a brand new video. Hope you're all having a great day wherever you're watching from. Little bit of a fun start to the vlog today. I thought I would do a bit of a bikini try-on haul. I mean, things are starting to slowly look more positive in terms of opening up. Hopefully we'll be able to take some trips soon to the beach, take some time out of the city, and it's the perfect opportunity to get some new swimwear. Today's bikinis are all from a company called Cupshe, and they are the sponsor of today's video. Cupshe are a website that have a ton of different bikinis, swimsuits, one piece, two piece, mix and match, matching sets, and there's some really, really beautiful pieces. So excited to show you guys today. So I'm basically, I think I've got six or seven bikinis. I'm gonna get changed now, try them all on, and I'd love to hear you guys in the comments what you think. Maybe let me know your favorite one or your top two, top three or something. I'm super excited to get out and about wearing these very soon. And fingers crossed the swimming pool in our new condo opens soon as well, because then we can even be wearing them in Manila. So this is number one. It's the purple lace-up high-waisted bikini. It's very, very cute, isn't it? It's this lovely lilac-y color. There's some really nice detailing in the back. Bikini bottoms are high-waisted. I really like the fit of this. There's a little tie here with metal little ends on the bow, and it's super comfy. I feel like this is actually gonna be one of my new favorites. I just think the color is so, so nice. This is the navy and white one-shoulder one-piece swimsuit, and I love this. I think it's very sporty. I love that it's got a cutout here. Kind of shows your stomach, and then like a smaller top half here. It's got the two different colors, but it's mainly black this side, and then you've got much more of a gap here. This is a really nice fitting. It feels very sporty, like I said. This one is very comfortable as well, and I've never had one that has this kind of cutout on the side. I think it's very unusual. I actually chose a lot of one-pieces instead of bikinis this time. I feel like I was before a lot more of a bikini kind of girl, but I feel like I'm sweet. I'm going towards the one-piece. I don't know what it is. I think they're very classy. This is a beautiful emerald green-colored one-piece. It's got a little belt that ties around your front with these little brown buckles. It's very, very nicely fitting. You can see the back here, it's got this nice supportive strap. And again, super comfy. Felt like you could swim a lot in this one without having to worry about any slippage. Hello, George. This one is very nice. I love the pattern. There's three different layers. It's a bit unusual. I feel the quality. Isn't it so soft? Yeah. So soft. The back, what's going on with the back? The back's got a little- It's like hatching here. Cross over, hatching. Okay. I should have been in here this whole time and rated them out of 10. I like this a lot. Sensible, right? Yeah. You can swim, you can jump in. You're not going to have to worry about things. Yeah. But it's still fashionable and still, I don't know, I like it a lot. So rate it out of 10. I like that green. Have you tried that green one? No, yeah. I like that. Rate it out of 10. Coming up next, the green one. George, rate it out of 10. Oh, out of 10. I'll give that a solid 8.5. Now we're talking. Do you like this one? This is like- Mermaid one, isn't it? Day at the beach. That's really nice. I really like the fit. Close up, it's like almost shiny. Like satiny. Satiny. That's classy. Close up, it's got that little ruched thing here and I like it. It's almost like, it's a halter neck. It's a little bit different and then just like fairly normal pants on it. I like that a lot. Yeah, see, look. Classy. Not too showy. Not revealing too much, but still sexy. Coming up next, my swimwear haul. No. Do you know how to do it? It goes in and then clicks. I mean, taking these things off is hard, but no one talks about putting them on. Oh, there you go. Yeah, that's done. Really nice clasp. Yeah, that's it. Actually, let me show you the clasp. Spin around. Look at that. That even looks really nice and classy. Metal. Chrome, all right. Classy clasp. So this is a dog tooth pattern. It's a nice dark brown and light brown with a little bug at the front. Again, a one piece. That goes with your skin tone. Very nicely. And your hair color. I just love how soft they all are. I really like this one. Very nice. It's not something I'd usually go for, but I'm glad I did. Yeah, no, it's classy. And the final one is this highly contrasting swimsuit. It's white, peachy color, and then this bright orange. I really like how the colors go together. You've got the orange also on the straps. The back is also crossed over nicely. And it's like a really nice summery color combination. Very happy with this one. And that is the end of the haul today. So I'd love to hear from you guys in the comments which one was your favorite. I've actually got a new technique when we come for walks. I take a juice with me that's freezing cold and I hold it so it keeps me cool. It means I don't get too hot. And I've got a nice, refreshing cold drink. As I walk around, this is a white elixir juice from Arete. So good. Ginger, garlic, lemongrass, pandan, lemon, and buko. Look at this for a weather check. So sunny. So hot, like ridiculously hot. It's 11 a.m. It's gonna get hotter, I'm sure. Thought we'd do a little daily vlog today. A little day in the life. Well, what we do every day, pretty much. Haven't been here since my birthday breakfast. Got this nice little alcove in the corner. We're right in the corner and we've kind of got like a sofa and some nice, soft, comfortable chairs each. Pretty wide, isn't it? We're also using this lens again. We got this lens out of the cupboard to film that moon video. And this is the most zoomy lens that we own. Good for B-roll and nice shots and stuff like that. So I thought we'd come out this morning. It's a very sunny day. Get some nice shots around BGC. The trees look so nice here. The buildings look so cool. The blue skies, the crisp white clouds. That's what, I don't mind a cloudy day if it's these white clouds that contrast against the blue sky. Gonna be lovely to watch back this vlog, I think. So I've ordered some avocado on toast and added some crispy bacon to that. And Lucy went for baked eggs. I'll show you the food when it arrives, but it's always good here. We're very big fans of this place. St. Louis, if you're wondering. Lucy and I always have these conversations of where are the spots we're gonna bring our family when they can finally come and visit? Things are looking a little bit better. We mentioned the other day about going home to the UK for a visit. It would be insane to bring our family back with us when we come back. If the timing works out like that, or even if they just travel here on their own. Often on our evening walks and things, we're planning trips for our family in our heads to show them parts of the Philippines that we love. And even just here in BGC, it's gonna be a bit of a challenge if, say, my parents come for two or three weeks. What do we show them in those two or three weeks? We do quarantine. Yeah, quarantine would be a thing. Maybe it'd be next year. They quarantine in a hotel, and then they have four days, and then they have a week. Yeah, well, I hope you enjoyed your time here. We're kind of grateful for being here. And the choice that we made to stay here at the start of the pandemic was, I think it was the right, as much as we miss everyone at home and stuff, I think it's been the right choice for us. We've managed to, well, you've seen everything we've done in the vlogs, and we're kind of grateful for how it's gone for us personally, when it's been so crap for so many other people. We've had some ups and downs with it, but always try and keep that positive mindset. Mindset is everything. The way you experience, the way you think about life is how you experience it. There's some cool quote there. There's a quote there about perceived reality. You live in your own brain, right? Yes, you do. Wow. Your brain lives in you. Something like that. Wow. All right, let's skip to the food. Wow. This looks unbelievable, guys. Look at the presentation. Gonna tuck in and enjoy this. So cool here. They've got these bonsai trees for sale. Look at that. All the way down here. Look at the prices of some of these. 580,000 pesos, which is like 10,000 pounds. Something like that. That's unreal. But they're super cool. Very cool. It's like a whole miniature tree. Right. We are back. It is a few hours later and I'm gonna sit here and edit up this vlog. We have our food for today. I don't know who ordered what. Oh, they are different, sorry. Indonesian spicy grilled fish. That's one of them. And then chicken rendang. Is that what you want now? If you haven't watched the vlog for a little while, Lucy and I are doing these six pack chef meals, which is the company. And you basically order for a whole week and it's healthy food. And it's pretty good, most of it actually. And it just saves, firstly saves us some time. We don't have to be cooking and grocery shopping and doing dishes and stuff like that. So we can spend more time filming and editing videos. And obviously the other reason is health. Trying to stay a bit more healthy, more long-term healthy as well. Not just when, you know, it's gotta be a consistently long thing. Although we did, you may have seen us eat katsu curry in the last vlog. So we did slip up yesterday, but there we go.
