DIY UV Resin Earrings Blue & White Pressed Flowers + Wooden Bezels

Let's make some fun flower earrings on Sophia the Hobbit Crafter. I got these cool nail stickers from either Amazon or Etsy and I love how they're blue and white. I made these wooden bezels with my laser cutter machine, a few pressed flowers that I actually pressed myself, some pearl posts, some tools, some resin tape, and some UV resin and we're ready to get started. I like to start with sanding the back of the wooden bezels because these were laser made they uh they have some burn marks on the back so I just kind of run them over some 220 grit sandpaper and we're good to start. I'm going to cut a little bit of the resin tape. I like to use Jenga blocks that I found on the floor to hold my resin tape down. It's very sticky. Then I'm going to firmly push down my wooden bezels. The more pushed down they are the better. Also check out my friend Calico Unicorn. I'm going to link her channel up in the corner. I'm going to start by adding a nice layer of resin because I want to put the stickers on first. I'm going to use a heat gun to get rid of as many bubbles as I can. All right now I'm going to go ahead and add one of my really pretty blue and white nail stickers to the resin. The resin is not cured yet. It's uncured and the reason I did this is A. I'm still trying to get bubbles out and B. I kind of wanted to see how this would work with a more of a layered look. Ugh and I touched it. It's fine my whole mat gets zapped with UV. All right finally I figure out I need tools and I kind of place it where I want and then I'm going to add my first white pressed flower and I just kind of guess how I wanted to arrange this. This looked cute to me and that's the look I went with. All right time for the second earring. I actually am cool with the back of these stickers being white. I actually like the backs of these as well. So I'm just going to swirl around get all the resin on it make sure there's no bubbles and then I'm going to add my white and blue flower. These are carnations. I've been really enjoying the white and the blue together. I'm not sure it's just it's kind of like my new vibe lately. I think it reminds me of spring and summer and these are looking amazing. Next we're going to add a bit of a top coat and we're just going to put some resin on and spread it around and make sure there's no bubbles. Make sure I get all the edges. You can tell when I don't get to the edges there's like little bumps so I'm trying to avoid that. Get some heat but not too close and then add some UV and the top part is done. Let's take a look. Yes these turned out beautiful. Very shiny. I love the blue flower and I love the little sticker. This is beautiful and I like that it's clear. I don't know it gives it another uh cool thing about it. I love clear stuff. All right let's do the back real quick. We're just going to add a layer. I tend to do this one a little less just because I don't want it to be super heavy. All right here's what it looks like before we add our hardware to it. I think they're turning out really nice. The flowers turned out great and I barely see any bubbles. All right we're going to attach it to this pearl post that I got. This is the first time I've ever used one. I think I got it from Amazon. I try little stuff here and there. I think I bought 10 of these. Oh my gosh this is so pretty. I'm just gonna gonna admire my own work here for a second. I'm imagining what dress these will go with. I actually have a sheet set that matches this and I feel like I should wear these to bed. Okay let's do the other earring. Sorry I got caught up in looking at my own stuff. These turned out amazing. I'm very happy. I think they're gorgeous. I really love the blue, the vibrant blue in the sticker and then the blue in the flower and the little white flower. I got tons of these blue carnations and I flattened them and I'm really happy with using them in my jewelry. All right let's add it to the card and get a final look. And here we go. We're done. They look so good. I love the blue and the pearl. It adds something to it. I don't know. Pearl and white and blue. These are beautiful.
