The Yi ethnic dance (by MING HUI School)

Queensland Dafa disciples held a grand celebration on May 10 in front of Brisbane City Hall to commemorate the 33rd anniversary of Dafa spreads around the world.

The Yi ethnic dance showcases the unique charm of China's southwestern mountain peoples. This vibrant dance is renowned for its joyful rhythm and agile movements, with performers dressed in colourful traditional costumes, especially the flowing, brightly-coloured skirts that add visual splendor to the performance. The rapid turns and nimble steps reflect the bold and free-spirited character of the Yi people and their love for life. This program not only displays China's rich ethnic cultural heritage but also brings audiences the distinctive warmth and joy of mountain folk culture, allowing people to experience the profound depth of Yi traditions.
