WE CAUGHT IT ON CAMERA!

i belong outside i need to be free i need to be running wild like a stallion we'll be fine we're gonna find out what kind of visitors we have been having i see it hitting the trees over there across the street we gotta go i just failed to get really warm we got something so remember hey friends how's it going today good to see you we are having a low-key kind of day today danielle and i have been trying to plan some things get some things done on our computers the girls are playing israel though is still sleeping and guess what time it is 10 24 am homeboy he went to bed at a decent time it wasn't that late it might have been like nine ten o'clock maybe i don't know it wasn't like super late and he's he's out he's still out he's just been sleeping all morning long and i'm like is he okay he's ah did you wake him up why did you wake him up look he's still sleepy look outside don't look at me just look over there is he feeling sick i don't think so i think she's just tired are you having a growth spurt you're not gonna sleeping much at night he's doing all those tricks right now if one fell swoop sweet boy so when we first came to see the house and we walked down here like there were deer tracks all over the place i feel like we haven't seen we saw some the other day we haven't seen as many but it's made us really curious and we've seen like raccoon tracks some that look they weren't raccoons the other day remember they could have been like awesome anyway we know there's a fox around but we haven't seen it yet i've heard it you've heard it we knew it was a fox because we heard it early in the morning and then we came to her and we said can we use your phone and then to that our dad and then he said yeah and then so we used it to listen to red fox noises and then we heard and it's like a female or a female or a male red fox and it sounded just like the thing that we had oh yeah no that's so early in the morning so anyway it's made us really curious what actually patrons are creek and we want to find out so john got some trail cameras and we're gonna see if we can catch him in action it's really cool too because like whatever we find then we can take and show the girls like photos we can listen to the sounds they make we can study them and do like little um homeschool mini lessons you know we can just i love that i love like learning by their interests by exploring by living actual life it kind of keeps their interests more because it's like actively part of their life so oh yeah please help israel entertaining oh my goodness oh my goodness is that everything you wanted waited oh he wants to recline there you go yeah so i got some trail cams and i'll set them up tonight and just see what we find look what i found it was floating in the water i was like oh looking like one and i was like do eggplant sink no acorns fill out they float i don't know you see that there's some tracks i wonder what made those tracks i'm thinking a sweet little deer named mary the dearest deer of all [Music] okay that is definitely some type of bird track we've seen a heron down here occasionally so i wonder i wonder if it's that three toes in the front and one on the back something was walking along here look at this that's a really clear one okay y'all is that from a snake i can't tell where right here it looks like and then there's like another little you said you followed no i said that's like she wanted me to have seen a real snake right here no not today sis this is from the loggers it washed down a little ways so maybe we can pull it out now but [Music] look at that just a mess that they left there we go there's some raccoon tracks look at those funny little handsome feet at least i think i guess they could be awesome but i think the raccoon right chase is it a raccoon this gigantic tree right here is living on top of this crazy that's deep and creepy it's living on top of this like root system underground but you can see through it oh look what we found update on the destruction see all that used to be of course okay so john went to go get his cameras his trail cameras to set those up so we can get a sneak peek on what's happening down here but me and these two evan maron explored up the creek found where the loggers knocked a bunch of debris in that's like the biggest one but that piece of tree falling knocked down all kinds of bramble and stuff so we need to clean that up but i really would just like to get this guy out of here so as these leaves die and the branches die it's just gonna make such a mess clogging up the creek so when he gets back down here i'm gonna see if he will help me drag this out we probably should cut it up maybe we can just turn it around and pull it up the bank and out and then we'll get those cameras up and it's on tonight we're gonna find out what kind of visitors we have been having yeah just slide down don't stone your butt and slide on in here comes the dad strong and brave here comes the dad the creek he will save look at this mess that is an understatement are you ready yeah you got your muscles on i see and your muscle shirt yeah see it oh yeah it's my thought john if you grab the butt of it grab it and push it up there and then we can go out and pull it up the rest of the way and then see our brush our burn piles right there so or that bank right there where it's open it might be harder to turn it around pull it this way because it's stuck underneath that tree pull it straight back this way look scarier for me good job baby all right dude watch out cause he's coming back with it straight back all right we got one branch off [Music] all right watch out dude we're gonna get we're about to get got whoa go that way go that way quick that's the one okay oh yeah oh yeah or you could drag it back up there did you put that there [Music] do you want to drag it back up where you came down so we'll probably clean this up because it's thorny and brambly and then we'll be able to come back down this way once we clean that we just haven't gotten this far yet but that thing was literally like damming up the tree see it was making literally like mud and sediment was just getting all stuck on it that one little piece watch out so once some of these branches are gone i feel like the leaves will flow out all right you grabbing that job well then thanks brute force now are you guys ready to set up the trail cameras to see if we can see any animals tonight [Applause] i promise she's excited yeah she said that was cute well i came down to put up the trail cameras but ended up pulling a tree out of a creek thanks to this one uh and now it's starting to rain so we got to get the kids back up and then i'll come down hopefully before it's pouring and uh see if i can get these things set up i see it hitting the trees over there across the street we gotta go oh my gosh oh my gosh i gotta pull these kids behind me it's pouring is it raining madeline is not happy she let her crayfish go she didn't want to she's heartbroken so that's what that sound is anyway all right all right well it looks like there's a little break coming up in the rain so i will hopefully be able to get out and put the trojans out during that break me and ev my partner we're gonna go oh no there's gonna see us come back we're going we're going to go just me and ev we're going to get the cameras and we're going to go down and set them up you ready all right i know she's down there we got to go get the cameras anyways so i try to avoid her all right guys set it up on something where do you want to put that one i'm gonna let you pick one place to put it where do you think the animals are coming pink and then coming down to the creek oh over here where you know they're coming down here getting some drinks of water not over here what do you think like down here in the by the water hmm let's see if we see any tracks anywhere i know we saw some earlier but there used to be fresh tracks like all over here and i just don't see them anymore especially since they started logging back behind us so that kind of stinks call it a day all right let's see let's put the card in here let's turn it on all right come on okay i want this next one like so we gotta catch this spot here because i bet you they come from down there some and there's some tracks over there too and some over there so i'm gonna see if i can rig something up here [Music] anyone according to me probably come on let's go all right so we'll come back tomorrow and see if we got us anything right ever what's up guys so i'm gonna go down and check on these cameras real quick it rained a lot like early this morning i don't know how that affects the movement of animals like if they still go their same ways they wait till later if it's pouring rain or if they just don't care i don't know we're gonna find out here very shortly though i got my crew with me i got the tyler she's super pumped laney are you super pumped lainey so we're gonna go see what we can what if anything i used to see a lot more tracks when we first moved here but the girls spend so much time down the creek i wonder if that likes scares the people they're cutting back there so they're in and they're cutting back behind and they're cutting the habit logging right back behind us so that's definitely gonna be affecting any deer or things that might be living back there so and like destroying their habitats and stuff yeah destroying the habitats so we're going to find out what we got yeah look at all the nasty runoff yeah it rained a ton this morning so it's got a lot more water flowing down all right here's our camera there's a little path right here looks like maybe a little deer path or something definitely some animals we've come down here so we set the camera up right here it doesn't blink whenever it's just set to on let's see in this creek is it all right come on let's go check the other one guys all right so we set this one up down here there's like some little paths and things and pads up that way you have path over there so hopefully this will have something here too we shall see all right guys let's go back and see what we got what do you think what do you think we got ty anything you think there's anything on the cameras [Music] maybe raccoon or fox do you think there's any deer in there better than to drink some water i mean that's good that's good deer drinking water right there do they come out when it rains i don't know that's what i said i'm not sure if it because it was raining i woke up like six and i heard thunderstorms like big thunderstorms so i don't know if that keeps them away or what we'll find out but yes we about to find out we'll find them next time in the murray let's go see what we got a raccoon you think there's a raccoon oh we got something there's a creature we got chase there's a mysterious creature back there we're gonna have to do a little more hunting for him see what he is all right let's see this is 1am though so let's see what this is oh look at that a family of raccoons oh my goodness that's so cute i wish it did a better job of capturing they're doing the middle wall yeah that's scary yeah they're doing this raccoons walking by yeah this is this morning oh we caught us a creature oh it's crazy in this creature look at how it walks oh man look at this creature oh wow that's a crazy creature so far raccoons which we kind of expected so but again they're logging back behind us the tracks have definitely like decreased since that started i don't know i kind of want to see if there's any more deer coming out here i'm gonna have to go throw some of them persimmons down there or get some of the apples um from mr neil's house he said that we can take some so we'll see i'm gonna we'll have to go to danielle's spot that she wants to go to and then we'll put some fruit down that was scary
