Taking our Baby outside for the First Time!

hello guys welcome back to a brand new video on the channel um hope you guys are all doing well we're a little bit here there and everywhere with the vlogs at the moment in terms of our real life right now because we are day five into having this guy a little coda and day two at home day two at home so today on a date so they count it like he was the first day he was born he was day zero yeah so we've had him for more in our heads more than five days it's been like a week nearly so we really have just got home and just got settled and just got used to his sleeping arrangements here and everything all everything yeah but he's met the grandparents yeah he's my grandparents uh we filmed some of that so i hope you guys saw it um today we are taking him out for the very first time in the fresh air for a walk we've waited weather check 10 out of 10 today there it is beautiful blue skies sunny yeah so we have waited for a really nice day he's he's good as gold at the moment could all change in a few weeks wait um yeah but at the moment as long as he's fed changed et cetera he is very very happy boy and he sleeps like this he's so adorable for a long long time there he is good boy so yeah we're gonna head out i think we're just gonna go down to the beach we're so close to the beach here it's a beautiful day it's gonna be his first time outside ever other than going from the hospital to the car and fresh air is really good for him fresh is gonna be good for us lucy and i are still very very tired i was in hospital for five days in one room so yeah it'd be so nice we're both running on zero a little bit but we did feel like picking the camera up this afternoon i think because it's it's a nice day one document this moment one checking with you guys hope you're doing well and yeah we're gonna get to buggy for the first time yeah we need to learn how to use that yeah get them all wrapped up get a little hat on him i think yeah yeah it's not cold but it it's quite cold outside today yeah so that isn't so part of what george and i do involve sometimes companies sending us emails and offering us to try out products and we had an email the other day and i picked up on this from a company called ulight who have sponsored today's video because they basically said they want to send over this product and i thought this is perfect for george i love the packaging it's super nice this is the ulight led screen light bar pro as you guys know we recently had some lights put in behind the tv and george absolutely loved it he loves ambient lighting he loves desk setups he's a little bit of a geek with that kind of stuff it's got 16 million yes million color backlights which are compatible with razer chroma rgb for any of you people out there that are into this kind of tech stuff you can use it on both flat screen or curved screens oh there's actually a flat screen so we'll get it set up in a second and show you can you close your eyes but if you have your eyes closed you're both asleep i've got oh no don't close your eyes okay wait you've ruined it i've got something for you i didn't see what it was it's for wow oh cool for the screen yeah oh really oh wow brilliant oh thank you that's amazing okay baby's distracted for a second can we open it yeah so i've been talking to the team at eli and they wanted to gift this to you oh and i said yes please amazing thank you for arranging that wow look at the packaging oh it's so soft and oh this is nice okay here it is instructions whoa that is weighty that's heavy i'm guessing that goes on there okay so also in the box you get a power supply usbc and then this is the remote control which runs on batteries so we need to so you get these two parts this is the light bar this is what goes on the back of your screen this part is weighted but this is kind of rubber but really solid rubber this is heavy goes in there magnetically really satisfyingly and this just clips onto your screen it's not like having to stick something on your screen no you don't that weight just sits on there and just clips on the weight sort of keeps it in place and then this just magnetically goes on we're going to plug it in and we should whoa nice let's turn this lamp off that's epic okay it's exposing how dusty our screen is oh wow okay move the box so nice imagine that in the evening we can get rid of the light yeah oh i love it that is so cool and then i can like wow so i'm using this remote control down here and i can turn that on and off so i can see my keyboard i can see what i'm doing the vlogging yeah light vlog light yeah look look at the difference wow okay that's so cool the remote control i'm controlling the brightness by twisting this that's awesome up and down brightness thank you very much so on the remote you can change it's on like a multi-colored one going around you can change the color and the temperature of the light you can twist it yeah it also has this angle so like wherever your keyboard is or whatever if you're writing or something from it they call it work mode so if you're writing and you just want that tilted down but that just perfectly shows me my keyboard the quality as well of everything everything just feels nice this isn't like it's not cheap and light it's solid and it's like a quality product and the color is grey it just fits in wow amazing thank you so much picked up these as a little treat they didn't no you did no your mum got us these as a little treat yeah here you go have one i just ate one did you do another do you want another one all right i will have one in a minute they're delicious coda is having a slight little nap now look at him he is very very happy in his basket now having a little nap this is the perfect dessert oh he's an angel this is um his bed we can use when he's out in this room with us which is good because obviously we're not we're not leaving and one of us is always in the same room as him at all [Music] times look amazing loose day two at home so so natural okay we are gonna get out it's like beautiful beautiful sunlight out there so we're gonna try and figure out how to take them outside yeah there's a lot that we need to now um do before we leave we used to just put our shoes on and go now we need to make sure he's fed when was he last changed i'm not going to be closing him yet because he needs to feed him first okay see things like that think about all this stuff but we're very lucky where we um live at the moment we are so so close to the beach and a nice walkway promenade thing so it's kind of the perfect little area to take him for his first walk outside getting some fresh air [Music] okay we are out coda's first walk along the seafront it's windy yeah it's very windy so if the uh sorry if the sound is a little bit windy but we made it out oh there's a lot of people out we haven't seen them outside well i can't see ahead of me it's so sunny why are you wearing sunglasses no you got you uh you had a good thing going there with the sunglasses i should have done but so far he is still asleep and just enjoying having a little walk along sea front feels good to be out we've been both of us have been cooped up indoors for around six days now you're cold as you feel all right oh he's toasty in there he's got like a little bear outfit on we sometimes do call him coda bear yeah um not after the i think it's a disney film there's a character in a disney film with the same name yeah but we actually didn't get it from the film some of you may have been wondering it's actually really nice being out and about i didn't know how soon after i'm giving birth i'd be out and about i thought it could be a couple of weeks maybe but five days it's pretty good going um it's not hurting to walk which is good it might be a tiny bit but it's so so lovely it's really nice it's really cold but it's nice nice weather ah fresh air and we are getting some of our first little snaps for uh memories our first photos out with him as well yes but loving his wheels very cool buggy i love it the color is so nice to sleep he just did a little stretch did it sleep again yeah it's so nice huge thanks again to lucy's dad and grandma as we're now calling her yeah it's not dad and grandma no they're what are they grandpa and grandma grandpa and grandma yeah so far we've all the grandparents seem to have different little nicknames that they want to be known i've got mama and granddad grandpa and grandma nana and grams yeah got loads of different names which is awesome um yeah very cool very spoiled with grandparents aren't you it's so dark in there wait there you go hi oh and this also this outfit this is um you can't see it properly now it's very very big for him but i thought it'd just be so cozy this is from um jazz george's sister it's like a big brown bear outfit which is again like a bear yeah [Music] okay i would put that down as a roaring success successful first walk yeah code has slept through the whole thing we're not home yet but he really has been so so good and seems to be enjoying the fresh air i think i am as well yeah it must be so nice for you actually yeah i feel like i was in isolation again i felt like i was in a locked down in the hotel quarantine again because i was in one room yeah there's a box um and it was a very special box yeah it was still a box it has felt like another quarantine trying to think of things to say and what i would know what but imagine in 10 years when we're watching this video back is why we love vlogging so much no no we got like this time capsule of this first moment that we took our first son out and about for the very very first time we have it captured in glorious uh video glorious 4k which our parents didn't have like we do have videotapes from when we were kids which we're really lucky about but this is going to be next level i just want to what would i want to know how we're feeling mainly i think yeah and just so so happy basically i don't know there's only one word to describe it and it's happiness and surreal surreal very surreal nine month build up for this moment incredible this walk along the sea front indeed it's the most special walk that we've ever done exactly okay we are back and he is settled down so we're going to speak a little bit quietly but we're not being too quiet because he doesn't seem to mind we can speak at normal right now okay everything we're saying here we're gonna look back in three months we're five days in we're gonna look back in three months and say we didn't have a clue we didn't know anything but at the moment he doesn't seem to mind noises if he's tired and he's sleeping bless you just a little sneeze um if he's tired and he's sleeping he doesn't seem to mind us talking we have to radio one bit of music pottering around and lucy's mom this evening has been kind enough to cook us a roast dinner which is so so kind um so i'm going to go what it looks like what roast an entire is for us it's not it's like a whole chicken whole chicken trimmings yeah okay so um i am gonna go hop in the car and pick that up and then basically we've realized that there's always something to do there's never we've never had a few minutes spare really up until now that's really annoying that whole clip you probably should wait until it's finished that's it yeah nice but that is real life we just have to pick up the camera and vlog vlog when we can um because we have a new top priority in our lives but yeah wow so here is our dinner that i've just picked up from lucy's moms how nice is that roast potatoes yorkshire pudding stuffing oh no both of our reactions were like oh they're pigs in blankets by the way sausages wrapped in bacon the most delicious thing ever very popular in the uk at christmas parsnips this is like a christmas dinner and loads of broccoli good because we need we need all the goodness broccoli can give us christmas cake i think oh really oh that i'm very happy about that it's like gallon or something yeah is it christmas cake oh oh that's great news brilliant oh yeah i forgot the chicken i was so i was actually just happy enough for this it's been in foils it looks a little bit funny wow slightly wrinkled yeah yeah yeah oh roast chicken in there yeah that's hilarious oh my god it's huge okay amazing so we want to say a huge thank you guys we're going to end off this vlog here because we're going to eat our dinner and then i'd love to say we're going to go to bed and have a lovely sleep but probably not the case we're going to be up every i think two hours maybe with the feeding and all that kind of stuff but we're loving every minute we are in such a baby bubble we're enjoying it so much we're loving it we have no idea what day is what time it is um we're just in this most unique part of our lives ever and and we're totally loving it so thanks for watching again so from the
