I Tried SO Hard But Couldn't Do This (Emotional)

[Music] snuck away i need to speak quietly because i want to show you guys something before i show george in this package i basically ordered something really awesome for george good morning by the way welcome back to another vlog and i've been waiting like seven days for this to come and put in what'd you say yeah just decide later okay he's drying his hair you will not be able to hear me now perfect timing um i've got to say really cool for george and i'm gonna quickly open it now 10 seconds while he dries his hair literally should i open it or should i let him open it i don't know if it's wrapped or not okay i want to open it and i can put it in a bag or something if it's not wrapped cool it's not wrapped i'm glad i opened it this is some personalized okay so i'm literally speaking between his hair drying this is some personalized books from a company called hooray heroes we're actually meant to be leaving the house in about 10 minutes as well because we've got um something to go and do in hove and we'll tell you about that in a second we get in the car but i've just got a tiny bit of time now and i'm too i'm too um excited not to have a quick look okay he's now brushing his teeth so i can actually speak again so these are personalized it's like story books and they look so sweet i basically you go online and you can put in names you can almost like the sims you can basically change how the characters look as us so you can choose like hair color eye color if they've got freckles or glasses or all that kind of stuff and i've got three books here so we've got this one here called when coda grows up this one here which has got a little sleeve the warrington family this is us here i think i've done quite a good job at making us look like us i've even like got george's hair perfectly well and then the last one is you're always coder you'll always be our little boy i'm not going to open them properly yet because they've been sealed so i'm going to go and surprise george with them now i think we've got time before we leave let's make time but it's just so cool i think it's such a sweet little gift george has been amazing with koda he's been like the best dad ever it's a little way for me to say thank you for that so when the company offered to gift us these books i said yes please let's do that they haven't sponsored the video or anything but they did send us these books so that i could show you guys on the vlog today okay slight change of plan um things take longer to do when you've got a baby than you imagine and we're now a little bit late so i'm gonna take them with me in the car and if we end up getting there on time or early even then i'll do it in the car if not i'll do it in the car afterwards um but first we need to leave the house now because we're running late so i've just sterilized some bits to take with us and oops and we can now leave and hopefully still make it on time and just minus mine is a surprise but it's fine we'll do it in a second [Music] i look like um david bowie are we yeah when you edit this if you edit this george you'll see what i mean your eye color uh i can't really explain it i'll let you see this in the edit or in the final vlog and so we're now in hive almost we're still in ports laid we're on our way to hove and we're actually doing a course at the moment well it started on friday but we weren't around on friday so i emailed the lady and said we won't be able to make the first session there's basically six sessions and i said we can't do session one but she really can't be offered like a one-to-one and so george and i just go into her house now um to get like a catch-up session on the first one and it's basically and we did the baby class i think we said in the vlog before where it was um seven couples and seven couples basically all with babies do at the same time and someone from that group sent a link to this course and said they're going on it and asked if anyone wanted to join um and it sounded like something really interesting something we've not really done much with before and it's basically what's it called mindfulness for new parents i think's a name so i'm not sure what it's gonna really entail but it sounded like something really nice and really saying that could be really beneficial to us in sort of the first few weeks with coda um everything's mindset everything's mindset yeah your reality is what you think and your thoughts yeah your existence your thoughts are your experience yes george is getting very warmed up for the class i know it's true i know i know i'm only joking um but we're almost here um so i don't think we'll film anything in the course because it's just this lady's house i'm like why are you filming me we'll catch up with you guys when we're finished and we'll let you know how it was um but it could be something really special and oh that's a nice house did you see that we're all nice around here this is a very nice area lovely we are 10 minutes early so i got literally a few minutes to quickly come and grab a coffee from this place 17 grams which i am yet to actually try but i've been wanting to try who runs it is called lisa corey so if anyone's in these i would say sussex area you could travel for it couldn't you um we'd highly recommend it and it was so good we'll talk more about it later but right now we've just pulled up at nando's and we're gonna get some like however starving i've just looked in the window of burger king oh memphis barbecue king double burger with onions bacon cheese [Music] might have to have nandos and then on the way out on the way home grab a burger right if i'm still hungry if you're so hungry it's also raining so let's get coder in yeah he's woken up we're gonna take the full buggy in he managed to have a feed and a nappy change during the class as well which was interesting but he's wide awake hello look at them chubby cheeks he's so squished in that card he sort of sits in his chin comes out bless him he was squished should we wait the whole buggy bit um yeah otherwise it's got to be on the floor let's let's take it out in the rain then we'll get him out but let's oh we didn't bring the rain jacket thing it's only that it'll be fine we only had breakfast before we came out so we are both very very hungry we've come it's like 4 p.m so i'm having my plan is to eat for breakfast and no for lunch and dinner in one meal so let's see what we can order see if we can get a little feast going on your first nandos yeah this car seat is good because it yeah it extends yeah it reclines done so he can chill there for a bit longer so here you actually order on the app and then it just comes to your table you have to choose your chicken choose your spice level we've gone for medium and hot we're gonna get two things um i'll do a coke zero actually if there is coke zero yeah no coke zero sprite zero anything zero okay i'll do that then halloumi to start got a wrap here with some caramelised onion halloumi and chicken coleslaw fries some more chicken and jor's got the same but with a little grainy salad thing nice so so nice we have stopped by the store next door lucy's looking a few outfits for coda it's so easy to shop for him isn't it yeah this is cute oh i just looked i nearly got a hoodie like this for me really yeah this same one no i don't know it's a different brand but it's like a similar similar look similar logo oh if you get that i might get the hoodie okay then we can match and this one is which is like a full full track suit yeah um [Music] okay it's dark and rainy now just as we thought we're getting some nice weather in in in the uk uh it starts getting bad again but never mind that was quite a successful shop we got um koda two outfits i got a pair of shoes i got a new hat um at least got a t-shirt so unexpected little spontaneous purchases i didn't go too mad because i did a big asos order loads of new clothes only let's no it's just like i'm not really a space right let's get coda in the warm you like that lamps coming out of your head look oh yeah oh tired yeah same tired um i've been carrying something around with us all day and it hasn't been a good chance to give it to you yet got my surprise yeah it's true me and coda coda and i oh i've brought you a present when when were just in that store no i i i was gonna give it to you this morning and then we were running around like mad people trying to get him ready to leave because we were late then i was gonna give it to you in the car before we got out but then you wanted to go to a coffee shop so we couldn't do it then okay what do you think okay and then i wanted to give it to you in the car when we got back in but it was soaking wet and in bad moods by then so i didn't do it then okay and i was gonna give it to you when we got home but then you sat and did a clothes order so i've just been sat here basically waiting for about 12 hours to give you this okay i'm excited what is that i really don't notice stuff like that no i know that bag on there a minute ago i even moved it i don't think to think what is that because you always have stuff going on bags and you even you know those people's birthdays the parcel you bought in earlier you were so distracted by your asos order yeah you also carried this in i carried it in yeah and i went oh okay i'll open that when you open this one then i just went off into the bedroom with it you could like get anything by me it's scary and um this morning i was filming a clip pretending to start the vlog but i was actually filming a clip about and showing this look his feet look at his feet oh okay now i'm i'm really intrigued hey well about to show you all right thanks take one out at a time okay turn around when coda grows up do you know what it is you can take the plastic off george watching coda grow up day by day you know there's nothing that he can't do he can make any dream he wants come true and his daddy will be there each step of the way wow what what these coming up in the mall yeah but open the take the plastic off there okay it's like what it's like personalized and i take that out that's just like a cover on that all right turn it around you look at the back face the warrington family have you noticed who's on it like sims that's me yeah yeah and that's code and you got your haircut exactly like it yeah and that's you yeah obviously it sounds like it's going to be your new girlfriend never know this is cool cody you'll always be our little boy oh my goodness that's amazing where did you find this company wow and what did they do i didn't open it is it a whole is it blank and you put photos in i'm not gonna say a word i'm gonna let you discover it is this your new like um this new project you've been working on no it's not mine you somehow launched this without me realizing he's wriggling 25th of january 2022 from two to three were now family wow oh my god what if we the warrington family or live in the scrapbook every page will be a stage for the greatest front ever and this is it's all like personalized yeah like road trips this is amazing and watching tv of popcorn how fun when he's this age yeah yeah and when we look this old because they do look older than us in my opinion me playing guitar this is amazing lucy this is awesome so do you tell it tell it do you like put in it's like sims and you personalize your characters yeah so you make the character and then you get to choose the different stories so like i chose like what ones to include when we can read them stories we can read him stories about us yeah exactly in our family exactly brilliant thank you i love that and there's like three different stories yeah that's insane how cool whoever started this company what's the company hooray heroes yeah love it love it love it love it this is actually so special i've just been looking through the three books we've opened them now and it's got coder's name everywhere all part of the stories with us like me and lucy has characters it's all personalized and lucy wrote a really nice message in the front of this can i read it out yeah but like hey look the world the world calls me george but i'm daddy only to you so good so lucy right in front of his dear daddy and coda welcome to the world you are both so loved by mummy you and your my world you make me smile every day and i cannot wait for our future together as a family loads of love and kisses mommy so this is when i'm reading coda this book i can be like this is the book from mummy this yeah i'm not in that one it's like just youtube and it's from you yeah that's like making me cry nearly oh my god that's amazing so before we end the vlog we'll quickly show you what you've got in tk maxx george got these trainers can't tell if i absolutely love them or if they're disgusting i think they're cool i like them they are a bit um you said they're dad quite dad aren't they but i like them a bit different didn't think you'd be going for red training i wanted something a bit different yeah i like them i don't know i like this color a lot really nice um then a hat i don't know i just thought it was like chap actually i'll wear it now yeah there we go sword i've wanted a new hat for a while it's a little bit different you need to put it down a bit on your forehead don't you yeah do you like it me no coda maybe he can wear it no a bit big for him bit big and then we got koda our two outfits this is six to twelve months but i reckon he'll be in it next week cause he's massive um this like ombre black track suit which i'm imagining of like white trainers when he can wear trainers and then this 12 month another track suit i mean it looks a bit weird because of how it is on the hanger that's better it was the top was being pushed up by the trackie so it's a little long sleeve top and then a pair of traxi bottoms in this sort of navy with a little red cord thingy i love dressing him i love having a boy for that reason i love boys clothes probably more than girls so that's exciting um and then i got myself this t-shirt it says i don't know why says university of florida but i just like the crocodile on it print i don't know a bit weird but i like it we are going to end this video off here thank you for watching today we hope you enjoyed it today has felt like i was saying to lucy on the in the car on the way home today is about the most normal day since having coda yeah because we i don't know we like went out of town we left the house firstly which is a big thing um we went out of town we spent some time with a friend and did like a course and had a chat about stuff and just spent time with other human beings we went out for lunch we then walked around the shop we did some shopping we bought some clothes just felt it felt good we drove around it felt like it wasn't as overwhelming as it had been when to grab we were going around with a buggy in the shop and we weren't like ah he's trying or he needs changing i mean it just felt quite like we've got this yeah quite really controlled today has been a milestone for us turning point yeah yeah not that it was like awful before but we were like the idea of going out is quite daunting isn't it two weeks ago we hadn't even left house yeah probably not true three weeks ago i don't know i don't know time's a blur but yeah we're going for one small walk a day yeah this was like out from what time do we leave like like 12 to a five no later 12 till like half six yeah yeah that's really good so you did very well well done mate tied him out though did tie him out he's knackered and yeah so we are going to end this video off now sorry that the showing george thing took so long you realize that was meant to start the vlog at least she filmed an intro and i was like let's go get george and then i was like okay we're not doing it now we're going out and then i was like oh we've got the course and then we've got it i was like a little bit emotional reading that yeah just off camera when we stopped filming i was just kind of like looking through it all and it's so special yeah it's so nice i'm glad you like it i look forward to reading that to coda when he can uh read when he can understand you can listen
