Buying My Fiancé a V8 Range Rover L322!

okay mate yeah yeah that sounds good yeah thanks so much we'll see you soon all right cheers bye wow guys okay today is a very exciting day i just got off the phone we are about to go and pick up lucy's dream car now she doesn't know about this this isn't like a surprise video or something i've just decided to go and do on my own with this little guy we have to make big decisions like this together but for a long long time lucy's dream car has been a range rover we've been talking about getting one as like a second big family car all sorts of reasons we want one and why we want to own one and all the different ways we're gonna use it and things like that they're huge they're gonna be great for driving a family around and going on days out and things like that and doing all the things that aren't suitable to do in our regular car so i've been online i've found one locally i went to see it a couple of weeks ago and i've just got off the phone with the guy i've been chatting to him for the last week or so doing the deal and we've come to an agreement and today we are picking up the car so i wanted to vlog this moment this is going to be a lot of fun lucy a million percent deserves this as you know we both love our cars and we've always wanted to own it yeah you excited and we've always wanted to own one of these so let's hop in the car let's go and pick it up and let's see lucy's reaction [Music] okay slightly wind swept but just had my first drive in the new car and oh my god it's amazing i'm so happy with it it's so different to three series it's so much higher up i've actually randomly today decided to start a new youtube channel about cars from my perspective and i've just filmed a bit of that video um just now so make sure you head over there and check that it's so good i love it the steering wheel is huge it feels like you're in a tractor you're super high up the leather seats are so comfortable the sunroof is amazing it drives really well it doesn't feel like it's 13 years old 13 yeah 13 years old and it certainly doesn't feel like it's done 167 000 miles like it has it's great i'm so excited for this i know it's um i'm sure things are going to go wrong in it because they always do with this model um it's kind of known for it but i don't know if george said this earlier but it's kind of why we want a car like this so i want a second car this is in my name and so i guess it's kind of my car but obviously i'll be sharing it and the three series and depending on what we're doing but we wanted a car that we can just track our muddy boots in and go for countryside walks and something a bit more rugged um and that's exactly what this car is and it's already got scuffs all over it well it's not too bad but like it's not perfect it's not got immaculate paintwork so it's just like a different type of car for us i've completely lost my train of thought of what i was talking about there just a bit too excited but um it's so fun it's such a good car to drive and i feel like at home in it not that i don't feel at home in the three series but this feels more like me i feel more like this is my kind of thing when i'm driving it and maybe because i've always had bmws it's just fun for me to be in something different maybe that's what it is um but yeah this is awesome i'm so excited it's a lot bigger and it's probably the biggest car i mean i drove the x7 in manila um but i didn't drive that for long this is probably the biggest car i've driven for like a proper drive and it's perfectly manageable like i'm not struggling to like squeeze through gaps or anything like i'm fairly used to the size of it already i think and there's like arm rests and things it feels much more luxurious but i suppose brand new this car would have been pretty expensive it's just a quite a good price now because um it's quite old and it's got quite a lot of mileage on but yeah exciting new car day we're growing our car collection it seems good we nearly didn't make it through there yeah the um the bars on the car park i had to hang out and stuck his head out there and then nearly got my hand and i was like yeah it could have been bad but but how nice it's so good such an animal isn't it such a beast so much room yeah it suits you you look really at home in it and we are very very happy with the car indeed we've come out for a little bit of a late evening walk it's like yeah if you didn't catch that lucy said it's 9 p.m and this is what 9 p.m is like right now in england beautiful it's like crisp it's like golden hour and you can't be bothered can't be bothered to get up for sunrise to get golden hour stay up late and get the next golden hour i mean i say late it's it's like well i just said actually it's 9 p.m on the dock 21 o'clock so i think we're just dropping the piece right now with our v8 we've said we've got we've got a hybrid right there's zero road tax a year this is a v8 3.6 litre diesel and actually cut the engine maybe it might might not be able to hear you the road let me just park just okay the road tax is 650 pounds a year yeah it's disgusting really um it's shocking but having the hybrid that zero pounds a year it's balanced out so life's about balance that's how to look at it that is a good way to look at it sound healthy no what was that okay we'll get that looked at in another video
