How to fill up a UK motorhome with USA Propane (LPG)

Morning everyone, so it's day 25 and we're currently in about central Florida. So we're on our way to fill up with gas. Now they don't call it gas in in America, they call gas is petrol here, so they call it propane. I think it's propane rather than propane. Oh Sat Nav's talking, so ignore the Sat Nav and go the other way Gary. He only does it when you do it. So anyway, so we're having a good time. We stayed overnight at a place called, what was that place called again now? 30 Oaks Ranch. 30 Oaks Ranch. So we stayed there last night, it was boiling hot when we got there. I've got about 70 million mosquito bites and because Gary's got a blood group, I don't know how this happened, he's like, what are you an O? O negative. He's O negative. Mosquitoes don't really like eating him, so guess who gets double barrel? Me! Honestly, it's like braille. So we're at the tractor supply company and there you can see the price of propane here. It's £3.39 a gallon and they fill it up. There's like a tank here. We've currently got the motorhome over there on the car park. We're going to fill her up, but talk us through, what gas did we need really when we came here Gary? So they don't do the bottles here that match the van, so what we had to do was we had to get some refillable LPG bottles fitted to the van. Yeah. And the LPG that they call propane here is the same stuff and basically what happens is they bring out their sort of, almost like a filler gun at a petrol station. I've got an adapter that fits their gun and then fits my wagon on the RV on the other side and it gets done like that. So where'd you get the adapter from? I bought that on Amazon before we came out. They sell a pick of three, one of which is a US adapter because we're doing more travelling. I've bought the European adapters as well for France and Spain. So yeah. So we've currently only got the refillable, what do you call it, LPG stuff? Yeah, refillable LPG. Right brilliant. Gary's bringing her in. Here she comes. So we'll show you the actual fill up. So we screw in the adapter like that and then he can screw his. Gary's got it. So it goes in both, one fills up and then it automatically switches to that and then it automatically cuts off when they're both full. Here we go, got a bit of gas action going on. So now it's going to switch it. Oh, you can actually hear it gushing in. So we filled her up and we're back on the road. We're off to Don Garlit's Museum of Drag Racing, so that should be good fun.
