Excalibur Assassin: ATA 2018
Hey everyone, so this is the new Excalibur Assassin. Brand new for 2018.
Basically you've got our same micro front end and everything else has been changed from there.
360 feet per second without the sound deadening, 350 with it on there. Uses quill arrows like our
micro bows. Other than that, biggest thing is we've now added an internal crank. So this is
charger cranking system. Completely built in. Instead of using a rope cocking aid and having
to pull 140 pounds, it's now 12 pounds of pressure with the crank handle to cock this bow. From there
we also have our new Tru-Fit stock. Totally adjustable, has 3 inches of length of pull
adjustment, 2 inches of adjustment in the cheek piece. All done with fingers. Don't need any tools,
moves in and out easily. On top of that, we also have our new Pro-Shot trigger.
Excalibur triggers have always been known for being good, we've now improved it even more. It's
like a rifle now. True two-stage trigger, 3 pound break, crisp, best trigger we believe you'll ever
see in a crossbow. Other than that, our biggest, kind of the most important part is this little
thing right here. This is called a full draw latch. What this does is when the sliding catch
comes back, it locks that up, centres it, ensures that it's not moving side to side so you get
repeatable accuracy every time. Other thing it does is it takes all the pressure off the cocking rope.
So two little hooks, grab it, all the pressure's off the cocking rope, you're no longer getting
stretch in the rope or anything like that from it being cocked. Charger crank also allows us, so
not only can you cock it with that, it's completely silent and you can decock it also safely. With
that, the decocking, we have our new fail-safe strap. That's what makes it safe because if the
handle happens to get away from you, the strap catches it and maintains it so you don't have to,
you don't lose it, you don't get hit by it. So safely decock is also one of the biggest things
and completely silent. Other than that, bow's going to retail for about $16.99 at dealers.
They're shipping now so you can find it almost anywhere that stock Excaliburs.
