We Have Not Been Together Recently...

good morning guys good morning and welcome back to another Vlog excuse my voice I have woken up sick and I thought the first thing to do would be grab the vlogging camera and tell you about it yeah for some reason I escaped all of the winter illnesses in the UK what if one degree it still winter isn't it it's still winter it's freezing cold the Christmas illnesses I've escaped all the Christmas illnesses and I was all happy about it all cocky about it that I um was an athlete and that my cold showers had made me immune from any diseases and illnesses going around but it has now caught up with me and I feel a bit rough but wanted to film a vlog today because as you can see behind me we no longer have our wall of boxes behind me here quick weather check to start this Vlog because just look at that blue skies absolutely beautiful and I can't actually Vlog here because the sun is too bright so I'm going to change my location and take my coffee so yes as you can see we have started clearing some stuff and we are now we are now in the process of removing all this stuff over to the new house which is very exciting we should be moving into the new house in about three days yes that's right it's been a long time coming so today's a day of moving today is a day of sorting out stuff that we need to sort out um it's a big thing we're going to use a removals company and actually hire professionals to come and help us but then we decided we're going to try and save the money and not spend the money on it and do it ourselves we've got the Range Rover which is huge with the seats down we've got my dad's Volvo any Volvo owners out there comment below you know there's nothing that will not fit in a Volvo estate so we've got those two cars and we've done I would say about probably 70 of stuff is now over at the new house the flooring's down in the house Lucy's heading there soon she's going to give you an actual visual update but the house has changed so so much if you've missed a few Vlogs we've bought a house we're renovating it we're moving in this is a temporary accommodation for us that we've been living in whilst renovating the new house but the new house is so nearly ready the flooring went down last week carpets are coming in this week but this morning I've gone and grabbed some coffee from the coffee shop and it was a cold one there was ice all over the car and I'm not feeling good this is so annoying on the week that we're moving into the new house I feel ill and I'm terrible at being ill when I'm Ill it's a little bit worse than when other people are ill don't know why just is so if you've ever had a cold think of that but then add on like 20 worse and that's probably what how I'm feeling that is a joke by the way Lucy always thinks I exaggerate when I Mill yeah let's get on with today wanted to Vlog it feels like a while since we picked up the camera we have been so so busy it makes no sense to past me that full-time vloggers are too busy to film a vlog it just doesn't make any sense because this is what we do but for some reason we have not had the time to film and edit and look after Coda and get all our other stuff done because we're working on some new projects this year some new content some other pieces of work that are actually offline and off this Vlog um all sorts of stuff going on exciting stuff will share all of it with you this year but for now I'm going to finish this off I'm going to get a little bit of breakfast Lucy's going to the house I'm staying here we'll talk more about that later as well because that's interesting our lives have not been the same recently and we will explain why and we haven't actually been seeing that much of each other so that's a conversation for later on I did have a haircut last week you may have noticed please no more comments about a bowl what size Bowl did they use this time George is that a one dollar haircut it is a little bit short again but it grows back and it's so much easier to waking up in the morning not having to do anything with my hair but enough rambling thanks so much for clicking on this Vlog come along with us today hope you guys are all doing well I hope you're having a fantastic start to the week whether it's the beginning middle end of your week whatever you've been up to it is so nice checking in with you guys truly do hope you are having a good start to 2023. things are moving quick with our move and I will never be at the house later and I'll give you a quick update with George is currently moving some boxes over and it's really exciting um sorry about the noise in the background the tumble dry eyes on and it's very noisy for some reason and yeah things are coming together very nicely um but it's just so weird I feel like I haven't seen George for like three weeks probably like we literally see each other in the morning have a quick cup of coffee together in bed or with while watching Coda then I go to the house I work in the house he's working here looking off Dakota and then we meet again in the evening I usually get back in time to give credit some dinner and help him to bed and then we're just exhausted I'm either at the gym George's at the gym it's just been so weird because there's just been no real crossovers so we're very much looking forward to being in the house because we've just had like a month of being apart and we can actually spend some time together again which would be really nice but anyway yeah thanks for moving on nicely I'm just tidying up all the kitchen getting all the stuff out the cupboard back into boxes this is like the how many times have we moved recently I mean since Georgia I've been together we've moved one two three four five six seven this will be our eighth move which is mad it appears we cannot stay still for very long so we're fairly used to moving but it's just like living in suitcases again um but it's all good it's all fun we never makes us feel like we're traveling again which is always good anyway massive progress has happened on the house the carpets are in and they're looking they're looking amazing they're a really nice light color it's similar to my jumper actually and I'll show you later floorings in I can't remember the last time we vlogged there but I've done all the painting it's all finished we've been cleaning painting all that good stuff in the last like week or so and and there was just this timeline because we needed to get it done before the carpets are in now the carpets are in so I feel a bit lost and a bit weird because now all this has to do is bring my stuff over um obviously there's stuff to do once we're in the house and we're getting the kitchen done later this year we're getting bathrooms done we're doing stuff in the garden driveway and all that kind of stuff the fact that we can move in and not be like Oh I'm going to the house we'll be in the house this is the best feeling um anyway I think this has been a fairly boring Vlog so far because George is eclipse at the beginning in the flat I've now done the clip in the flat um so yeah the next time we'll pick the camera up we'll be at the house hopefully and we'll show you guys um how it's looking give you a house update but for now I'm going to finish well I believe started I'm gonna carry on packing up the kitchen and get ready for the next load because George will be back soon with an empty car we're gonna load it up again he'll drive back over all good fun okay Dad did you know that that was your last ever nap in this flat if you're happy it's a big house we can have a nice big house and you can run around and play yeah it's okay should we sleep there tonight in your car we set your cot up for you and get all your toys out you can run around on the carpet yeah does that sound like we could go there that's it you've got a spaghetti bolognes all over your hands you can't touch the camera [Music] all right we've driven down to the beach gonna Brave this treacherous weather it is pretty cold I think fresh air yeah in a clear yes finally what it's been a while but I think it's going to be good for my illness I'm suffering with right now uh please leave comments of sympathy for me to read that will make me feel better yeah yeah it wasn't even a miracle you losing your quest the most peaceful experience um yes we are together this is the first time we've been out on a walk for it feels like months probably but we've just walked down to the beach um which doesn't look like it right now but across the road is the beach and it's a Sunday got Coda here who is just yawning bless him he's hopefully gonna have a little nap and we're gonna have a nice little Wonder oh there's a donut stand cheeky fresh donuts it's busy as well people don't seem to mind people people take their weekends very very seriously in the UK and if they would if they plan to comfortable they are going to come for a walk even if it's freezing cold and raining slightly which it is right now good fresh air though how nice finally I feel like we're reunited it kind of feels so weird that we're not spending the day separately super nice and I think the next Vlog you're going to see on the channel is coda's first birthday Vlog which is very exciting and I don't know quite where that year has gone but we have a one-year-old which is absolutely crazy anyway speaking of one-year-olds we're shouting in the camera and we're trying to get enough for a nap so we should probably put camera away so he can then slowly oh my God don't film because of the kids and stuff but the park that's behind me as we walk past when George and I were just friends we played in this park like played like we were adults but like you know when you're like like teenagers that are like hanging around at night yeah that's what that was us and we sat in that little box when it was raining oh yeah and this is like a very special Park to us with loads of our other friends it was just like before see we didn't we didn't have computers and things growing up so um we used to go outside and play but not play so when we were like teenagers we used to go outside and hang out too young to go into pubs too young to go into pubs and have a drink yeah is that too old to like be going to Parks so is that awkward there anyway should we talked to roast today it's a Sunday I mean if you want to cook a roast dinner um that's fine with me 99 coda [Music] successful tried to keep code to sleep as he was getting in the car but that's all good next up coffee shop so we are back in the car now what do we film coffee break yeah George quit his coffee we went to my mom's house to pick something up quickly and then went to Morrisons did a not even a food shop we just picked up a few bits because we're doing a meal prep at the moment in the week we only need to get like bits like fruit for Coda and a few bits to him Mama he really says Mama now mama mama mama you were so cheeky look at that cheeky face oh you're so cute mate can you say mama can you say mama mama can you say mama [Music] can you say mama you're so sweet oh my she crying great I'm crying again um oh honestly he's the cutest baby in the world I know we're bias but he is um quickly popped into Wix which is currently my second time because I'm constantly in there buying things for the house but because we've got some new doors going on we have got some door oil so this is we've got the doors are so lovely they're like a light oak color and we really don't wanna put like a shiny dark gloss on them because you have to like oil a door when it's like raw wood because you've got some like solid oak on the front of them because of that we don't want them to look like old and dark and like old-fashioned we want them to look a bit more modern and keep that kind of light color so this is a raw transparent matte oil so hopefully it's going to change the it's going to make them go darker but it's going to be better than having them completely raw and then like fingerprints get on them and stuff so we're going to get on that later once the doors are all in um but yeah for now oh and then I got a bulb I've bought this bulb for a light about eight times and I keep sending them back because I keep buying the wrong ones honestly George I think we spent like 30 pounds on trying to get this bowl actually ridiculous like more than the light cost and then I got some lint-free rags to put the oil on with and so exciting stuff really um but it was just nice to sort of spend the afternoon together and because the house is getting there now and there's less of a need for me to be there when other people are doing the work now if that makes sense anyway so I think we're going to end this video off here because there's not much else going on for us today and we're gonna get Cody home get him some dinner mama [Music] ah [Music] you blow kiss good boy
