Can We Travel Full Time with a Toddler?! Let's Find Out

[Music] thank you [Music] foreign [Music] I was about to say we have not done an announcement like this since 2018. yeah that huge one do you remember that feeling we had plans to film this announcement in a beautiful location which we are looking at but it's tipping it down with rain we're watching the camera this is supposed to be the British summer yeah comment below if you I mean I don't know if there's going to be any people who are still around from 2018 when we had maybe I think 6 000 subscribers and we put a video out announcing like that we were going to go off and do this basically things are changing dramatically we've been making videos in our spare time for two years now we've quit our full-time corporate jobs we're packing up the flat and selling everything we own it kind of feels the same it feels like 2.0 of That So Lisa and I have made we've been chatting over the last few months haven't we yeah I mean the whole year really it's hard we it's hard with what we do we can't plan too far ahead but at the same time we do have the flexibility to choose what we do with our year and our months and our weeks and stuff so anyway we are incredibly excited happy a little bit nervous so we have made the decision to leave the UK and go back to kind of full-time travel yes every day yeah Vlogs travel Vlogs every day multiple countries yes a lot of flights a lot of destinations with a one-year-old we're leaving our home we're leaving our house that we've just finished renovating packing a couple of suitcases and heading out on this like huge trip yes we do not have a ticket home we do not have a ticket back to the UK I don't have a ticket out there yet we still haven't even booked it we have not of course George and Lucy style we have not booked we're leaving very very very soon sooner than you're probably expecting this isn't like oh we're going next year this is like oh this is a few weeks like the next couple of Vlogs we're we're leaving see you later we're going to be probably should book a flight at least one in the first flight yeah Hanging On by a thread so good news the rain has stopped so we can actually get out for a second and enjoy this let me zoom out here beautiful British Countryside in this beautiful high coda in this beautiful British summer that we're experiencing what code according to give a day he went hi Dad yeah codo's grown up way too fast look at your Wellies oh can you get it Coda what what color are your Wellies no no yeah hello okay so we have to very carefully cross the road oh I nearly oh I've driven into like a grass Verge there thought I was in the Range Rover for a second all right let's try okay it is clear here we go here we go gotta get back in the uh vlogging vlogging everything spirit because yeah this is like it's huge for us like we had to make this decision we've had you can have a little run around good boy especially with this little guy but we just we spoke about like what we want out of life what we want for this channel what we want for ourselves what we want for Coda yeah that's it and I think for for US Travel is like what makes us Amaze excited it gets us in the best headspace it's a thing that we like live for the most besides coda and then him seeing that last summer in the Philippines we were both saying how he was just the happiest he's ever been the way he's just so excited by everything and he was being so adventurous and trying new things and if we can replicate that over lots of places and do like a bigger trip I think it's going to be amazing for all three of us like this is the best decision that we could be making right now we've got a lot to think about because should we go this way can you chase mummy he's so cheeky he's got the Footloose where are you going smile on his face laughs this looks really nice this looks like some kind of cinematic hazy Forest type situation yeah it's quite hazy going where is he going [Laughter] [Music] I'm gonna get you because we're going over multiple countries and multiple months we've got temperatures ranging from like 15 10 15 degrees Celsius to like 40. so we're gonna have to pack we're gonna have to park fairing that in mind um and normally when we go somewhere it's like just one temperature so yeah yeah 10 15 yeah wait wait Whispers where's fifth where's 15 degrees all right okay really okay all right let me lock the car left the car unlocked there we go security and safety first go can you run Coda can you run to Mummy go go go do you want to hold Daddy's Hand yeah coming in let's go oh you don't need my hand so yeah Lucy is absolutely right I think we feel the most ourselves when we're traveling we feel the happiest it is hard and it's gonna be hard uh harder with Coda because obviously we we're basically it's a very ambitious thing that we're trying to do loose and I are almost trying to go back not back we're moving forward we never moved back but we're trying to move into a place where we can create oh yeah we can create more travel videos we can see more places we can continue exploring the world like we were doing kind of pre-pandemic pre-coder we've done a lot of trips now with him they've all kind of been tester trips yeah to see if it's possible to do a big trip yes and we feel like it is so yeah this is happening it's happening very soon yeah the decision we even made yeah things are happening there's like when I tell you I've got the spreadsheet like it's the mother of all spreadsheets with they're really new things to do people to contact requirements for this you said things to do twice because there's so many things to do yeah um that's hilarious I don't even mean to say that and even things like if there's any covered requirements in any of the countries and if there's certain places where we need to get like to check those shops that are going to have snacks for Coda and then if there's like places with the right cow's milk for him and then for I don't know some flights we're doing overnight flights we don't need a hotel on that date so it's kind of like trying to line all these ridiculous things up it's just the longest list you've ever seen and you can't really start doing things until the first one's done because it's this like flow chart of things if that pulls through then we do this and then we do that then we do that um so it's a lot it's a huge amount of work and it's another reason why we have been uploading slightly less on the channel recently because we've been going to weekly uploads to allow us to have the time to plan this trip because we're about to go into daily Vlogs I think we're going to post every other day that a plan let us know in the comments if you think that's a good idea so we're gonna daily Vlog every day obviously daily and then upload every other day so they'll start to be a bit behind but there's just no way that you want a coffee what did you say did you say coffee yeah yeah start going coffee because we walked here yesterday I think for us there's no way we could upload daily that's not an option because if we did that we'd need like a full-time Nanny to come around with us we don't have that privilege okay okay you want to go that way all right okay we'll go that way he doesn't yet know there's a p-a-r-k over there no he doesn't yeah there's no way we can upload every day but we can definitely film we'll hopefully definitely film every day that's ambitious even that yeah it's a lot but we'll try that it's either a film every day and post every other day or it's film Every Other Day post every other day but then you're gonna miss half our trip so we'd rather film every day and upload every other day because then I think that means that we get a bit of time to be parents to edit to do laundry to do cooking and figure stuff out but also create fun videos um so fingers crossed that's the plan that's what's gonna happen and yeah it's just this crazy adventure coffee you want a coffee ah is when he wants to eat something like if I've got a dinner in front of me he starts going ah until I give him you know why that's because when we used to try and feed him and yeah we'd go ah like the game to open his mouth so he just copied it from us it's amazing what he copies now I think he's probably gonna start holding a camera up just when he's walking around because he sees us doing that so much yeah just let's just appreciate this for a second I know we're joking around about the British summer which I mean weather check yeah I mean you've got to appreciate God I appreciate the situation you're in like appreciate what you've got around you it says us who are then going to leave the UK and go traveling again so yes if you want to follow along little bit later now George is currently at the gym and I just made myself a coffee looking good nice Americano look at the crema on that very nice and yeah I've just been pottering getting some stuff sorted I've put some chicken in the slow cooker for George and I to have for lunch and like a late lunch because it will take a couple of hours I put it on a high heat but I put it in with them some like loads of spices and chilies and stuff it's going to be like a really spicy chicken I think I want to do it with some coconut rice and some broccoli so that'll be good and I'm just gonna make up coda's lunch as well they'll have when he wakes up from his nap we've had to child lock everything so I've got this little magnetic thing to put on the doors to unlock it it takes some getting used to because I keep being needing to get something out of a cupboard and like going to Yankee open and then realizing it's locked and then I've got to find this which we've actually cleverly kept on a little magnetic catch underneath here so technically if we put it back there every time we shouldn't lose it but I'm sure we will I think I'm gonna make Toyota some spinach French toast like with cheese inside so I'll show you that in a second and I've just got some nice like spa music on I'm just trying to chill out a bit it's a Friday here trying to wind down into the weekend it's been a really really busy week but I've put this in the um what's it called the like a wax melt burner I picked it up at Tesco's it's incredible it's chocolate orange flavor candle wax and and it just smells so good it's more orangey than chocolatey but it's got that little hint of chocolate and it just smells amazing and it's the first of September here but yeah I'm just trying to keep on top of things around the house because having a boyfriend or fiance I should say having a fiance who eats a lot and a toddler who eats a lot and myself who eats a lot I feel like I'm constantly cooking but I do love it especially now I've got our kitchen all sorted yeah I'm super achy today I had the gym yesterday and I've managed to deadlift 85 kilograms which is a lot more than my body weight so I'm really feeling it um but yeah I wanted to document that because maybe like in the future when I watch this Vlog back maybe I'll be lifting like 150 kilograms and I'll be like wow that's when I just got 85 but I was quite pleased with that that's a personal best for me really excited that we've now told you about project Roy as well and we're going to be like revealing the destinations as well soon but it's nice to actually be able to talk about it instead of it being this like what is Roy what is your secret I'm gonna quickly whiz up some eggs and spinach in the NutriBullet with some milk and I'll use that as like the coating to make the French toast green and then I'm going to stuff it with cheese and then fry it [Music] thank you so you'll probably eat all of this for his lunch when he wakes up I've done half with pesto and cream cheese inside and half with like extra mature cheddar cheese and then I've made doubles so I've got some spares who have this maybe tomorrow for lunch as well um but yeah it's quite fun green food why not Hulk Hulk French toast I'll call it and tonight it's Friday which means takeaway night for George and I I think we're thinking of Curry tonight we haven't had a curry in a while from an Indian restaurant Indian curry I feel like in England you just say have a curry you assume Indian curry but there's actually like loads of different curries in the world um so yeah Indian takeaway tonight and my mum baked her famous chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream and Cadbury's dairy milk chocolate buttons around the side and I think I'm gonna have that for pudding because once a week we are unhealthy Friday evening is usually that day and yeah that's a very exciting prospect I've got that to look forward to later skin is looking good as well whoa got chilies and onions and stuff in there and hopefully that'll be done soon and then I'll get started on some coconut rice but I love cooking cooking is one of my favorite things to do and I mean I have to love it because I do it three times a day or more okay code is this woken up the reason I know you woke up is my phone went off and started to get I started to hear [Music] which is belly button so buttons where's been but but and ear is belly apparently so eat that bar and he's just like touching his belly button and laughing um so yeah I better go and get him [Music] thank you [Music] foreign [Music] if maybe you missed the last couple of Vlogs I wanted to give a little bit of an update on our Invisalign our teeth our teeth transformation Journey because it's been going very very well you may have seen I always feel like I'm doing an interview when I sit here I feel like it's quite a nice uh formal setup but anyway if you have seen the Vlogs you've seen that Lucy and I have been going up to love teeth dental up in Sutton Dr cable whoops destroying the house Dr KP and his team there have been working with Lucy and I again to give us the best smile possible I guess but whilst keeping our natural teeth as natural as possible so I just wanted to check in with the progress because we are now on our third trays and we've had a lot of comments and people even in real life off the Vlogs are family and friends and things and not even noticed that we're wearing the braces and I think this is a new trailer I put in a couple of days ago so every week your mouth kind of has to readjust to the new trade because we're on a seven week thing the trays each week obviously change and then the final trays are how your teeth are going to look how straight they're going to be so it slowly moves your teeth but such a good experience so far we've put our full trust in Dr KP at love teeth He is unbelievable with what he does not just with us but some of the Transformations the more dramatic Transformations on his website and Instagram are just insane and we've obviously known him now since 2018 when we first got our teeth whitened with him so yeah just wanted to kind of let you know how it's going because we've had some comments on the first kind of couple of Vlogs where we were up there either I'm thinking of Invisalign or I'm thinking of some dental treatment if you are in the area I mean not even in the area if you are in the UK and you need specialist then to work or you're thinking of some transformative cosmetic stuff he does bonding as well definitely do the love Thief then definitely do consider love teeth they have the juicy blog stamp of approval and I think I mean you can't really probably see them there this Invisalign is so cool I was someone who really didn't want to have kind of like the train track races just personal preference so this has been such a good option so yeah I just wanted another quick shout out to love teeth because they've sorted us out with the treatment and it's going very well in terms of pain and uncomfortableness uncomfort that's the proper word to use I have not experienced any pain at all we have to chew on these kind of sticks as the day goes on sometimes on the new tray you bite in a certain area and you feel a little bit and you're like okay that is where the change is happening but day to day I wake up don't even remember that I've got the trays in going throughout the day just take them out to eat so we can still drink coffee the tips that Dr KP gave us is apparently a little bit different to some of the other the way other clinics do things as well so I'm very very happy just wanted to give that a little update also going to leave the love teeth website in the description and after this after the straightening we're then doing some whitening again so after the whole process Lucy and I should have beautiful bright white straight perfect teeth because they take you through that Journey that transformation step by step so we're very excited to see the final results then we're going to be able to put like a before and after in the Vlogs the before and after from our whitening last time was crazy it was just before we went traveling for the first time and it was so good and it has lasted our teeth are still way whiter than they used to be now but we're just having like a top up um so yeah looking by the way I don't think I filmed any of that before um but then I just filmed while we were there so you're probably thinking why you want a farm we went to somewhere called pick your own which we've been going to a lot recently because there's a free tractor ride that Coda loves a huge Open Fields that are safe the code I should run around in and you can also pick loads of nice fruit and veg which we love to cook with so we got some corn which it was so sweet Coda made a little friend and they were just walking through the cornfields together very cute and then we've got one beetroot because I don't love beetroot but I like to make go to beetroot pancakes so they're like bright pink so I got him a beetroot and then I got some raspberries not too many but we've got a whole fridge full of plums at the moment because we went to Victoria and the other day and got plunged and then we got a big planet of strawberries and we need to have we need to obviously be able to get through it all before it goes off and then a big bag of carrots so we've got some yellow carrots or muddy and some orange carrots and that's it but a good haul and a very nice time and I understand I did but it was really fun I love taking coat of some places on my own I think it's just so fun the two of us is going around and doing little things together and chatting um so yeah exhausted but content glorious sunlight in the evening would you look at that beautiful what contrast from how this day started a few hours have passed now since we last picked up the camera Lucy as you saw took Coda to the farm picked your own tractor ride he loves it Lucy did cut his dinner got him into bed I had a one-to-one call with one of my clients that I'm doing a bit of social media mentoring with but now guys star of the show the star of the week as another week draws to a close and as Lucy mentioned often on a Friday night we order takeout from ubereats and it has just arrived I feel like I've filmed this shot so many times I'm going to show you our takeaway oh look at that bread that looks unbelievable so here we have it we've got some tikka masala some korma some onion bhajis they're looking crispy some naan bread my job is to choose something on Netflix or Amazon or BBC iPlayer or something oh what a week this week has gone so so fast any recommendations actually of anything you're
