into the tutorial. Golden interview tip number one is to make sure you research the company.
This is so important. Now, if you research the company you are being interviewed to join before
your interview, it tells the hiring manager two things. Firstly, it tells them that you are an
organized and professional person who prepares for important things in advance. Secondly, it tells
them you are genuinely interested in working for them and that you care about the company you work
for. This means you are more likely to stay working for them for the long term. So, whenever you
research a company before an interview, follow them on social media and take note of their latest
posts. Visit their website about us page and have a look at their history. And finally, take a look
at their products and services to see what good things people are saying about them online. Now,
all of this useful information will help you to answer the two interview questions. Why do you
Golden interview tip number two is to make sure you dress smart and professionally for your
interview. Now, sometimes on this YouTube channel, people say that I'm a throwback to the 1970s.
And whilst I was actually born in 1971, I still have the same high standards that I had when I
was a firefighter many years ago. Having high standards is just one way you can really stand
out from the competition at your job interview. If you wear a smart and professional outfit,
it sends a visual message to the hiring manager that you care, that you take pride in your
appearance, and that you will be a positive role model for their company. So, don't listen to what
anyone else tells you, but instead, make sure you dress professionally for your interview. Now,

hand corner of the video, head through to my website, PassMyInterview.com, and you can instantly
download my full set of 30 brilliant answers to tough interview questions. Let's get back to those
tips. Golden interview tip number three is to write down a list of your strengths before you
attend your interview. This is a great one. Now, a brilliant way to prepare for your interview
is to write down a list of your five greatest strengths. By writing down your strengths, it
focuses the mind on what you are good at doing, and also how you are going to add value to their
organization in the role. Also, by writing down your top five strengths, it will allow you to
easily answer the interview question, what are your greatest strengths, and also what can you bring to
the role. Golden interview tip number four is to consider your biggest weakness. Now, I can guarantee
you will have to answer the interview question, what's your biggest weakness during your job
interview? Do not say you don't have any weaknesses, and do not say your biggest weakness
is the fact you are a perfectionist. Both of these answers will score zero points with the interviewer.
Instead, give a weakness that is not a match for the job you have applied for. Now, three examples
of good weaknesses to give in a job interview are, number one, not being good yet at public speaking
or giving talks to large groups of people. Number two, finding it hard to let go of projects, or
number three, being too hard on yourself or too self-critical. Golden interview tip number five
is to make sure you get your answer ready to the first interview question, tell me about yourself.
Now, right at the very start of your job interview, the hiring manager is going to say to you,
welcome to the interview, please start off and tell me about yourself. Now, it is imperative that
you create a positive first impression and you demonstrate good manners in your answer, because
this will then give you confidence for the rest of your interview. Let me now give you a brilliant
example answer to the tell me about yourself interview question in a live interview that is
perfect for all job roles. Here we go. Tell me about yourself. Thank you for giving me the opportunity
to be interviewed for this position today with your company. I have numerous strengths that match
the job description and that will help to add value to your company. I am a great organizer
and planner of my work, a very fast learner, and someone who collaborates seamlessly with anyone
in a team. I am motivated in life by being fit and healthy, which means my concentration and
energy levels are always high, and I want to do a great job for my employer, because then that
means I can support my family and we can realize our goals. I have a track record of achievement.
Not only did I achieve excellent educational qualifications, but I also helped my last
employer to boost sales by recommending they should promote their products and services
on social media. The reputation I have is positive and friends and co-workers would always describe me
as someone who is trustworthy, loyal, hardworking, and someone who takes ownership of difficult
challenges. If you hire me, I will be the type of person who will always look to improve and develop,
and I will always be a positive role model for your company. Golden interview tip number six is
to take a copy of your resume or CV along with you to your job interview. This is a great one.
So again, I can pretty much guarantee the interviewer will ask you to walk them through
your resume or CV near the start of your job interview. Now, if you don't have your resume or
CV with you, this will be really difficult to do. However, if you take it along with you in a smart
presentation folder, it shows you are organized and prepared, and then you don't have to remember
its contents. Golden interview tip number seven is to make sure you have at least one greatest
achievement to talk about in your job interview. Now, this is a brilliant tip for job interview
success. At some stage during your interview, you will probably have to answer the interview question,
what's your greatest or proudest achievement? Now, the reason this question is being asked by the
hiring manager is because they want to see if you have a track record of achievement, because if you
are a high achiever, you will probably replicate the same success for their company in the role.
Now, good examples of greatest achievements include getting outstanding exam results,
helping a previous employer increase sales or win a lucrative sales contract, winning a sporting
event, or even helping raising money for charity. Golden interview tip number eight is to make sure
you have a plan in place of what to say if you cannot answer one of the interview questions.
Now, if you can't answer one of the interview questions, it doesn't mean you are going to fail.
However, it is important to know what you are going to do and say if a question does come up
that you really cannot answer. So, you basically have two options if you can't answer an interview
question. Let's take a look at them. Option number one is to ask the interviewer if you can come back
to the question at the end of your interview. This then gives you some time to think of an answer,
and the chances are they will probably forget to ask you the question again anyway. And option
number two, you can tell the interviewer you will research the answer when you get home from the
interview, and you will then email them with your response. Golden interview tip number nine is to
have three great questions to ask at the end of your job interview. Now, right at the very end of
your job interview, the hiring manager will say to you, that's the end of the interview, do you have
any questions for us? Now, the questions you ask could really be the difference between a pass or a
fail. If you ask questions about time off, perks of the job, or even about their staff turnover rate,
you could end up harming your chances of success. So, let me now give you three smart questions to
ask at the end of your interview that will definitely impress the hiring manager. Question
number one, what are the plans for the company over the next five to ten years? This is a great
one to ask. Now, this question tells the interviewer you plan to stay working there for a long time,
which is a good thing, because they then won't have to re-advertise the post, and they can benefit
from your experience. Question number two, what advice would you give to the successful candidate
who wants to excel in the role? So, this question tells the interviewer you are open to feedback
and learning. And question number three, can you tell me more about the team I would be a part of
in the role? Now, this question tells the interviewer you understand the importance of teamwork
and collaborative working. Golden interview tip number ten is to make sure you send a follow-up
email after the job interview. This is a great one. Now, once you get back home from your job
interview, send a follow-up email to the company thanking them for the opportunity to be interviewed
for the position. Now, this is a smart thing to do because it serves two purposes. Number one,
it demonstrates good manners. Number two, it puts you at the forefront of the hiring manager's mind
immediately after the interviews have finished. Let me now give you an example follow-up email
script you can use when you get home from your job interview. Dear sir, madam, thank you for giving me
the opportunity to be interviewed today for the position with your company. I thoroughly enjoyed
meeting you and finding out more about the organization. I would very much like the
to work for your company to show you what I am capable of in the role. And if you need any further
details or information, please do not hesitate to get in touch. I look forward to hearing from you
in due course. Yours faithfully, insert your name. So, the next thing to do if you want to make sure
