Unexpected FILIPINO Kindness on CHRISTMAS (this made me emotional) | Nellyslife

I am not spending Christmas with my family this year [Music] so thank you so much for giving me company and enjoying this with me [Music] together [Music] it's Christmas time and it is about 40° welcome to Manila I'm currently on my way to Christmas parade I tried to work a grab but there are no grabs available during Christmas time so now I'm working right here from BBC to McKinley Hill to see the Christmas parade so yeah this is it aome I'm in my home bright and as you can see there is quite a contrast between BGC on this side and pimo the neighboring neighborhood on the other side quite something Christmas traffic is in full PS as you can see so yeah it's really really difficult to get any transportation sort that unfortunately I don't have a car this time so walking it is it's going to be good for me but woo it's going to be a 30 minute walk wish me [Music] Lu okie dokie I made it to McKinley Hill it was super super hot I am sweaty and thirsty so I'm going to have some water at 7-Eleven forgot my Tumbl but yeah quite a difference with the neighborhood huh y that is Manila opted for the snack and got myself a Gatorade for some electrolytes let me just put to you there we go one piece of advice when you visit Manila first of all keep in mind that Christmas traffic is crazy I mean it's moving here but in the front nothing is moving and usually during the Christmas parade you just have to plan ahead and make sure you arrive early this is the first Christmas parade after the pandemic and of course people want to see it of course people want to get into the Christmas spirit even I want to see it even though it means that I have to work but I mean it was a 25 minute walk oh Hello Kitty hi Merry Christmas yes H and yeah I'm so excited I'm so excited that is the reason why I actually came to the Philippines to just experience the Christmas spirit because I'm not going off for Christmas this year and yeah it makes me sad so I wanted to come to my second home and in Christmas in case you're wondering n do you actually feel safe walking around in that area on and the answer is yes I always keep my eyes open what's happening around me always be aware where you're walking hold eye contact try to see what other people are up to and here in BDC everything is safe we have safety guards here there my dog making sure everything is all right we have a lot of security guards here so security is a big thing here so yeah and there are traffic enforces to ensure that everything is all right with traffic [Music] okay I found a spot right next to the road here everybody else and wait until the parade passes by are you guys excited for the parade yeah yeah have you seen it before no no first time wow it's the first time I've seen it before it's really nice yeah it's super super nice I'm so excited okay I made some new friends here so we're all sitting together waiting for the Christmas parade to start I have 1 2 3 4 5 more subscribers now Filipino time yeah yep okay we changed our spot so we can see the Venice Grand Canal mall and the parade is coming from this side this is our current view we so excited it has been almost 35 minutes we've been waiting so yeah come on Christmas parade I can hear it we're excited we are excited no Christmas parade yet okay little update it's 6:41 the parade is actually moving but there's also a bus so they I don't know like the organization this year is not what I'm used to they say they're going to close up the road and yeah all of a sudden they buses driving and uh scooter and not and we're still waiting right yeah it's been forever it's been forever not forever not forever but feels like forever yeah yeah we woke up so early just to see this and also something that I realized it's not there's no music that accompanies the parade which is a little bit sad because it's a it's a quiet parade [Music] [Applause] there's a million lights hanging on the tree oh they shine so bright on the Evergreen beside you the way they light you and the fire is burning just like my heart so I make it a wish on the men that star you see me oh you will re see me have been waiting all give for this wait is over finally the Christmas parade has started it's really good um it's a little bit far apart that's the only thing that I have to mention but otherwise all smiles and lter and Good Times okay guys how was it it was amazing it was amazing amazing okay fun sure it was fun it was fun okay especially the fireworks and the music the fireworks good yeah I love it high five nice little Christmas
