Today I'm going to tell you a story of Shani Dev, in which you will meet your Lord Shiva.
Narayan, Narayan, Narad Muni went to Lord Shiva and said,
Shani Dev is coming towards you, he wants to cast an evil eye on you.
Lord Shiva said, Shani will cast an evil eye on me?
I will go to such a place and hide that I won't be able to meet Shani Dev.
For 7 and a half years, Lord Shiva went to Ganga and sat there in meditation.
After 7 and a half years, Lord Shiva came out, went to Shani Dev and said,
I will go to such a place and hide that you won't be able to find me.
Shani Dev smiled, joined his hands and said,
O Lord, in such a cold weather, you sat in the water for 7 and a half years,
holding your breath, that was my 7 and a half years of suffering.
And Lord Shiva said, Oops.
So this is a story where you understand that even God can't escape from Shani Dev's vision.
Everyone has been given powers and whoever has the power,
he is the most skilled in it.
And everyone respects the power and influence of others.
So now we have told you the story of Shani, in which Lord Shiva was also there.
Now we will tell you the story of one Lord Shiva,
but that story of Lord Shiva is less and the story of Lord Ganesha is more.
So once in childhood, Ganesha and Karthik fought with each other.
They were very young.
The fight was about who was more powerful.
Karthik said, I am more powerful.
And Lord Ganesha said, no one can match me in strength.
These two fought and reached their parents, Lord Shiva and Parvati.
They were sitting in their place.
When they came to know this, Lord Shiva and Parvati said,
do one thing, both of you sit on your vehicles and go around the earth three times.
The one who completes the circumambulation three times and reaches us first,
he will win on this point.
Both of them left.
Karthik sat on his peacock and left immediately.
Lord Ganesha was left, whose vehicle was a rat.
But then a wonderful thing happened in Karthik's journey.
Wherever Karthik goes, while traveling the earth,
while doing the circumambulation,
the footprints of the rat are already there.
In the first round, the footprints of the rat.
In the second round, the footprints of the rat,
one more complete circumambulation of the rat.
Karthik was worried that he couldn't see anywhere on the way.
And a rat and fat Ganesha,
how is it moving ahead of me and my peacock?
When Karthik completed the three rounds and reached Lord Shiva and Parvati,
he saw Lord Ganesha sitting there with his rat.
So Karthik asked, how did this happen?
How did you win this race?
Then Lord Ganesha, who is the God of intelligence,
told him that he completed the three rounds of Parvati and Lord Shiva,
because of which his three rounds of the earth were completed before Karthik.
This is also a story of the reason for the circumambulation of Lord Shiva and Lord Shiva's idol.
We have seen a lot of snakes and snakes.
But there is also a story in the Puranas,
where did the snakes come from for the first time?
This is a story.
There were wives of Rishi Kashyap.
One wife's name was Kadru,
and the other wife's name was Vinta.
These people used to help Rishi Kashyap in all his worship and penance.
One day, Rishi Kashyap said to both of them,
you people help me so much in all my worship and penance,
you do my service,
what boon have you asked for?
In the boon, Kadru asked for 100 eggs.
He said, I want 100 such children who are very powerful,
and who have poison,
who people are afraid of.
Kashyap said,
Tathastu said,
Kadru got 100 eggs.
All of them were kept in separate bags to roast,
so that they can hatch,
so that they can hatch when the time comes.
Now it was Vinta's turn.
Vinta said,
even if you give me less children,
but I want more powerful children than the children of Kadru.
Rishi Kashyap said,
Tathastu,
he got two big eggs.
Those two big eggs were also kept to roast,
so that when the time came,
an entire child came out of it.
These 100 small eggs,
they started hatching one by one,
when the time came,
and different snakes started coming out of it.
One of them is Vasuki,
who is in the neck of Lord Shiva.
Sheshnag,
and all the other powerful snakes,
whose names are in our Puranas,
are all children of Kadru.
When all these eggs were hatching one by one,
and one by one,
a snake was coming out,
Vinta,
who was Kadru's sister,
she became impatient.
She thought,
this is happening to me,
why is this not happening to me?
And when she couldn't take it anymore,
she hatched one of her own eggs.
The child that came out of that egg,
had a half body above it,
and a half body below it,
which was still being hatched.
But because she hatched the egg before time,
this was left incomplete.
When she came out,
she was so angry,
and she said,
I won't stay with you,
because you didn't let me complete.
And she went up.
Now, Vinta,
very patiently,
started waiting
for her second egg to hatch.
When the second egg hatched,
the thing that came out of it,
was Garun.
Who is Garun?
Garun is Vishnu's vehicle.
And the brother of Garun,
who had already gone up,
who doesn't have a body below,
his name is Arun.
Who is Arun today?
The seven horses of Suryadev,
their chariot,
the charioteer of that chariot,
is Vishnu's vehicle,
Garun's brother Arun.
So, Arun is Suryadev's charioteer,
and Garun is Vishnu's vehicle.
And Kadru,
means all the snakes,
and Vinta's sons,
Garun and Arun,
these two,
are the children of two sisters,
and they have a lot of enmity.
Garun can't stand next to the snakes,
and the snakes hate Garun a lot.
They hate him.
So, this is the story of Garun's birth,
and the first time a snake came to earth.
