MP Costas Menegakis's Speech at the 33rd Falun Dafa Anniversary

"Good afternoon, everybody. My pleasure to be here with you today, to join you in this wonderful celebration. Happy Falun Dafa Day, it's fantastic that you're all here. The last time I was at the celebration, I believe was 2015 that took me another 10 years to get elected, to get back in this place. And I'm delighted to be here with all of you. We're here the home of democracy for our country, where you can celebrate, when you can meditate and when you can have your faith and your beliefs without risk of any kind, because here in Canada, your voice counts, who you vote for, who you pray for, how you meditate. That's a personal right that you have, and we have the right here in the home of democracy, to celebrate anytime, any day of the year. So welcome to Parliament Hill. Thank you for coming here once again. It's beautiful to see so many people from Montreal, from Ottawa, from Toronto, gathering here to celebrate this, the 33rd Falun Dafa day, right here, the anniversary in the nation's capital. Thank you so very, very much. As many of you know, I've been around for a while. I'm a good friend and a big supporter. So thank you all. Thank you once again for the kind invitation to join you.
