MP Melissa Lantsman's Speech at the Falun Dafa 33rd Anniversary #SupportFalunDafa

"You have many, many, many friends in the conservative caucus. And I want to join my voice to James, to Dan, to all of my caucus colleagues, Michael, who came earlier, and look, we don't want to celebrate this under the threat and the intimidation of the regime in Beijing, and we know that there is one party that will continue to stand with you stand against that oppression in the House of Commons, and that's the Conservative Party. We will do that this year, and we will do that every single year. Look, I know that. I know that the Falun Dafa, the movement, everything that you are a part of, adds to each and every one of our communities, not only with volunteerism and fundraising and all of the good that you do in the community, but but the but by the tolerance and the benevolence and the and the forbearance that you preach every single day. And I think that you can teach a number of people in Ottawa to live in that way here as we fight against the the impression, and we fight against those who want to diminish our way of life, and we look to you for for guidance and for inspiration. Every single day, I'm always proud to add my voice to yours. I'm proud to stand with you. I'm proud to stand up for you on Parliament Hill, and I will continue to do that with my voice from the people of Thornhill and as we, as we move forward into what the future brings in Canada. So thank you very much. I'm excited to celebrate here with you today and every year going forward, it is not my first year. It won't be my last. I think I've been coming here for almost 2020, years in one way or another, so I'll continue to be coming back and celebrating with you. Thank you very much. "
