Young Mother Leopard Raising Her Cub in the Kgalagadi

After spending an absolutely incredible week with the stunning Nonisa female leopard and her cub, we decided to put together a short documentary of our experience, filmed during late October 2021 while we were based at Nossob Camp, Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.

She is a young leopard of around 3 and a half years old and from what we observed she is a very patient, nurturing and protective mother, spending alot of time grooming and playing with the cub. Her cub which was recently named Nosi is most likely from her first litter.
