Do Cheetah Cubs Dream. Cute Baby Cat Falls Asleep & Runs Eats Plays In His Sleep

Volunteering at Cheetah Experience, took the opportunity to record the behavior of two five month old Cheetah cubs falling asleep. Cheetah cubs dream even at a younger age.

Comparing Cheetah cubs at this age to Leopards and African Wild Cats, I notice a stark difference in play patterns. Where Cheetah cubs do a LOT of running, the other ambush predator cubs stalk, leap, hide and run at you; looking to attack things. A Cheetah is designed to RUN and that is what they practice instinctually as cubs. That is the trait that will serve them best when adult. Out Run Anything on four paws. They play fight too but mostly run like you see here.
