We saw this adoption event going on. The dog was really taking to her and she had this instant connection. I reminded her after a few minutes that we needed to get going and we had other errands to run, and she just wanted to stay there. I asked the volunteers if we could take him out for a little bit. My children all instantly were like, I love him, we want him. He's so mellow. It wasn't long later that we signed the adoption papers and brought him home. We later found out that Bruno was actually not a stray. He was surrendered and this was his second time being surrendered. My daughter and him just have a connection that I haven't seen before. I truly do believe he is her soul dog. They snuggle at night. She puts a blanket on him and she plays dog music for him. He just can't keep up with her. He's always following her and it's the cutest thing. She's in track and so she likes to run. She'll take him for runs sometimes. We go on family walks every day. I don't know if he was around kids a lot or not, but now he is. We have four kids, so he's getting a lot of attention and playtime. I don't know a lot about his past, but I do think that the fact that he has been surrendered a couple times, it must not have been the easiest, and we're really grateful to have him in our home. You are the most loyal dog.
