This is a short action movie written and produced by Norwich HEMA Society in an attempt to create a fight scene using authentic historical longsword fighting techniques, including half swording, pommel strikes and grappling. It was also inspired by the “Knight of Hope” by Andorea, and "Fiore" by AM productions, which had a big influence on us, and set the bar for how armoured fighting and choreography could and should be depicted.
I'm going to kill him!
Our families have been neighbours since the days of William I.
Yet, we have been fated to be constantly caught up in their scheming and devious machinations.
Finally, after this most recent affair, I must act and stand alone against his challenge.
It will be a one-on-one fight, but I'm sure God is on my side, and I must prevail.
I have ended this knave. Finally, our bitter rivalry is finished.
Honour has been preserved, and our feud is no more.
