“Being nice” and “being kind” often get used interchangeably, but they are actually very different.

The focus of being nice is on yourself, the focus of being kind is on others.

Jesus said
“Do to others as you would have them do to you.”
So when you’re kind to others, you’re actually showing them how you would like to be treated.

Be kind. Be human. Be humankind.
