Opportunities for Growth: Despite the challenges, this transit offers a chance for profound personal growth. By facing inner fears and embracing change, individuals can harness the transformative energy of this opposition.
Practical Advice: Steve suggests grounding techniques, self-reflection, and conscious decision-making to navigate this intense period effectively.
Hi world, it's Thursday, the 17th of April, 2025.
And as you can see from behind me,
I'm doing a video today
on the upcoming Mars-Pluto opposition,
which will be exact in nine days' time,
but is well within range now,
and there's gonna be a lot of big changes
in this next five or six days.
But first, I wanna take 30 seconds of your time.
As all of you will be no doubt sick of hearing from me
by now I'm doing this big gig in two weeks' time.
Shifts happen with Rick Levine, Penny Thornton,
Nick Campion, Alexis Trenaut.
So as of today, I am delighted to make a first announcement
to everyone that from this moment on,
we are going to be streaming the event.
We'll be live streaming it and tickets are available now.
Go to the link beneath this video.
And if you wanna have a virtual front row seat
at Shifts Happen, this can happen.
There are only a limited number
of streaming tickets available at the moment.
We may be able to make more happen depending on demand.
And for all of my wonderful friends and viewers
in America and Australia
and the other inconvenient time zones,
we will use those links to let you watch the recording
after the event for a limited time only.
Okay, back to the video.
This is Mars opposite Pluto,
but Mars and Pluto are Roman names.
I've been looking at this and I'm thinking,
this is more like Thor from the Norse
versus Hades from the Greek.
Thor's a god of thunder and lightning
and Hades rules the underworld.
Now the previous two oppositions of Mars and Pluto,
Mars first opposed Pluto at 29 degrees
of Cancer and Capricorn in the first week of November, 2024.
Mars then went retrograde and opposed Pluto again
in the first week of January
at about one, maybe two degrees of Leo and Aquarius.
And now Mars is about to move back into Leo
in the next 24 hours.
And it's going to oppose Pluto on the 26th,
late in the evening UK time,
at three and a half degrees of Leo,
three and a half degrees of Aquarius.
Now I'm gonna look at the meaning of this,
but first of all, I wanna draw your attention
to the previous two Mars-Pluto oppositions
because I'm asking you to look at
what was going on in the world
in the first week of November, 2024.
And how did that relate to further events
in very early January, 2025?
These are the two times
of the previous Mars-Pluto oppositions.
And now we're at the third.
So it seems to me that the events
of this coming seven, eight, nine, 10 days
through to the end of April
are in many ways summing up
what's been going on in the world collectively
since both early November and early January.
Now the nature of Mars opposite Pluto
is actually very challenging indeed.
Mars is about action, projective, assertive,
violent, aggressive, bravery, heroism,
courage, violence, aggression, conflict.
Pluto deals with the underworld.
It deals with intensity and extremes,
compulsion and obsession, fear, phobia, paranoia,
but it also deals with purging and detoxing,
cleansing, purifying, and eliminating,
as well as transformation, regeneration, and rebirth.
So to have Mars, the god of war,
but also the capacity for being dynamic,
projective, and assertive
in a kind of thunder and lightning position in Leo
opposite Pluto, the lord of the underworld,
in early Aquarius, it seems to me
that there's a lot of endings coming up
in the short-term future.
Now I'm deliberately not using the word death
because I don't think it is a death
as in the conventional sense of understanding that word.
But I do feel that before the end of April
there's going to be one or two startling surprises
in the world that's going to shake,
shake the foundations of the world
as we know it at the moment.
In this last six months, since early November of last year,
there's been a great deal of hype and spin.
And it all seems as if a bubble's about to burst,
but it's not gonna burst like boom, an explosion.
It's gonna burst more like homeopathic laser.
There's going to be some type of sharp,
incisive development in the next few days
that's gonna both shock the world
and release the pressure, release the steam.
Now, this could happen in a number of areas.
It could be militaristic, economic, political, financial,
and it could be none of these things.
It could be directly happening to individual,
well, it's gonna be happening to individuals.
I mean, anybody born around the, I don't know,
22nd, 23rd, 24th of July,
or the 20th through to the 22nd, 23rd of January,
well, you're right in the firing line on this one.
And it's incisive, direct, acerbic, sharp to the point.
Now, it'd be very easy for a lot of people
to start pointing fingers and casting blame
because it's far easier to blame someone else
than to deal with your own, almost swore there,
your own problems.
But that's exactly what needs to be done now.
We need to look at ourselves and ask ourselves,
are we actually dealing with our own stuff
or are we projecting it on some type of receptive figure,
invisible enemy?
This is the end of a six-month cycle,
which has been overseeing, if you like,
the transition of all the planets at the end of Pisces,
the end of the Piscean Age,
the start of the Age of Aquarius.
As we get into early May,
Mars and Pluto begins to pull apart
and we enter a whole different energy field.
That's not to say it's gonna be easier,
but it's not going to be as intense and extreme
because the nature of Mars, Pluto can be,
on the negative side, incredibly destructive,
implosive as much as explosive.
It can be surgically sharp and acute
and it can be very, very targeted
at a particular place, time, energy, or person.
At a neutral level, Mars opposite Pluto
creates a great deal of stamina,
resilience, endurance, perseverance.
The right thing will get done,
or at least the right thing in certain people's eyes.
If I were to put a positive spin on this,
because there's always a positive,
Mars opposite Pluto in fixed signs
as the finale to what's been going on
for the last six months
is going to be some type of breakthrough
instead of breakdown.
And in many ways, it's going to liberate us
from the morass, the density, and the pressure
that's been around since the start of November.
I'm not in the habit of advising
politicians and world leaders,
but if I were, I would be saying
that over the period for the next nine days,
I would take caution
in exposing myself to too much risk
because something's coming
and it'd be easy for one person
to take the brunt of it all.
Don't want this to happen.
As we get into the end of April
and Mars Pluto finishes
and begins to fade into the background,
not to come back again for nearly a couple of years,
then we can all breathe a lot deeper.
Now, there's lots of stuff coming up later in the year
in early June, in mid-August, in mid-September,
and this is all the prelude
to what's happening in early 26.
And I'm on record as having said,
this is the most concentrated and compressed time
of change in human history, and I still stick to that.
But this last six months has been really intense
and it's been forcing us into a corner,
shoehorning us into the narrow end of the pencil sharpener.
And now we're gonna see some type of resolution.
But in the very short-term future, be cautious,
especially if you've got planets
in the first three or four degrees of the fixed signs,
Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius.
This period from now through to the end of April
is volatile.
It is, I use the word risky a lot
because I don't like using the word dangerous,
but this is dangerous.
So I guess I'm appealing for everyone
to actually use their common sense,
which is not anywhere near as common as we might like.
By the time we're into early May,
it all begins to calm down.
And early May is where I'm doing shifts happen.
And we're gonna be in a,
there's people coming from 19 different countries now.
We're gonna be in a great position
to sort the world out from there.
Just be cautious in the next few days, folks.
Take care now, be good, bye.
