We are a married couple who spend our time touring or camping. We named the Shua Tabi Channel with the idea of traveling with our beloved dog, Shua😊
Hello everyone, it's Shota.
Today I'm going on a road trip to Australia.
It's been 6 nights, and today is the day to return the rental car.
I would like to introduce the equipment of the camping car we rented.
First of all, this camping car.
I rented a camping car from a manufacturer called Apollo.
Among them, the types are Apollo, Euro, and Quest.
It's a four-seater camping car.
I think it's the biggest of the four-seaters.
The length is about 7 meters in total.
The height is 3.6 meters.
I don't think it's possible to enter the basement of a supermarket.
If you don't pay attention to that, you'll end up scratching the roof.
So be careful.
I'm going to fill up the gasoline from here.
I'd like to show you the interior.
There are four gas stoves.
It has a glass top plate, so you can put your luggage in the car without any problems.
It also has a range hood and electricity, so you can use it in the car without any worries.
It also has an oven-like function like a grilled fish, so you can cook various dishes.
This is the water area.
You can use the space without any problems.
There's plenty of water, but if you use it all the time, you'll run out of water in the tank.
In this way, you can lower the water line and close the glass lid on top, so you can drive safely.
This is the refrigerator.
It's big enough for four people.
I bought a lot of seasonings on the first day, and I decided to buy them once every two days.
And the square box on the top left.
This is a freezer, so you can buy ice cream and store it.
The refrigerator works with a sub-battery, so you can continue to use it even if you don't have an external power supply.
Also, this camping car has a lot of storage, so there was no problem at all.
It also has a microwave that can be used with an external power supply.
You can store sweets and seasonings in this shelf.
The cutlery was also fully equipped, and there was nothing to buy at all.
There are a lot of pots and pans available.
In addition to wine glasses, mug cups and glass cups were also available.
We don't use the toilet and shower in the car, so I can't tell you how it feels, but there's no problem with the cleanliness.
I was really scared of the smell of the toilet, and I didn't want to use it, so I used the public toilet, but please try it.
Next is the bed.
My sister and I sleep on the second floor, the bed that moves up and down, and my parents sleep on the first floor.
The second bed can be moved electrically.
It's like this in terms of width.
My legs are also stretched out, and I, who am 167 cm tall, can afford it, and the two of us can sleep.
If you lower the ceiling this much, you can stretch your arms.
There is no sense of pressure.
I was able to sleep comfortably for 6 nights.
Next is the first floor bed.
The width of the first floor bed is almost the same as the second floor.
When I eat, I take this off.
They're both boards, but I take them off.
I put a pillar here, put out the table inside, and the four of us can eat around this table.
When I sleep, I have this cushion here.
This cushion can be assembled like this, and the sheets can be laid on top of this to sleep.
In terms of width, there is plenty of room here, and even my father was able to sleep comfortably.
I think the sense of space will change a lot depending on how high and low the second floor above is.
Here you can hang a hanger, and here you can dry your laundry and towels.
There was a table and a pillar for the dining table I mentioned earlier.
It's like this.
There's a place to put it in the bottom, and now there's a big pot in there.
This is the meter that's attached to the head of the back seat in the car.
This is the tank.
If you press here, it says water waste.
The meter on the left shows that up to one-fourth of the tank is clean water.
The tank on the right shows how much water is left.
It's a little hard to see right now, but there are two lights.
It should be filling up, so it's up to one-half right now.
If you don't throw away the water before it's full, the water will overflow.
This is the battery monitor.
It's green right now, so it's not too much or too little.
I can afford about 200.
Even without an external power supply, I was able to keep the refrigerator running.
Below this is a breaker.
For example, if you press the light here, you can supply electricity from the sub-battery in the car.
This can be used without an external power supply.
I was able to use it without an external power supply of about 200.
The fire extinguisher functioned on top of this.
I think it's a smoke detector.
When the smoke was filled in, it made a sound.
And below this is a gas detector.
This is probably to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning.
It's always measuring me.
If you step on this or hit this, you'll hear a loud beep.
So be careful.
If there's something wrong with this, it's probably an alarm.
It'll help you when you run out of gas.
This is related to other power supplies.
Under the rear seat, there are two AC power supplies and two USBs.
It has one cigar socket.
I could only use this AC power supply when I connected an external power supply while driving.
I forgot to bring the cigar socket.
I think this is also a power supply that can be used with a sub-battery even when I'm parked.
This is the water tank.
Open it with the key.
I'm going to fill it up with water from the hose.
This is the gas valve.
This is the barbecue stove.
You can grill meat or cook here.
How do you start a fire?
There's this hose, so I'll connect it here.
The gas pump is connected inside, so I'll supply it from here.
I rented four chairs to use outside, so I'll put them here.
Next, here.
The back right of the car is the hose inlet.
This black one has a sewage hose in it.
This is the waste hose.
I think I've done this many times in my videos.
This is the exit of the waste hose.
Put the tip on and lock it.
If you stretch it straight, the water will flow.
The place to throw away the water is called the dump station.
There's a place where you can throw away all the sewage, including poop.
Go there, connect the hose, and throw away the water.
You don't throw it away with a pump, you throw it away with the momentum of the water.
If you try to throw it away at a high place, the water will flow backwards and you won't be able to flow.
I think you need to be careful about that.
This light blue one is the water from the tap.
I'll put this in the car.
This is the other one.
This is what you often see in Japanese garden hoses.
There's water in the park and in the service area.
You can build it as you like.
You can connect this to the faucet.
You can install all the water pipes.
Twist this and supply water.
If you reserve a power site at the campsite,
you can get water and sewage from there.
It's more convenient to choose a site like that.
This is an extension cord for electricity.
This is also a power site.
This is an external power supply.
I'll connect this to the car.
If you're wondering where this is,
plug it in here.
Plug one end into the power supply.
By doing this, you can use the air conditioner,
AC outlet,
and microwave oven.
If you don't connect the external power supply,
you can't use the air conditioner.
A site without electricity in the middle of summer
is too hot to sleep.
I was able to sleep in Melbourne, Brisbane, and Karoji this time.
It's possible that you can't sleep in the middle of summer.
Basically, it's more comfortable to use the air conditioner
if you use the power site every day.
Next, this is LP gas storage.
There's a gas can here.
The staff told me that I can use it for about two weeks.
So I've been using it a lot.
What I use this gas for is
the barbecue stove I showed you earlier.
I also use this gas to heat water.
The gas stove inside is also supplied with this gas.
Basically, I close it while I'm driving.
When I use it, I open it and use it.
There's a place where you can exchange this.
I was able to exchange it at a gas station.
I don't do it on our 9-day trip.
Next, this is...
This is a toilet that everyone hates.
We don't use this.
I take it out from here like this.
What should I do?
I take it out and throw it away.
We don't do it.
But there's green powder inside.
It's like a powder that doesn't smell.
Basically, all the waste becomes muddy.
The smell disappears and you can throw it away.
When you eat outside, you can put a roof on it.
First, twist both hooks here.
Then, use this stick inside to remove both hooks.
If you pull this, the roof will come out.
When you clean up, you do the opposite.
How was your first camping experience on the 7th of June?
I had a lot of trouble.
At first, I didn't know anything.
It's hard if there's no one to talk to.
But you didn't talk much.
No, no, no, no.
Dales Fort.
I couldn't get in.
That was a little crazy.
That was crazy.
That's true.
I didn't know until I called.
What about driving?
If you go next time,
can you rent the same car?
Or can you rent a bigger car?
Let's say you go with six people.
Six people?
I think I can drive with six people.
I think I can do it.
It's a little long.
It's just that it's high up.
Maybe.
I don't know.
If it's just that it's high up, it's no problem at all.
The length is a little limited.
Surprisingly, it's okay.
It doesn't feel like I'm driving an Eskimo.
Surprisingly, I can get in.
I can get in with a parking lot.
I always parked it where there was no space.
I parked it where there was space.
If it's close to the wall, if you open the door,
it'll hit the car next door.
If you park it close,
It's scary.
Don't hit the car behind you.
That's right.
You have to be careful about that.
But surprisingly, there wasn't a full parking lot.
I found a place with space on both sides and parked it.
I'll be fine.
Gas was easy.
I don't know how much gas is running out.
I heard you can hold it for two weeks.
I didn't have to go to the bathroom.
I don't have to go to the bathroom.
Water and drainage are too fast.
I can't take a shower.
If you don't plug it in, it'll be sucked in.
Can you drain the water?
You can't just drain the water at the beginning.
If there's a place like that,
I wish I could just add more showers.
The distance between the bathroom and the shower is...
It's very damp, it's very dirty.
You don't have to use the bathroom.
Bathrooms are like this.
There are public toilets.
Today's toilet is clean, but there aren't many clean toilets.
It's luxurious.
It's totally clean.
I have a bad image of Japanese public toilets.
There are a lot of people.
There's no toilet paper.
But...
There are a lot of instant noodles stores and roadside stations, so it's okay not to use public toilets.
In Japan, there are toilets that are hard to find.
What's that?
This kind of toilet.
What's this?
Stand here.
So it's not convenient.
It's not convenient.
Is there such a thing?
No, it's just like this.
There's only a wall.
Face the wall.
Take a pee.
Let's talk about this while eating.
I feel like I'm going to eat something.
You can see the people next to you.
Yeah, I can see them in a line.
Can five people line up here?
Yeah, about five people.
If you go down and line up, you can see a lot of people.
I'm sorry.
If you go to the convenience store, you can only see the convenience store.
I'm sorry.
You can do it diagonally, too.
It takes a long time.
How do you do it?
There's a button on the top.
If you press it, all the water will come out.
It's like a waterfall.
It's not over yet.
It doesn't take a long time.
You can go down the wall by yourself.
That's interesting.
Can you all sleep?
Yeah.
I'm too sleepy.
I'm glad I got fat.
If I didn't get fat, I'd be a foreigner.
It wasn't that cold last night, was it?
It was really cold yesterday.
But I didn't wake up.
It's cold in the morning.
I can sleep.
I can't sleep.
And it's hard to shake.
It's a little...
There are so many people.
I thought it wouldn't shake so much.
It's a great extension.
It's flying every time.
It's too small.
My mom blowed it up.
I didn't think I'd fall asleep.
It was quick to depart.
Did you do that?
I was so surprised.
It just flew away.
I was like, ouch!
I didn't get up for a while.
I was so surprised.
Did you think it was dead?
No, I thought it was dead.
Did it have bones?
Did it really have bones?
I'm glad you're okay.
I was so surprised.
I didn't know what was going on.
We made a lot of Ao-tan.
What are you talking about?
What do you mean?
We have a lot of things we want to do while we're on the road.
Oh, that's it.
Oh, that's it?
It's going to be like this.
It's amazing, isn't it?
It's going to hit the corner.
It's going to hit your head.
It's going to hit three times.
Three times.
It's going to hit three times a day.
No, it's not.
It's going to hit four times.
It's going to hit over there, too.
It's going to hit my head.
What are you going to do next?
If you do the same thing next time, what are you going to do?
I'm going to poop.
What do you mean?
I don't know what you mean.
I want to take a shower and poop.
I told you not to do that.
I don't like it.
Isn't it dirty?
I'll put it in there and do a daddies job.
I'm not going to do that.
Why don't we all poop now?
No, no, no, no.
Why don't you try the daddies job at the end?
I think someone put it out there.
It's not green at all.
I don't think I put it in.
It was all green.
It was green?
Was it green?
Yeah, it was green.
It was like water.
It was like a lump of water.
There are some that don't work.
Like paper.
I don't know what to do,
but I need more water.
I want more water.
It's such a pain.
It's the season,
so it's good,
but I can't turn on the air conditioner.
Which camping car doesn't have an air conditioner?
Maybe it's a power supply.
Or an RV.
I'm going to get one.
What about that?
RV park power supply sites
don't have a view.
I wonder if that's good for every day.
Thank you.
It's cold.
Yeah, it is.
I think we should think about the season
and make a reservation
if we have to.
We can't think about it in Japan.
We can't do it unless it's an RV park.
We're going to die.
Do you have an air conditioner?
No.
I don't think we can do 200 meters.
We should go somewhere else.
We should avoid the season.
It's hard.
It's cold at night.
We have a portable battery
and we're using it.
We're using a sleeping bag.
We don't have a battery.
If we're going somewhere else,
we should go to Perth
or New Zealand.
I want to go to New Zealand.
Takuma-san
is going to say yes.
No, I don't want to go.
It's not like that.
It's a view I know this time.
It's a route I've done before.
It doesn't matter.
You said you wanted to do a road trip.
You rented a camper.
You've made my dream come true.
I've made your dream come true.
Your dream will break.
Yes, it will.
Looking back on 2024,
Takuma-san,
you're going to say yes.
