SpaceX official announced NEW Solution to Prevent Starship V2 Explode in Flight 9 Next Week...
Explosions or failures are harsh realities that any rocket program must face. However, for SpaceX, these setbacks carry a positive meaning they serve as solid stepping stones on the path to success. Starship Flight 9, scheduled for launch next week, is a testament to this philosophy in the journey toward glory.
Recently, the FAA issued an important statement confirming that the technical issues with Starship Version 2 which caused the previous two explosions have been fixed by SpaceX. This raises strong hopes for a successful Starship Flight 9 mission.
So, what exactly did the FAA declare? And how did SpaceX solve the Starship's technical problems?
Let's dive in and find out on today's episode of Alpha Tech!

After two consecutive failures earlier this year that set SpaceX's Starship program back by several months, the company finally has a chance to reset and aim for success.
SpaceX is targeting its upcoming launch of the ninth full test flight of Starship since its debut in April 2023 as a way to get the rocket development program back on track.
In a statement on May 22, the FAA said SpaceX is authorized to launch the next Starship test flight, known as Flight 9, after finding the company "meets all of the rigorous safety, environmental and other licensing requirements."
Just a week earlier, on May 15, the FAA had updated SpaceX’s launch license, paving the way for an increased launch cadence from Starbase.

However, the green light for Flight 9 hinged on either concluding the investigation into the March 6 Flight 8 mishap or determining that Starship was ready to return to flight. In a testament to SpaceX’s resilience, the FAA chose the latter, announcing that SpaceX had effectively addressed the issues from Flight 8’s “energetic event,” which led to the loss of several Raptor engines, loss of vehicle control, and the spacecraft’s reentry over the Caribbean.

Just after the FAA's announcement, SpaceX immediately declared the launch date for Flight 9, sparking excitement in all our nerves. Flight 9 is scheduled to take place as early as Tuesday, May 27, with the launch window opening at 6:30 PM CT.
The live webcast of the test flight will begin approximately 30 minutes before liftoff.
