Are Our Minds Connected?

Are our minds connected? How can we explain synchronicity? And how does intuition work? A man says that he developed a strong intuition to see his father shortly before his father died. He asks if this can be explained using the consciousness-only model.

Rupert says: ‘The universe is a dream in the one mind of consciousness, and we are all localisations in the dreamer’s mind. So, not only are all individuals profoundly connected, but we and the environment are all part of the same system. Therefore, the fact that synchronicities appear shouldn’t be surprising.

‘To use the dream analogy: If two people meet in a dream, both of their minds are manifestations of the same thing – the dreamer’s mind. There is a connection between them, and it would be quite plausible for one to intuit what the other was thinking. Information could pass subliminally from one mind to the other because they are both localisations of the same mind.’
