In this video, I share my interpretation of one of the most beloved and iconic works in the history of Western music: the Prelude from Johann Sebastian Bach’s Cello Suite No. 1. Originally composed in G Major for solo cello, this piece has been transcribed into D Major for classical guitar, allowing us to rediscover its depth through a new lens.
This Prelude feels like a meditation—an invitation into Bach’s world of perfect balance and flowing harmony. As a guitarist and interpreter, I’ve always found that this piece reveals something new each time it’s played… something deeply human, timeless, and spiritual.
🎸 In this rendition, I approached it not only as a technical challenge, but as a journey inward—a dialogue between my own emotions and the elegance of Bach’s voice.
