A DREAM HOLIDAY IN TUSCANY | ITINERARY, WHERE I STAYED & S/S OUTFITS

We have made it to Tuscany. We touched down yesterday and oh my god I am in love with this region. It is just truly stunning. So we got a really early flight yesterday, we had the 7am flight which worked out perfectly because we landed and we've actually rented a car which I feel like if you do come here it is highly recommended because you can then just go around and see loads of places. So we actually landed into Pisa and then drove through to Lucia and oh my god it was the cutest town. I have some clips so I will clip into that now. Back into real time. You can see some snippets because I didn't really vlog yesterday. As soon as we landed I was just like, I just really want to be in the moment and enjoy it. And you know when you feel just like a little bit discombobulated when you've come off a flight. So I didn't really vlog anything yesterday but I thought I'd pick it up today. But yeah Lucia, oh my god it's the cutest little town. Maybe on our way back when we go back to the airport because we're also flying back from Pisa we might go through it again. But it's basically this walled area in the middle like the actual main town of it. And it had the cutest back streets, piazzas, we had pizza, we had gelato, Aperol. It was just so nice. And there was that little flower market going on which you guys saw and people singing and sat out. And that actually used to be that little piazza we sat in. An amphitheater back in the day. So it's actually got so much history. It's just amazing. And the atmosphere is really lovely. It was busy but not too busy because I think this time of the year in April is quite good. But today we've woken up and we've basically come a little bit further out. So we are actually staying for two nights at Via Dianella and it is beautiful. It's like a family run boutique hotel. It actually used to be stables and they've converted it. And the interiors are beautiful. So I'm going to give you a little walk through of our room because it's so lovely. And this was actually such a good find. Chris found it because we were looking for ages and there's so many nice places. And we are moving around on this trip because we want to see different parts. So we thought we would stay here, which is a little bit more north and go to Florence today. So when we actually checked in here yesterday, we managed to sit around the pool for a bit because the weather was actually really nice. And we had dinner here last night and it was amazing. It's like a little boutique-y restaurant. They have a vineyard here so they grow all their own wine, their olive oil, even their own water. And it was just a really nice evening last night. And there's a few other couples here, so we're chatting with them as well. And they're actually doing the same as us, just kind of like moving around. But yeah, today is going to be a day in Florence. And then we're not sure if we're going to come back here tonight and eat somewhere local or maybe just stay in Florence. But let me give you a bit of a room tour because this room is lovely. And the views from the bathroom, I keep saying to Chris, I was like, I feel like pinch me. I feel like I'm literally living in some Pinterest fairytale dream. I've got the windows wide open and I've got them wide open in the bathroom as well because the air coming through, I don't know if you can hear all the sound of the birds in the back. It's just so peaceful here. So it was actually quite nice coming from kind of the town yesterday to here and just relaxing a little bit. But let me show you the room. As you come in the door, we have our own little balcony here and you can hear all the birds chirping in the background. It is so peaceful and some lovely views here, but you have to see the other side where the vineyard is. It's absolutely beautiful. But you come through, I'm definitely going to sit here with my coffee in the morning and read my book. And this is our room for the next two nights before we move on. But how beautiful is this huge room and the tall ceilings. And it's actually given me so much inspo for our studio at home with the black wrought iron, which is very similar to our crystal doors. And I love how they've got the picture frames going up here and they've added a height to the walls and then the little kind of boudoir section here, which is beautiful. And then I've just opened up the windows everywhere just so you can get all the light and the air in and hear the birds. It's so pretty and it's just so peaceful. Because we were in Lucca earlier, obviously it was a lot more buzzing and atmosphere, which was amazing. You come here and it's just so peaceful. I mean, look at the view when you have the door open to this balcony. It's lovely. And then you come through, so you've got kind of like a vanity, TV, fridge and everything here. I've got my new demolier bag, which I will be showing you guys. Then this is kind of like a walk-in closet situation. There's a his and hers, another big mirror. And then you come through to the bathroom. It is beautiful. I've just started hanging up some of my dresses in here because I had a shower and I wanted to steam them. But look at this view. How stunning is this bathroom? I mean, the shower alone, let me just show you, it is huge. So there's two shower heads, there's a his and hers, and then there's this like massage where you can sit and this goes on your back. This is the biggest shower I've ever been in. It is absolutely huge. So you can see this view because it is just stunning. I love these little mirrors on the side as well, but this view, getting ready here and listening to the birds chirping. Let's open this. It's just beautiful. This is something out of a Pinterest dream. It is so picture perfect. So getting ready here is just so ideal. We're all in Tuscan Hills and this is the vineyard here where we're staying. It's just absolutely stunning. And I love this sink as well, this marble. Chris was saying, doesn't this remind you of something? And I was like, what? And he was like, pretty much everything reminds you of it anyway. But Harry Potter, I don't know what it is. You know, Moaning Myrtle when they're in that big bathroom. Anyway, a lot of you probably aren't Harry Potter geeks like me, so I'm going to stop. But yeah, I have just been obsessing over this bathroom. Such a lovely touch and a nice place to get ready. And then there's also the chandelier in here, just feels so grand. Okay. I thought I'd actually just prop you up on here so I can sit and chat with you. But we have actually headed down for breakfast this morning and it was so lovely. You sit and just look out of the vineyard and the rolling hills are just stunning. We're just getting ourselves together now because I've got a bit of work I need to upload. So waiting for that to upload on the wifi and then we're going to get ready and go to Florence. But I don't think I'm going to wear this. I just wore it to a breakfast this morning. I've just got my Ralph shirt. These, oh my God, how embarrassing. I've been sat here flying low, but my re-shorts. And I actually have a really bad blister from wearing my sandals yesterday. So I put these ones on instead and I'm hoping they'll be okay. But I might wear my Chanel ballet flats today. And I've got this lovely linen play suit. The weather is looking lovely, but maybe rain this afternoon. So we might look at doing a cooking class. We're not sure if to do it in Florence or maybe tomorrow when we're going to check out a few of the other little towns. And then we will later be checking into another hotel, which is where I'm going to be horse riding as well. And I cannot wait. So we have got a good itinerary. We're going to do vineyards, a cooking class, riding, a few days where we can just chill by the pool. And then also we want to explore a lot. So that's why we rented the car. But I feel like I could come back here every year because I've only been here, what? 48 hours, 24 hours. I don't know. And I've just fallen in love. It's just, I love Italy. Whenever I'm here, it's such my happy place. And Chris is like, you have not stopped smiling, laughing. And I just come alive when I'm in Italy. I love it. And I actually managed to have my wedding cake last night. If you guys know the story, I didn't actually manage to eat my wedding cake on my wedding day. So the gentleman last night, the waiter, he managed to bring me out a piece of the mille en fole. I can never say it right. I've completely butchered it. Don't come for me. But oh my God, it was amazing. That made me really happy as well. I'm going to get myself together. I've actually got my new Miu Miu sunglasses on. These are the gold frame ones. And then I've also got the tortoiseshell ones. But they're really nice because they're actually not heavy on your face. And so far, they haven't been leaving too much of a mark. Maybe a little bit here. The other one's not so much. But sometimes I feel like sunglasses can feel quite heavy when they have this frame. But yeah, like I said, I'm going to change into my play suit today, I think, and then just bring a cardigan with me. So let's rendezvous. You guys can see my tripod right now. I've got you on two glasses and this random jar. And I'm hoping it doesn't fall. But this is the outfit I've just changed into. This new jumpsuit from Reese. I thought this was so sweet. And it's just really timeless. It's linen material, brings you in here at the waist. It's got the buttons, pleats. And I love this collar detail here with the neckline. Then it comes with the belt. This brings you in with a little raffia touch. I'm going to wear this with my Chanel ballet flats. I'm going to pair it, I think, with this bag, which will go perfectly. This color is the vanilla. And this is the medium reset bag. And it's from a brand called Songman. And they have some beautiful bags on there. Very oriental luxury. This is fine calf leather as well. And I love the clasp of this. It's just something a little bit different. And because I always wear gold jewelry, it actually works perfectly. So this just flaps open and then you pull up the clasp. And then inside, it's actually really good because you've got the compartment. So you've got the main part here, and then you also have this flap pocket, which is easy to put things in. And it does also come with the long strap. As you can see, this is brand new. I've just brought it with me in a dust bag. Actually do this together. And you can see it's just got the engraving here of the brand on the back with Songman. And it's got the pocket at the back as well. So it's quite versatile for today when I'm out in the city in Florence. I can fit quite a lot in here. I can put my phone. I can also put my vlog camera. It's a really good, decent size. It's actually got the green interior inside. You can put this in here and attach it. And then here on the other side as well. It's adjustable, so you can have it a little bit shorter if you want, which is good. Because I also find with bags like this, they can be quite long on me. They sit too far down. We went to Al Antico Veneo. I mean, again, I'm going to butcher these sayings. But yeah, that was just so chaotic. It's meant to be one of the best sandwich shops, like the proper Florence panini kind of style. It's kind of like a focaccia bread. But when we were walking to it, we saw some other sandwich shops and they had a barbecue. I was like, let's just go to one of them. I know that's obviously meant to be the best one, but I was not down for doing that. And I'm getting hangry. Is that a sandwich shop though? Yeah, it's got a picture of us. Have you seen a picture of us? I don't know, what about the ones that we came by? It was a bit quieter down that street. Everywhere. I love it. 10 out of 10. Chris is on the second half. I can only manage a half. They've got two sandwiches. One was mozzarella, cheese, and pesto cream. Oh my God, I can't. Even just that taste in my mouth, it's still there. It's unreal. And this one's like eggplant. Sorry, it's not eggplant, it's aubergine. I don't know why they call it eggplant. Prosciutto. And there's another mozzarella, is it? Oh, pesto. Tomato pesto. Tomato pesto. I can't tell you how good these sandwiches are, guys. So that's just half. I've only eaten a half. They melt in your mouth. Oh, heaven. First time ever having them. If you ever come to Florence, I mean, you'll see it everywhere. There's literally so many shops, but the one we went to was really nice. And the guy was giving us like samples of the hams as well before. It's just obviously like a family run place, but we literally just sat on the street eating it. Brilliant. Cheers, baby. Cheers. We just did the first wine in the wall. It was brilliant. There's a little bell. It's over here. I'll put an insert video because we got it on my phone, but it's just so cute. It's such a good concept. One down. Yeah, one down. We're basically going to go on a trail and do all the wine in the windows. It's just started to spit, but it's not too bad. Oh, we're going to do six of them. Is there six? Yeah. But apples aren't too bad because a lot of it's ice. This is another popular spot that we've come to. It's the Vivoli and it's actually the which I've seen. So we are literally stood in this queue. I said to Chris, if it goes in like five, 10 minutes, fine, which is actually moving quite quick. But it's meant to be amazing. I don't know if you can see the people here with the cups and they kind of like put the ice cream, the gelato around the espresso, but we could do with a little espresso as like a pick me up because it's been a long day walking around. Yeah. It's been a long day walking around. I feel like we're flagging a bit now, aren't we? Maybe a bit of a coffee pick me up and then a siesta for dinner. But the thing is, I did fancy like a big bowl of pasta tonight. We want pasta, but we also want to eat at the hotel because it's so nice at our hotel. Big bowl of pasta would send me off. No, but later. We're also carrying around a sandwich all day. But I didn't eat yet. My heart. Oh, I cannot remember what I last vlogged guys, but we just got back to the hotel and we are both wiped. It was actually quite a long day in Florence. And I think because we had a really early start yesterday, full day in Lucerne, came here and was just like, go, go, go all day. And I've set my alarm at like 7am this morning as well. And we've just been at nonstop. And I do feel like being a tourist wipes you out because you just can't stay on your feet. So we came back to the hotel and we've just literally crashed. I've just had a shower, just like wash my body. I said to Chris, I was like, I'm actually glad that we came back and didn't have dinner out because I think it would have just made us feel worse tomorrow. So we're like, let's just come back to the hotel, have like a small bite to eat and just chill tonight and have an early night because we've got like a real jam packed days ahead, which is really exciting and lovely. And then towards the end of the holiday, that's when we're going to start to kind of unwind and just take it easy at the other hotel. My voice is going, but I've just put this cute little cardi on. How cute is this from House of CB with a little floral embroidery going through it and the frill. I just thought something like this tonight is perfect. And I've just literally got my shorts on with it. I left my trousers in the car because I did pack them just in case it was going to get rainy and cold, but it literally drizzled for like two seconds and it was fine. We've got really lucky with the weather. So I'm hoping it's going to stay like that for the rest of the trip. But I think we're just going to have a really easy night, get into bed, read my Kindle with a cup of tea. But yeah, I will hopefully blog a little bit downstairs because it's such a lovely setting where we're having dinner, but it's quite intimate. So I don't want to be in people's faces either. But it's basically, I think I've mentioned already, it's kind of like a family run hotel. It's more like a boutique. It's basically like a huge villa and they've added this bit on and restored it. So the food here is unreal. It's not really like pizza and pasta. It's a little bit different, but Chris had these pasta parcels last night. And I think we're going to order that. Although Chris, we do have half a sandwich left. Yeah, true. But it's quite big actually. Or you could have it as a snack tomorrow. I feel like my voice is going and you've given me this sore throat. And they also have their own olive oil. It's just so cute in here. So we've just ordered two pasta dishes. We've basically lived off carbs, carbs, carbs, carbs since we've got here. And it's the best. I can't wait for the pasta as well, because we know this looks good. Yeah, so cute. Look, they cook it in a little kitchen here in front of you. Yeah, it's adorable. And they're sitting there drinking wine. I don't think it's stinging nettles like UK. Although you liked it, you were eating most of mine. Good morning guys. Another beautiful day in Tuscany. I've just got myself together. We actually got up this morning, went on a lovely walk. We went on a 40 minute walk just to the vineyards and just to take it all in. And every morning we do three things we're grateful for. And it just feels so lovely and peaceful here. And just really grateful to be here as well. So I've got myself together. We had a lovely breakfast set out. It was a little bit breezy, but it's really nice weather still. And I've got on this gorgeous dress from Faithful the brand. It's looking really cool toned in here today, but it's like a lovely buttery yellow. Let me see if I can crop you up on here. Maybe it'll look a bit better. It's such a lovely fit because we're going to go off exploring to towns today. So we're checking out this morning and then we're actually going to go stay more down South of the region, check out two of the towns. I'm going to do a vineyard and then we booked in for a cooking class later this afternoon, which will be so fun. I think it's pizza, gelato. No, so I think it's pasta, gelato or pasta and tiramisu and unlimited wines. It's going to be very fun. I can't wait. And then after that, we'll be checking into a different hotel, which is going to be really lush. And that's where I'll be doing horse riding. But I thought I'd wear this today for the vineyard and then maybe I'll change later. I'm not too sure, but I thought this could go perfect. It's buttery yellow, very Tuscan-esque, this dress. And given the weather's quite nice today, I thought it was the perfect opportunity. I've actually just put my hair back again because I could not be bothered to do it. I've done my makeup and I actually just filmed this for TikTok. So I didn't manage to film it for you guys, but I'll maybe do my makeup tomorrow with you guys. Cause I think I'll do a hair wash tonight. I think it's both. Hello, Ramona. I can't shake the simplest feeling. Combo would be banana and white chocolate. It's the only white wine in Tuscany with the nomination VOC. I just done a little bit of wine tasting, which was lovely. And it was four, well, I say four glasses. It was like tiny, tiny bits. And this is the only place actually within the region that has DOCG. So it was nice that we came because a lot of the, yeah, the white wine, sorry. Cause a lot of the wines obviously here are red lead, whereas this was more white. It was so good. And then you get a little card afterwards and you can kind of do like a vending machine of wine and try them. Just had another little bit. It's so cute sat out here and the view. I need to show you in front of me. I think I, at last block when we were in, yes, we have since checked into Airbnb and now we've come to Sienna. Honestly, we are like back to back. We've been doing so much. We did a little bit of the wine tasting Vienna and we're going to do such a lovely cafe. We're going to do a pasta and tiramisu cooking class, but I only had a few bites of our leftover sandwich this afternoon. So I feel like I'm flagging, need some food, a little bit hungry. Yeah. So cute. It's little tables outside, little back streets. So yeah, we'll probably have a little meet around Sienna later for our cooking class, but we thought, Oh my God, this is so sweet. Let me just show you what I'm looking at right now. Everywhere's just honestly, everywhere you go, you turn your head and something's picturesque or really quaint and cute. And it's just like my idea of a nice place when there's like little back streets, people sitting out. Yeah. It's around six o'clock now. So these past few days, we've been doing quite a lot. Whereas tomorrow when we check into the other hotel, we're going to have some really nice kind of downtime aside from me doing my horse ride in. I'm excited. I've actually done tiramisu before in Rome, but you've never done it. And I've actually been craving it the whole trip, a nice tiramisu. But yeah, I'm hoping for some good pasta, which we're going to be making ourselves. So let's see how this goes. I went wham on the chocolate powder. So we're staying at, we actually got up as you saw and went on a bike ride and we have just checked in to the most insane hotel. I think this is probably one of the nicest hotels I've ever seen. It doesn't even feel like a hotel. It feels, I can't explain it. I keep saying to Chris, like everywhere I look just gets more beautiful. And I don't even know how, like, look at this view we are sat looking at right now over the hills of Tuscany is absolutely stunning. So this is called Orgeo Pignano, again, maybe butchering that. So sorry if I am, but we have just checked in and they gave us a lovely glass of their Rose Prosecco, which they actually have a vineyard just down here. And I look at the building behind me, there's so much character and it's just, we just had a little mooch around and it's beautiful. The grounds are stunning. All of the plants have bloomed. It smells amazing. So we're actually just going to take it easy the next two days. I feel like we've been doing a lot of exploring and we are literally just going to ease into the rest of the holiday and just wind down. So I think we're going to check out the pool this morning and chill around there. And then I've got my horse ride in this afternoon, which I cannot wait for. And then we'll probably have lunch and dinner here because we don't really want to leave the grounds today. But hence why Chris is in this outfit because we've been bike riding this morning. Hello. Hi. You look very grumpy. I'm not, I'm just catching up. I've been in the car for the last hour. Yeah. I'm a very popular person though. I know, Jesus. I like four WhatsApps. Crazy. Look at this view behind you, look how pretty it is. I'm ready to get in the pool. Yeah, I'm ready to chill as well. You need to get a turn. You both need to get a turn. Yeah. I just honestly, I keep pinching myself that I'm here. We've just come to check out the pool for a bit and everything here is just aesthetically pleasing. We're like in this rock basically that's built in. The pool is like the most aqua bloom. They've just brought some little snacks for us. We've got homemade rice crackers, olives, salted almonds. I am living my happiest life right now. The olives are like on steroids. How good are they? They're massive. So yummy. It's the biggest black olive I've ever seen. Yum. Is it Nostrella olives? I ain't got a clue but it tastes good. Sad. Oh, I nearly choked on that olive. Someone said what's Chloe's favorite holiday, type of holiday. I think this is it summed up to a tea and the fact I'm also going to be horse riding this afternoon. Like you couldn't, you couldn't make me any happier. I just want to all up. And it's so nice. We were saying, we've been so busy the whole holiday, spending the last two days just relaxing like this. I feel like we haven't even just like sat down or lay down the whole trip, which has been nice. We've been seen a lot. Yeah, this is the perfect way to end it. It's been good to explore and get the culture up. And also staying, we were saying staying at different places, right? The first place we stayed was amazing. Villa Daniella. I would say that's what, four star? The Airbnb, three star, four star. And then this is like five star. Daniella, we could have easily done three nights and been comfortable because the food was amazing. Restaurant was good. Service was good. We kind of had to stay at different places because we went from the North and then further South and further South. Yeah, definitely. It would have been a lot of driving otherwise back and forth. I definitely recommend if you want to come to Tuscany, to hire a car one and two, definitely stop off, like stop at different places. You get to experience everything because every time we've stayed somewhere, we've completely experienced something new. Either it be their wine, their food, just the views, the agriculture is just unreal. Where do we go and stop at five different towns? We've never done that. It's been really nice actually. So we're just basically reminiscing on the trip whilst we're sat here. We've basically got the whole pool to ourselves. I don't know why no one's here because it's absolutely stunning. So we've just had lunch and we've just checked into our room and they've left us a lovely treat. This is very much more of a traditional interiors and it's such a lovely room. Honestly, the hotel is beautiful. Oh, they've left us a nice note. Dear Mr and Mrs Luthoris, congratulations on your anniversary. But this is the bedroom and Chris is clearly demonstrating what you do in bed. Honestly, wherever you see a bed, he will nap straight away. This is going to be you whilst I'm horse riding. But yeah, I need to get changed soon. I've just put this on because we've been chilling around the pool. I had my swimwear underneath, which you may have seen. This hat is last year from Under the Stories. My hair is desperately needing a wash, but I just thought I'd put it in a braid today because I'm going to be horse riding later. And how lovely is this set from Rebecca? It's a beautiful linen one. And I feel like this is one of those that I'll forever love and use every summer because it's just so easy to throw on over a bikini like we just did to go back up to the hotel for lunch. It's actually just a lovely material as well. And I like the fact that it's off the shoulder and it comes with a matching shorts. You can mix match it, but you know, you've had like a wet bikini and then it kind of comes through. So yeah, I've just had this on today and my hat and my sunnies, but I need to get changed. But I'll quickly show you the bathroom. Again, it's very much more traditional interiors, but it's still really nice and spacious and big tall ceilings and then a his and hers. So I feel like I have not been doing any get ready with me's whilst being here. So maybe I'll film later when I blow out my hair and get ready for dinner. Good evening. I had such a lovely time out riding. It was absolutely stunning riding through the Tuscan Hills. I obviously love hacking out at home and it's so nice doing it through the English countryside, but doing it out here was something else. Managed to have a good canter and the horse was just beautiful. He was so well behaved. He was lovely. So we were out for a good hour and then as we're out, the cloud started coming over really dark and it started thundering, but we managed to literally just get back and then there was a little bit of a rain cloud. So we've come back freshened up, blow dried my hair. I had like a good everything shower with washing my hair and just feel a bit better for it. Cause I've just had it slicked back the past few days and I'm actually wearing this lovely new dress from Suzanne, which I'll show you, but we've just actually realized we're both wearing Suzanne. Well, this is October editions. I love these trousers he's got on by the way. I think we, yeah, I've already uploaded it by the way. Him wearing these trousers or something else, but I will link these two looks because I love their stuff. So we're going to head down now and have a little aperitif. A little cocktail aren't we? So I don't know what that is, but yeah, it's just a really easy throw on dress. You don't have to steam it or iron it, which is great. It's got the pleats in it. And then I've actually just put it with my Chanel ballet flats. I do have those H&M heels, but I think this actually goes better and then partner it with. Looks so good with it actually. The creams going with the polka dot. It's giving pretty woman the polka dot dress. So it's matching with the ballet flats as well. Yeah. This is the look for tonight. Quite casual in terms of ballet flats, but I'd rather that than be getting stuck in the grass outside with heels on. Now that I've got one. Wow. You're not going to live that long. So the current current leaders for holidays we've ever been on are our wedding. They're South Africa. Rome was good. But that was because it was our first holiday together. And I was my 30th. Yeah. So you're saying this, this trumps everything else except for the wedding in South Africa. Yeah. Not for you. No, I'm just, I'm just, I mean, this is just my idea of an amazing time. Wine, Italian food, amazing places, horse riding, like exploring. Do you think this was better than South Africa then? No, it's just completely different. South Africa was like a once in a lifetime. You can't ever compare seeing what we saw in South Africa. And also it was my best friend's wedding. Moral of the story guys, we've had the best trip. The fact that you went on a hack edges it for sure. Yeah, for sure. It was lovely. So is that now the prerequisite for every holiday? Like are there stables? Yeah. When I go on a hack. Got to go horse riding. In the middle of nowhere. Is there a stable? I just love horses. I love animals. I love the slow living. What about skiing? Where does, where does this rank against skiing? Oh stop, actually no. Skiing was so much fun. Horse riding on a mountain would be quite difficult with the snow. It was basically, we were up and down the hills. You'd have to concede that there'd be no horse riding. The horse was literally getting out of breath and up and down these hills. It was hard work for him. But no, skiing was also up there. Yeah. We're rambling anyway, guys. We had the best time.
