Cervinia, Italy — Beautiful, Boring, Backside of Matterhorn

June 6, 2023 | Cervinia, Italy • On our way from Cortina D'ampezzo where we hid from mourning weather and heading towards Chamonix in France, we had one day of travel and half a day to kill. Cervinia was just a "hop" away from the main route - a ski resort under the majestic Matterhorn (or Monte Cervino), from the Italian side. It is an anual ski destination for my dad, and so it was nice to check out his favorite ski place.
