Okay, late afternoon. It's been raining a lot here which I love because when the sun's out
it's pretty intense and too hot for me because I already live in Florida. This is a nice house.
I already live in the sun. I'm not here for the sun. I'm not really here for the beach.
So this cloudy gray weather is perfect for me. So I'm going out on a mission.
Nice looking temple complex over there. Let's make a quick detour and check it out.
Wow, place is pretty intense. Open over here.
Okay, let's take a look. I'm gonna go kind of slow. I hope it doesn't bore you to death.
There's a lot to see here. Pretty amazing actually. And again, once you get off these
busy streets and just step back into one of these temple complexes, it's immediately
a whole new world. And this is spectacular. Now I don't know whether this is old
or new or what it is or what it's all about, but it's pretty incredible. Take a look inside.
in this complex here. I'm not sure if they're all joined together.
We're definitely going to find out. Look at this. Hello, Amun. Hi, how are you?
How are you? Very, very beautiful. Good eye. Beautiful. Okay, thank you. This way? Okay.
I think he told me to get out. So respectfully, that's what I'm gonna do.
I'm not sure that that's what he said, but I certainly don't want to be the guy.
I don't want to be that guy. All right, gotta get some mango passion fruit tea right here.
A fresh piece of the mango in there. It's got the cold blended ice. It's got the amazing local tea,
got the mango juice. And in the bottom, you have that baba and some softer pieces of mango.
So when they cut the mango up, they take the outside pieces and even a little bit of skin,
cut it into kind of bigger cubes. And at the bottom is all the super soft
pieces of mango that you get closer to the seed. And this, guys, is something else. Let's take a
Probably a good place to find what I'm looking for. First, I want to get the fruits that I'm
looking for. Actually, it's going to start raining. I'll dive on in there to get out of
the rain a little bit. Let's see what we see. I see a refrigerator in there. Let's see what
they got in it. See what I can find. I'm kept by all these scooters. Kind of crazy.
They got the Larue. Larue, probably the most underrated beer in the
universe. Xin chào. Heineken. Tigers. Let's get a Heineken.
Hey, this young lady. Hi. We film each other.
Nice little stop in the e-home. Had a cold Heineken. Delicious. And, yeah,
stopped raining already. But like I said, you know, in the space of time that it took to drink
beer, four or five minutes and the rain is over. Taking a little walk out here to the
rice paddies. I want to find a quiet spot just to relax for a minute. The sun's come back out,
which is nice. And you can probably see the breeze in the trees. Absolutely perfect
and peaceful. I have a small shrine here, and this one is dedicated to the
rice paddies, the harvest, and the natural rhythms of life.
There is a starfruit tree, but you can see the starfruits up there and some on the floor here.
I'm going to take this one. This one looks like it just dropped. I'm going to take this one for
later. There's another one over here. This one's a nice one too. Beautiful butterfly.
So a lot of nature out here in the rice paddies. It's so intertwined with the culture and the
fabric. The rice paddies don't just provide the rice. Also in here, they're going to harvest
fish, frogs, birds, ducks. The ducks live here. The geese live here. Hi uncle. It's nice to see
you again. Xin chào. Beautiful here. Vietnam number one. You can hear the wind and the bamboo.
Pretty cool. I asked the lady if I could try one, and she said, yeah, no problem,
but she says they're very sour. She says it's kumquat. I'm just going to put it in my pocket
so I'm going to burn something. I'm going to continue the bountiful exploration of this
tour bus. A lot of smoke coming out of this guy's grill. Let's see what we got. Hold on.
Chicken or some duck. Look at this. I might take this all at ducks.
Duck. I might take this home to my wife. Duck or chicken. Oh, they have both.
I'll have both. How much is one duck? How much is one?
60,000 dong for one whole duck.
30,000 dong for half a duck. 30,000 dong for half a duck. That's like a dollar.
How can that be right? Gotta be more than that. Hold on a second. Let me double check with this
260,000 dong. It's $10 for a duck. Famous YouTuber. She's filming me. I'm filming her.
Do you think?
Is 260,000 dong. Is the price negotiable or is it 260,000 dong? Negotiate the price.
Hi guys. Oh, let me come from the rain. It's raining a little bit. Will you take 200,000 dong?
Oh, no. It's the same as Vietnamese. Chicken is 200,000 dong.
Which one do you think is better? Chicken or duck? Which one do you think is better? More tasty.
I think my wife likes duck better. So can I get one duck? One duck. Please, to go. Okay, sit down.
Sit down. Yeah, right away boss. Okay, I gotta wait about 10 minutes for the duck.
What is your YouTube channel? They want to know my YouTube channel. But the thing is,
I don't really have a YouTube channel. Hold on. These guys want to take a picture with me. They
think I'm a famous YouTuber. Not famous. Only two followers. Not famous. Only two followers.
You and him. My number one follower. Number two follower. You're the best.
Yeah, let's take a picture. One day you'll be famous.
Bye guys. I love Vietnam.
Thank you so much.
