Yeah, so much at stake in the short program.
We were always saying that you can't win the event in the short program,
but you can get yourself in a position where you certainly can lose it.
Alessandro Tormina, the coach.
That's Alexander, the choreographer of this team, Team Zulus.
So their music, Tron Legacy.
Wish them well.
Attention program, you will receive an identity disc.
Everything you do or learn will be imprinted on this disc.
A couple of bumps and I thought they made it through,
but unfortunate fall at the end there.
Again, looking for that strong arch in the lifted skater's back.
Yeah, really enjoyable performance that.
Such a pity they had that fall right at the beginning of the program,
that they were able to put it behind them, which is so important.
Don't dwell on the mistake.
And again, importantly, that fall was not on an element,
so it doesn't impact the score as much as it might have done.
Right, and right now I know the technical panel is reviewing that element,
but they are close to getting a full call on that.
That's really great.
Yeah, I thought this was a really well done program.
I really like the theme.
I thought it was very obvious what it was, really easy to get into.
Lots of highlights on the music.
So I'm really well done for that.
Certainly good speed across the ice.
Good synchronization throughout the program,
but close to a personal best in the short.
I thought they were really impressive in the short program.
Yes, I did too.
And again, they've sort of raised their game a little bit here in the free.
Taking a look at that intersection.
Some bumps and some pausing.
So likely going to lower the call on that point of intersection.
Really great backflip entry into that group lift element.
I mean, very good through the South Coast.
Yeah, South Coast, not usually a jump that you see in the no hold.
A lot of people elect, a lot of teams elect for flip jumps and loop jumps.
So nice to see some variety there.
Here are the twizzles.
That back outside quad twizzle.
Always something that you hold your breath on as a coach.
Really great ending position.
Yeah, a team that I think have got stronger as the season's gone on.
Certainly their scores have gone up and the results have been good.
So the season's best score for the free 84, 85.
Yeah, they've blown that out of the water.
Look at that.
Over 100 points for Team Zulu.
Fantastic stuff.
And they go shooting into the lead.
Really well deserved.
And that with the fall in the program as well.
It's always encouraging when you get your season's best at the end.
And even when there's some mistakes.
