And now, the next skater representing Lithuania, Milana Sanevskaya, 11th after this short program,
hoping to close in on the top 10. Milana skates her free skate to Romeo and Juliet.
Lithuania's Milana Sanevskaya has the Lithuanian flag proudly waved there as we see some of the
pair skaters whose jobs are done. And I think Milana had a little bit of emotion exuding her
being there at the end of what was a very passionate skate. And now we start to head
into the combination of clean skates with stronger program component scores because
that was the most emotive of the skates I believe that we have seen thus far, coupled
with some strong technical jumping passes.
There is four elements that will be under review currently. Two jumps and two spins,
so that's still pretty good from a jump perspective.
You can see what it means to share a hug. And hopefully now here too, in addition to
the jumping passes that we'll see, we'll see a real investment in the emotional output
from Milana.
Triple Lutz, start the program, that was nice and tidy.
Oh, lovely.
Triple Salchow up into the toe double loop, hanging on, and she did quite nicely get the
free leg back, nice extension triple loop there. How many triple jumps did she do there, Mark?
I think we had six.
Triple toe up into the double axle, straightens that out, cover more ice.
High energy here, change of energy. And you know, the track Kissing You, the Desiree track,
so popular, so used, and not normally one that you would expect a 14-year-old to be
able to commit to, as we see somebody else, the FaceTime. But Milana was engaged and emoted
to it, so I wouldn't have necessarily assumed that a skater so young would be able to engage
as well as she did, but that she did.
Well, it's extraordinary. We've been talking about how, from a technical perspective, how
strong these young skaters have become, because they figured it out, how to turn and rotate
and well. But some of them are also discovering, I need more. If I want to be at the top,
I not only have to do the jumps, I'm going to have to connect with the music.
I'm starting to see that, not with all, for sure, but with some.
Yeah, absolutely, and how wonderful to then be entertained by the skaters moving forward.
And they come off the ice after so much running and running and running.
Well, look at that. 101.17. She's the best. That is third in the free program. She is
thrilled with a 151.59, and that puts her overall in the third place.
And best Kiss and Cry reaction of the day.
Yeah, that was great.
Two thumbs up.
Outstanding.
