Hello, it's Bonnie from EverythingCountryCA and today I'd like to show you my Blossom Time
China collection by Royal Albert and I've combined it with some pink depression glass
which I'll go through with you in my smaller Welsh dresser. I've left the
curtains open at the side. I wanted to show you later my large magnolia tree. It's just gorgeous
out there on the patio. But anyway just to get started I thought I would show you the Blossom
Time again just because it's so gorgeous with the pink depression glass as well as some of the pink
China teacups that I've combined it with and the pink doilies etc and also some of the ironstone
and I've added a few more of the pictures in the white down at the bottom. So with that Blossom
Time set I was really lucky to get it in that thrift haul and there's a thrift haul video
if you want to see how much I paid for the items but also it was great that I was able to get
the dinner plates, the sandwich tray at the back. I also got the cake plate down in the bottom there
and then that large coffee pot. So and also the cream and sugar is there on the little tray
and then there's a trinket dish and the salt and pepper shaker. So that set is plenty to do
a small luncheon. It's perfect for a luncheon and then I combined it with the Val d'Or
Royal Albert teapot so you can have tea and coffee served and then of course there's the Blossom Time
teacups and saucers. I had a set of four. So you got everything you need there in in one set to
have a nice luncheon and you've got the plates and the serving plates and everything that goes with
it. So and then also I thought I'd combine it with the pink depression glass. You've probably seen my
pink depression glass collection in another video with the Royal Albert American Beauty China that
I have and in this one I just mostly included the Anchor Hawking
different pieces of pink depression glass. There's also the Jeanette
Cubist cream and sugar at the left and right and this little Scotty powder dish which is actually a
Jeanette pink depression glass piece as well. I've got this little pink vase here
which is made in Japan at the bottom and then on the top I also had that large pitcher with the
teapot, teapot actually with the doily on the side there and an Anchor Hawking piece.
So I included some of the Anchor Hawking side plates in the pink depression glass
and then there's another one there and then this lovely little trinket dish here.
And then also what I thought I would do which is a little bit different from my last
video with Easter for this was that I included some of the pink teacups and saucers.
This one was my mother's actually and this one is Royal Leighton and that one's got lots of
crazing it's a really old one and then this was Royal Standard at the top and that's a beautiful
pattern on the side. I didn't want to have anything that had too many flowers to clash
with the Blossom Time and this one is a England Midwinter set. It's got a beautiful rose inside
the bottom has more of the markings on it it says semi-porcelain.
Sometimes I leave those tags on so I just remember how much I paid and also that they
they weren't my mother's or original sets that I had. And then down here I also have this one
was this one is Royal Grafton yeah and there's a cocoa one as well but look at the pattern on that
beautiful and again there's no flowers to clash and then this one is almost like a jinx on the side
so just a different way of pairing up some of the pink
depression glass the china and the Blossom Time pattern of Royal Albert china and
I thought it would look all very good together but also it's a nice collection a good size
I also had this lovely vintage pink depression glass reamer and juicer
and it's it's imitation Edna Barnes it doesn't have that bee on the bottom
in the middle there but this is lovely and it's that pink depression glass
and then you can see some of my pot holders isn't that one beautiful
and there's that lovely pinky that I got at the last in the last thrift haul
there's another beautiful pink doily here just a nice pale pink
and then I included up on this top shelf that one the square in the middle and then this other
just gorgeous I just love all the pink and of course I have at the bottom as I said the
large ironstone picture and base in the middle and then some of the side pictures
I am collecting quite a few pictures now so I might have a separate display soon of just
white ironstone with the pictures and and that's about it for this one but I also wanted
to show you outside my my beautiful magnolia tree is just blooming like crazy look at it
oh my goodness just gorgeous got my patio set up here
I've been working on doing some de-mossing in the backyard
grass but anyway look at the magnolia tree and I had to
cut some of the branches myself just because they were extending onto the roof
I just love that tree just gorgeous but it's constantly dropping leaves etc
and that's the patio out there I was power washing earlier in the week trying to
clean that up a bit and then of course here is the
this display so I'll be showing you another display next week and then I've got that surprise
collection coming up so stay tuned for that and thank you so much for joining if you like this
video I hope you leave me a comment or a like and we'll see you again next week thanks so much
