Ending Modern Human Trafficking: A Conversation with Robert Deering of RAGAS

Today, we have the honor of meeting with and hearing from Mr. Robert Deering. Robert co-spearheaded a Global Grant Project to bring education training to students in combatting modern slavery/human trafficking in Sacramento, CA. This project raised close to $400,000.
Through this work he has become active in the Rotary Action Group Against Slavery (RAGAS) and currently serves as its chairperson.
He is also a board member of PACE Universal, a non-profit started by PDG Deepa Willingham that had a school in rural India that provides education for young women who would never attended school otherwise.
