Another heavy rain event is on the way in western Massachusetts, with a Flood Watch in effect from 5 a.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Saturday.
How about the 22 News Storm Team ESP
live Doppler radar. Oh, there it is.
I've got control of this. Flood watch is
in effect until uh 8:00 Saturday morning
for Hampton Hampshire and Franklin
County and also Birkshire County. So,
first the showers, then the steady rain
comes in. You can see here uh that we've
had a little bit of lightning in
Franklin County over the last hour or
so. Uh so, there still is the chance for
a scattered thunderstorm here with this
little batch of showers that's moving
through. And this is the batch of
showers that we are seeing from the live
camera in Chipe. You can see here uh
over Huntington and Blandford and uh
parts of Russell. This is moving to the
northeast at about 25 miles per hour. So
Holio, Northampton, uh you're next in
line for this batch of showers.
Southampton as well. Uh so keep in mind
that there are showers that are in the
forecast here for this evening and then
a steady rain here for tomorrow. Our
clouds and radar showing the line of
showers moving up slowly but surely from
the southwest to the northeast. So, plan
on it tonight. Could be a thunderstorm
here through about 8 9:00 tonight and
then it's showers and eventually a
steady rain. 78 now, 70 at 7:00 and 63
at 9:00, 56 at 11. We will track uh the
rain potential with our 22 new Storm
Team Skycast in just a few minutes with
our 22 new Storm Team 7-day
