Joseph Johnson's Full Hunter pocket watch, made around 1856, is one of the most iconic examples of 19th-century British watches. Joseph Johnson was a prominent watchmaker in Liverpool, England, operating from 1814 to 1851, with his business address at 25 Church Street, Liverpool. After his death in 1827, his work was continued by his family until at least 1857.
