Clara and the special book. Once upon a time there was a little girl named Clara,
who couldn't wait to go to her grandparents. So was excited. Whenever she visited them,
she was always wanted to run, play and have fun with them. That morning, however,
Clara was especially impatient. She had bought a bowl and a skipping rope with her,
ready to spend a day playing. When she arrived at her grandparents, she entered the house all
smiles. But the grandparents had another idea that day. Hi Clara, we want to do something special
today. Grandma said with a smile. Come sit with us. We'll read you a book. Clara grimaced. A book?
But I want to play. Why can't we do something more fun? Let's play together. The grandparents
exchanged a glance and in no hurry took a book from the cell. This book, dear Clara,
is about important things. This is a book that will help us understand many things in life.
Grandpa explained. Clara was not convinced, but she sat down next to her grandparents, curious.
Grandpa began to read and soon the contents of the book spoke to her about facing life's
challenges, calmly and wisely. It was about a small tree learning to grow slowly, learning to
take time to develop and not be in a hurry. You see, Clara, grandma said, this story teaches us
that sometimes we don't always have to rush. Sometimes it's important to stop and reflect.
Clara listened attentively, even though she couldn't understand everything right away.
But the more she listened, the more she realized there was something special about being calm
when doing things and learning from the wisdom of the grandparents. When the book ended, Clara felt
changed in a positive way. Perhaps the game would have been fun, but those words seemed to have
given her a new perspective on life. I like the story, she said, smiling. Maybe I can learn to
grow slowly too, like the tree. I learned the true strength lies in calmness and reflection
and not always in hurry.
