- Abraham Louis Breguet, Paris, marked to dial as "Breguet et Fils," quarter-hour repeater, 52mm, 14K or better rose gold (tested, exhibiting fade of 18K solution on stone, no fade of 14K solution) OF recase of later vintage, engine turned silver dial, KWKS (key not included with this lot), ruby cylinder escapement, balance with parachute shock with bi-metallic compensation curb system, gilt mvt, s#3743 within later case, mvt with no evident s#. For comparison purposes to the present movement and dial, we recommend an identical style Breguet et Fils quarter-hour repeater at serial number 3327 was sold by Antiquorum Auction in 2016; its photos and information can be viewed at the following link - https://catalog.antiquorum.swiss/en/l... - and we note the Antiquorum description conveys serial number only from the case of the watch.
