Little Bible Beans Learning God's Word One Buzz at a Time
Let me tell you a story from the Bible.
In Galatians chapter 5, Paul reminds us that Jesus makes us free.
That means we don't need to follow a bunch of rules to be loved by God.
Jesus already loves us so much.
Instead, God wants us to love Him and love each other.
Paul talks about two ways to live.
One way is called living for yourself.
That means being me, fighting, not sharing, or being jealous.
That doesn't make our hearts happy, and it doesn't make God happy either.
But there's a better way.
When we let God's Spirit help us, we grow something called the fruit of the Spirit.
These are special things like love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
When we follow Jesus, these good things grow in us like fruit grows on a tree.
God's Spirit helps us share, be kind, and live happy, peaceful lives even when it's not easy.
Isn't that wonderful?
Let's ask Jesus to help us grow His fruit every day.
