How to find a Job fast In South Africa 2022 with or without work experience
Hey there, thank you for tuning in for these best ways to find jobs in South Africa in 2022.
Hello guys, welcome back to my YouTube channel,
a channel that talks about career development and business development.
In today's video, I want us to talk about ways,
proven ways that you can find jobs in South Africa. You know,
these are the ways that some people we don't think of,
or some people we think they're outdated,
but these ways that I'm going to talk about, if you use all of them,
come on,
you're going to come back to this video and comment that you have found jobs
that you never thought they exist. You know,
you're going to be able to be exposed to a whole lot number of jobs.
How do you get to see these jobs? Where do you find these jobs?
How do you find jobs in South Africa? How do you job search?
But before we get into that, please do subscribe to the channel,
do share the video, please do like. So let's get down into the video.
The first thing that I want us to talk about guys,
if you haven't as yet, or maybe you're not even that active on LinkedIn,
please create a LinkedIn account, you know,
create a LinkedIn account because that way that's a hub of getting your job
opportunities.
I mean like even companies that you don't know that they exist,
small companies, most of them, you know, they'll just put a post there,
you know, a director or an employee would put a post there that, you know,
our company's hiring this and this, you know, position.
And many professionals they do share those, you know, job opportunities.
So that's one platform that you should spend a lot of time on. You know,
I know the other ones that make you laugh and entertained,
but for professional reasons, LinkedIn is a way to go.
Please create a LinkedIn account and follow all the companies that are within
your sector.
Follow all the professionals that are within your sector so that whenever,
you know, a post is shared or, you know, or internship,
learnership, you know, or just a permanent position is shared.
You are able to see it at first hand and you're able to apply.
What I've realized is many of small companies, they do not really share, um,
they do not post the jobs on their company websites. You know,
they don't do that. So on LinkedIn is one platform whereby you can be exposed to
a lot of jobs. As I've said, we are living in the world of technology.
You know, also join groups on Facebook.
There are a lot of groups as per your sectors or per professions, you know,
go on those groups, you know, be part of as many groups as you can, you know,
be because one day someone's going to share a post that, you know,
it's something that you qualify for or you fit just like LinkedIn.
Many other small companies also share the post on their Facebook page.
Another thing, guys,
when you have time and when you can and have money,
just dedicate a day whereby you list, you know,
companies that you would like to go to hand in delivery for your CV,
you know, just designate those days whereby you just go to town,
go to whatever area and start, you know, knocking on doors, you know,
give them your CV and dress appropriately for in case they want to do
interview you on spot, you know, cause sometimes it happens.
You might find that someone just resigned yesterday.
So you are saving them a lot of time to be advertising the post,
doing the shortlisting and everything, but do job hunt by door to door,
you know, and when you get to the companies,
I would prefer that instead of just leaving your CV at the reception,
first ask if the director is there, if the hiring manager is there,
if you can talk to them, you know,
or sometimes call beforehand and make appointments to see them.
When you get there, talk to the hiring manager, talk to them,
you know, the director of the company and you know, sell yourself, you know,
and remember first impressions last, you know, dress appropriately,
you know, be confident, work on your confidence. And when you get there,
you know, be on the attitude that I'm even ready to start immediately,
you know, be kind, be professional.
And another thing that you should not underestimate is the word of mouth.
Guys never underestimate the word of mouth.
If you are seriously looking for a job,
just make sure that you always tell anyone and everyone that you're looking for
a job because most of the time,
some people they can hear from their company that they're looking for someone
and they can quickly if they know that you're looking for a job or they can
just tell you that their company is looking for a job so that the following day
you can quickly send an email and or, you know, you know,
go there and drop off your CV. So word of mouth guys, it's very, very,
very important. You know, it's important. I can't emphasize enough.
I know this because I've got, you know, uh,
jobs in the past where I was referred by someone.
So always tell people that you are looking for a job,
especially those who are in the same profession as you, you know,
ensure that your friends, your,
your other people that are in your sector know that you're looking for a job so
that when a post arrives there,
you are the first person that they think of.
So don't underestimate that. So guys,
those are some of the ways that you can start, you know,
focusing on and paying a lot of attention to until you get that desired job
position you're looking for.
You'll never know when you're going to get that job.
So keep on exploring all the possible, all the possible ways, you know,
until you get the job that you want.
So all the best and I hope you guys get the employment that you are seeking.
