Shred Boys pack up their dirt bikes, and ride the Dusy Ershim trail to camp at Voyager Rock. Follow us along as we enjoy exploring the beautiful scenery at Courtright Reservoir, and cook up some amazing gourmet steaks under the stars.
With the seasons ever-changing, we thought it would be a good idea to get one last camping
trip in before the winter comes.
We decided to ride up to Voyage Iraq and do some moto camping and gourmet cooking while
we're nestled in the wilderness.
We wanted to show that even though the roads can be hard to get into, you can still camp
in luxury and enjoy a nice meal.
Made it up here to Courtright today.
We went on the Ducey Irsham Trail and made it up to Voyage Iraq here.
I've been wanting to come to Voyage Iraq for years now.
So finally made it up, we took the really rough Ducey Irsham Trail and it's actually
one of the roughest, if not the roughest, off-road trail that you can take.
Crazy rocks.
We only rode a couple miles in to get to Voyage Iraq, so it wasn't too bad, but gets really
gnarly from here.
Courtright is a really secluded place and we had the whole Voyage Iraq area all to ourselves.
It was fun riding up and down the beach, exploring different areas that normally you can't get to.
We loaded up the bikes and headed up here and found a real cool camp spot along Courtright
on the beach.
Yeah, we've got some Wagyu steaks, we've got some bottled alcohol, so we're going to do
a nice night under the stars and enjoy nature up here.
What we've got here is some Australian Wagyu, some A5 Japanese Wagyu.
You're missing out.
Courtright, you can't get here unless you have a motorized vehicle that can scamper
some rocks.
It's grilling right there.
We cooked up an amazing meal tonight and riding these rough roads to get in here made it even
better.
Something about camping up here at Courtright, it's so quiet, you can hear the wind whistling
over the lake.
You can see the sunset here falling behind the granite mountains in our background.
Courtright's great for watching the stars and just having a real nice quiet night to
ourselves.
We woke up the next morning to really cold temperatures, it was in the high 20s last
night.
We had some frost on our tents and bike.
We did a little exploring on our bikes before heading back to the track and heading home
for the day.
Being out in nature one last time for the season is awesome.
It really makes you appreciate the changes in weather, the changes in the terrain.
So we won't be able to head up here until the following summer, but I'm glad we got
to check out Voyage Iraq and we had a great time up here at Courtright Reservoir.
