got the first four ceiling joist put up after we finally worked out the pattern Should be able to just roll right along We're using this one as our pattern After we got it worked out so it's perfect And now we just need to cut up the rest that we need for the rest of the ceiling joist using our pattern After we get all of our ceiling joist up then I can have my electrician come over and finish the wiring of the cabin So I need to start working on my plans What sort of lights that I want how many outlets where I want my outlets and maybe I want track lighting because we're going to have this part of the ceiling will be angled and this part is flat and it's about let me see my ceiling height This flat part a little less than 11 ft tall in the very center So I should be able to put in some ceiling fans I'm thinking maybe two ceiling fans one on the front one on the back because in the middle I need some special lighting because I will have a table here in the center an island work area where I want to have some sort of apparatus for overhead lighting for a well-lit center island and be able to hook up a camera up there I got a lot to think about before I get my electrician over here So I have to go shopping for some lights and electrical boxes Got to buy outlets I already have the wire I think I need outlet covers I got to make a plan And then I have to meet with him and he'll probably make a a map of what needs to be done and how many circuits that I need to wire up this place Exciting My outdoor cat decided to come in to visit She is exploring She's checking it all [Music] out Got it Yeah Okay All right Now we need to rearrange everything so we can test it to make sure that it's good Obviously when you start putting them up we have to rearrange all this stuff I'm going to put it on the top Oh I'm right underneath of it My ladder's kind of It's going to be hard for me to see this close I'm right underneath Oh here we're doing it there I was thinking this Okay let's see how it can work Oh man Perfect Perfect Awesome Yes ma'am Great Yes So my pattern works All right Good Now we can just finish cutting your wrists While you're doing that I can start moving those boxes out of the way cuz you stop going back and back Yeah One down nine to go I slide it over on top of the line cuz every time you trace it's always bigger Got to remember to do that All right Put my out of the way That's why I couldn't find it Okay you got the door Don't stand on my Got it Got it So step out of the way You're holding it this back down on top of the other one on the back Watch out All the way in See do you you sure you don't want to put that thing out of the way cuz lifting it over that every time is a bit of a pain Yep Heat Heat [Music] Okay Need you to hold It's got my name on it Our name on it right cuz you didn't put the board on straight and I was trying to straighten it up Rolled over Smashed my thumb get it straight on I mark one side after it's make sure it's all lined up on all corners my sides After I mark it then I slide it over so that the line disappears so it doesn't make it any bigger That way when I come to this side and mark it it will it will be perfect Yep I only drew the line this far I didn't draw it all the way across but I just lined it up and I was right on I have a good eye It's okay It works Okay You're going to use this also as a template uh to for the next one No no no no If you do that they'll get gradually bigger bigger bigger Always use the same pattern I got the board marked the pattern You always use the same one If you keep changing every time they'll gradually get bigger and bigger It's over the edge I can ride it much easier Don't shut back Got it Well we have all of the ceiling joists cut We're ready to put them up We kind of cleaned up swept up this sawdust and picked up the scraps of wood We positioned the ceiling rafters um here in the center with the scaffold on that side and the ladder on this side so that it'll be easy to maneuver to put them up Oh we left the laser light on I still need to I need to turn the laser light off See we have the laser line right on the corner edge That's how we're getting them up straight And uh we tested we cut our pattern it fit perfect and we used that to cut all the rest of them So they are all cut and ready to put up But it gets really hot in here in the afternoon So we only work in the morning So we are going to probably do that tomorrow morning So I guess I need to get the ladder over there So I need to go up there and turn off the laser mount Okay it's off And I'll leave the ladder here because the first thing we have to do is turn that laser back on when we come back out
