My Birthday at Canada's Largest Abandoned Mansion. $25,000,000 65,000 sq foot Peter Grant Mansion

yeah okay I think it's working behind us here guys we are at the Peter Grant Mansion haleybury Ontario RM Ryder what we got Carlo palosa we got Chris fiser who owns the mansion He gave us permission here so we're going to head on inside and we're going to do a live stream it's my birthday by the way everybody so drop some comments down below wish me a happy birthday we're going to make our way it says no trespassing let me just turn the sign around here hold on a second hold on hold on what's go there we go sign says no trespassing but we have permission by this guy right here this is Mr Chris Fisher from Mansion impossible from Texas there he is over there the tall guy on the right see you guys later we're going in Good Luck okay guys a very very rare freaktography live stream I'm going to take you guys here to Canada's largest abandoned mansion not abandoned anymore but it's still in abandoned shape so hopefully the service is good I am up north in a place called haleybury Ontario and lot of snow as you can see it's very cold I don't have to worry about somebody calling it in and getting in trouble this is why I never do live streams guys turn this around so you can see me this why I never do a live stream cuz there's people out there who will call the police if they know where you are and then you get in trouble that's why most explorers don't do live streams anyways here we go bit of a long walk down this driveway here it's going to be pretty raw pretty raw yeah so Carlo and Jamie are back at the parking lot they're coming in I got me some PS Blue Ribbon beer to drink on the way in so you might get a little bit drunk on this adventure I don't know I'm already two beers in to be honest with this so I might already be drunk filming with my cell phone so it's going to be a bit shaky and wobbly as again I've had two beers and it's very slippery here and inside at least they were nice enough to plow the snow for us here okayo so here it is we were here last night we did a night explore with the crew and then we came back this morning we did a video with Chris's film crew for his YouTube channel which is called Mansion impossible if you guys search Mansion Impossible on YouTube you can follow along with Chris's uh uh Pro progress of uh buying this abandoned mansion so here you go here's a look at it from the outside [Music] okay all right here we go got to go through the snow this is a real raw raw uncut unedited type of video guys so if I fall you're going to see me fall if I fart you're going to hear me fart if I'm out of breath you're going to hear me huffing and puffing which I'm already there really okay here we go look at how big this door is here he huge okay let's go in we go now the floor is coated with about an inch of ice so we are going to make our way in here thanks my little hobby thank you going to go in here and drop off my camera bag so I don't have to Lug all this [ __ ] around with me so I got an idea put my beer right here for a minute and I will put my camera down for a second okay one second there guys my gloves off take my camera bag off take my pants up put my gloves back on put my gloves back on a cold beer for the for the walk through all right what up guys all right we're going to get a bit wobbly here for a minute here we go okay let me turn my light on again guys this is a very raw type of video my light on yep okay so where we are are right now in the Mansion is this would have been Peter Grant's uh master bedroom where we are right now now you're going to hear a lot of noise from my feet because it's it's solid ice and I have these things that're actually called crampons it's a funny name krampon okay so this would have been Peter Grant's master bedroom right here ah okay and anyways the crampons make a lot of noise going through so here is the windows looking off towards the lake these windows are four panels of glass it's hurricane prooof almost bulletproof wait till you see how much of this glass is completely shattered some of it has literally been shot out by people with guns all right so big long fireplace right there funny story about this fireplace that I learned is that this fireplace actually has a built-in air conditioning system and cooling system because it would get so hot if it was running that they would have to use the cooling air conditioning system to cool down the heat okay now I hope that the service here keeps up so that you guys can uh follow along and I don't lose service cuz I am up pretty pretty North so this here would be a bathroom never finished though and I will tell you guys this Mansion 65,000 Square ft okay 65,000 ft mansion and this is the only bedroom in the entire Mansion one bedroom in the whole mansion okay moving right along here is a cigar smoking room with a beautiful view of the lake now there are penises everywhere and I don't just mean Carlo pza there are penises everywhere on the walls so if you are offended by penises I'm sorry you are in for a a bad show so how are things going is the uh is the video stream clean are we doing okay here hopefully you guys can hear me okay hopefully I'm not choppy all right let's go down this [Applause] hallway it does smell like pee in here that smells a lot like pee in here that's the bedroom right there where I just was and then look here we got all this ice coming down in 22 years how's that does that help I will be 72 in 22 years do the math cheers guys okay so where we are now this is the residential part of the house where Peter Grant would have lived now my hand is very shaky I'm going to change hands there we go so this is the residental side where Peter Grant would live and then through this door here this takes us into what would be the corporate headquarters and the corporate offices for Grant forestry Products okay so this is marble floor underneath all this ice the entire building is marble flooring okay now it's a bit dark got the light on so hopefully we can see we're going to make our way through the entire house on this video guys okay the whole house we're going to go to the roof we're going to see the pool here's the main doors for the corporate headquarters right here and it's a bit of a mess in here it's also pretty dark back here so I think I'm going to turn and go back this way and I'll show you guys the amazing Master staircase how many people watching have seen videos of this mansion there's a lot of people who've done videos of this Mansion myself included Mo was here uh Mo was here earlier but Mo's now on his way home Mo was here last night with us he was here this morning but he had to go home okay here we go into this room here up there you've got some big windows and then above us would have been Peter Grant's office we'll go up there in a little while and I'll show you what the office looks like it's really cold just so you know so here's the main spiral staircase right here it's gorgeous okay okay so here's the staircase and it goes down to the pool which we'll go down to shortly and then it goes up to another floor and then up to the roof where we're going to go there too but we are going to of here okay I'm going to take a look back here it's a staircase here like a side staircase and back here is like the garage funny story on our way back to the garage is there was a massive generator stored back here from when Peter Grant owned this place it was humongous and someone stole the generator backed up a truck brought in a load of guys and they somehow got the a generator out and stole it well Chris fiser the guy who bought the Mansion well he discovered who stole it let me see if we can turn this around here so Chris fiser discovered through video footage and other ways who stole the generator he went to the police and the police have done nothing to help him get the generator back but he knows who took it he knows where it is but he can't get it back until the police will finally somehow cooperate with them all right I'm going to turn my camera around so you don't see my ugly face and and there we go back that's better thank you for the birthday wishes thank you thank you thank you now I think we'll go down and see the pool first we'll do the pool then we'll go the way up to the top okay I have to be very careful on the stairs cuz it's so slippery so hopefully I don't fall the crampons I love saying the word crampon are doing a pretty good job at keeping me from falling so let's go sorry guys this is this in in a normal video I would cut this part out so you don't have to watch me fumbling down the stairs like a baby okay but I can't cut anything out when I'm going live so fuzzy picture Dave yeah probably because of where I am okay here we are in the pool not in the pool near the pool not a very impressive indoor pool I'd say let's see here that's the pool and looks right here there's a couple of feet of uh solid ice in the pool there and then you've got some uh some windows over here to get a look outside let's go see hope I'm not uh fading on you guys hope you can still see me yeah I'm going to break up a little bit here and there so why don't we go back upstairs where the service is probably better feel like I might have just you so we're going to go back upstairs let's go there we go I see some German Dana I see some German language there okay I help we go we are going to go up to the next floor here up the stairs and we're going to go up into what would have been Peter Grant's office oh man puffing and puffing okay here we go [Applause] is it this way I think it's this way yeah here we go okay so this would have been Peter Grant's office I'm going to put my glasses on so I can read your comments because I'm 50 I can't see for [ __ ] there we go okay anyways this would have been the office of Mr Peter Grant and they would have put a glass wall across here up here you can sort of see thank you Carol you could sort of see the frame where the glass would have gone so you would have had your massive window there and then a bit of a a glass wall here and this would have been Peter's office okay moving right [Applause] along it's cold so cold in [Applause] here I do enjoy this going live it's fun seeing comments in real time and talking to you guys and answering your questions as we go so of all the windows in this Mansion such as this one there are only like five windows at the most that are not broken and I think I found four of them earlier so nice view of the lake I'll be careful I'll be very careful thank you for your concern okay we're going to go into what would have been a a showroom for Grant forestry Products and I will say while I'm walking and I said it earlier make sure you're following Mansion Impossible on YouTube on Facebook and on Instagram that is the Instagram account for Chris fiser and his family and their efforts to buy and restore this entire building what I can tell you is it will be some sort of a wellness Retreat that's all I can say Chris was not uh Chris was rather vague with his information because he's trying to hold his cards close so that the big reveal isn't already known anyways his YouTube channel will be a great resource for following along with the process of him buying this mansion and all the work that he's doing again I warned you of all the penises on the wall there are many of them and there's a couple coming up the graffiti in here is is vile and not nice all right okay moving along again very slippery we have to be careful next floor up is to the roof so we're just going to take one more look through here like check out this glass like this glass this is solid solid glass and people have managed to shatter almost every window it's crazy this is an Elevator Shaft right here okay all right I think Carlo and R and Ryder are probably up on the roof so we're going to go up there uh in regards to the show Chris is still in the process of getting a network to potentially take the show in the meantime he has his YouTube channel where he's posting his own videos where people can watch so that's why I keep recommending you guys follow Mansion Impossible on YouTube so you can see what's going on until they manage to get a network to sign off on the show Okay so this part of the Mansion was going to be uh an art gallery where he would have his art there's Carlo and Rhythm out there we'll go out there and see them in a minute those goofballs lot of graffiti in 2023 I slept right here if you saw my second video from this location I came here at night and I slept here and I set my mattress up right here and I opened this door so I would have some fresh air and I slept right here okay let's go see the guys on the roof crampons I love saying crampon thank you Laura thank you okay so that's the roof the very top of the mansion that's the UBC right there there's no way to get up here huh no there not there is no way to get up there you want to throw me up all right okay so now we're going to go back in and we are going to go to the other side of the house we're going to go see the the home theater we're going to go see the the the the recck room area and then we're going to go see the boat house it's not windy yeah it is no it's not I think Jamie went down he had to go get his battery he yeah but he said he couldn't fly anyway oh oh anyways UBC all right here we go back inside turn out to slip okay so got both crampons on yep okay I like this room lots of light very colorful oh yes I did I used my Loom cube light that had the um the police light and I made Carlo think the cops are here yes very good memory okay got to turn my light back on here sorry we're going to be a little bit wobbly here getting through here okay hopefully I don't lose you guys when I go down to the boat house I'm starting to get a running H guys so I'm sniffing a lot oh it's cold all right icicles watch this I'm the crampons are making a lot of noise and then go through here hello my man now watch this guys look at the size of this window ready floor to ceiling window and it's all shattered I cannot imagine how much effort it would have taken to shatter this whole window now I'm going to leave this here cuz I need both hands and I only have one hand cuz I'm filming with the other one I hope hope I don't get cut off here guys thank you Christa I hope we don't lose our service here we are going to go down and we're going to see the home theater and I have something really cool to show you that I didn't know until just last night and then we're going to go see the boat house and then we're maybe going to wrap it up so it's dark hopefully the lights will do some justice here and don't get losing wood was sourced from the bottom of the ocean okay right there those beams they're not supporting beams they're just decorative from the bottom of the ocean okay we're back thank you thank you Chris McGregor moving along so this is the sort of the basement wck room area entertaining space and thanks R Brown so this is interesting you see this here on the wall guys so I'm going to go up close and I'm going to show you so before I go up close I'm going to tell you guys um Peter Grant invented a product it a sort of particle board for home construction okay and kind of like plywood but it's uh so like I forget it's called OSB but I forget what OSB stands for anyway so he invented this product and that's what his company was known for and this piece of art here is all little squares of OSB okay see if I can find one here's one right here so here's a little tile of OS particle board and he made he had somebody make this thing on the wall I'm going to back up a little bit here and apparently if you guys are still with me if you look at the wall a certain way it makes some sort of um a design okay but I don't see it all I see is a bunch of squares but apparently if you look at it the yes that's thank you oriented strand board thank you if you look at it a certain way it makes some kind of a design but I don't see it I had joked earlier that given all the penises on the walls here if you squint your eyes and stare at this you might see a very large penis anyways back this way there's another really cool thing probably the coolest thing about this house that I learned last night so there was all kinds of art that was going to go up in this house okay and on this wall right here do you see all of those little uh those little support things there's eight of them four on the top four on the bottom well Peter Grant purchased an actual prehistoric shark that has been stuffed and mounted I don't know if it's prehistoric some kind of a very rare shark a real one stuffed it and mounted well that shark was going to live right here okay this would have had a huge stuffed shark on the wall and then lots of other art around so here is the other fireplace so we're right below the master bedroom and here's another one of those fireplaces okay okay we're going to move back along this way now hope I'm still with you guys I feel like I might keep cutting out here and there so here would be a cigar smoking room right here so you've got matching ceiling up top and then another one here and this is where you'd sit and smoke a cigar and hang out okay so there you go I think I mentioned earlier uh 65,000 Square ft is the size of this house and I think Chris told me earlier that Peter Grant stopped at $75 million the money that he had invested in this Mansion while he was building it at the time that he had declared bankruptcy was $75 million that he had invested in this house okay now I'm going to go to the boat house I might lose service okay so we're going to see what happens and if I lose service then I will rush back up to the top but not too fast cuz I don't want to fall so the good thing now my first was lost it was like a I know where I'm going so I don't have to worry about my trying to find my way around anyways these stairs here are so sketchy because of the ice okay thank the Lord for crampons but as you can see it's very very not very sturdy but the stairs are made of um marble this is marble stairs making my way around okay somebody said the pattern on the wall was very obvious as I just walked by it I didn't look at it so I where we're going now is Into The Boat House and if you're still with me The Boat House was built before anything else here I think I see somebody over there filming is that ridm Rider no that's one of the cameramen yeah okay shot nope not at all the boat was 65 ft long that Peter Grant had built and he built the boat house first for the boat then he decided to build the Mansion after he built the boat house so right beyond that light there is the lake and this was built for a 65t yacht all right okay we're going to go back upstairs instead of going into the boat house because I'm probably going to lose service if I go in there so here we go back up the scary stairs make sure I didn't miss anything okay one floor up trying to hold my camera steady but it's not easy guys oh okay one more floor to go okay up and up I'm not alone Mr Al I'm with a bunch of people thanks for your concern though oh no I think my beard fell down oh no there they go oh it's over there okay that's somebody can't see here is that that surrounding the Mansion it's like a moat like a fake rock moat and it had a water feature that surrounded the mansion that went to a waterfall that went through there yes if you watch my previous videos if you search freaktography uh Peter Grant Mansion I have two videos here previously one from 20022 my first time here in 2023 and you can see in 2022 there was vandalism but not quite as bad and then 2023 a year later it was worse and now it's just terrible cheers there's the roof I was on okay only 30 people watching I thought way more people would want to watch this live I guess not all right so we're at 39 coming up on 40 minutes so why don't I what is that to the right this is like a uh I guess it's like you like a carport not a carport but you just sort of drive into it this is probably part of the driveway right here because this is the main entrance for the office and this is the main entrance for the residence so this is probably the driveway and the carport right here all right why don't we go and we finish things off back on the roof okay okay all right back through here don't have much to say right now just walking I have something to show you though actually now that we're over here so look at the glass over here and I'll show you the glass so each this is uh one layer of glass right here and then you have the plastic yeah yeah
