This is Alcoa?
Yeah.
Well, someone's off the wagon.
Thank you.
And I did this yesterday.
Permanent or temporary?
Permanent.
Oh, wow!
You win interview of the day, maybe of the year.
Go, Ryan! Go!
As long as it's Fernet, I'll do the film.
Yes.
No, it's not too pure.
Well, friends, as in all my vlogs, Conrad starts an adventure.
With Barry Simmons as my partner.
We're going to Rio de Janeiro.
It's crazy, man.
Tomorrow, in the interview, Ryan Ramos and Hugh Jackman,
I'm walking through the empty streets of Rio de Janeiro,
Alcalmar, Argentina, Catania, South America.
I really can't ask for more people.
I'm chocho.
It's the big day.
I'm going to Argentina.
I'm the champion of America.
I don't risk my life because I'm a responsible person,
but I have a couple of caipirinhas.
So what am I going to do to be okay for the note?
My friends from Alical.
A little bit of agüeña.
I'm going to do the powder.
The pill, because the headache right now is tremendous.
I didn't sleep much.
Friends, entering the Maracaná Stadium.
The note is this afternoon.
Now we're going to be entering the Maracaná,
with this Ryan Ramos and Hugh Jackman playing the fulbito.
Well, friends, there are Ryan Ramos, Hugh Jackman,
Emma and the director of the film going to play in that arc.
The penalty shoot-out starts.
Miss Emma Corrin.
She fell and said,
I'm going to die.
She put her in the groove.
Good for Emma.
The non-villain villain of this film.
I say villain and non-villain because what she said
in some notes I was studying,
is that she doesn't feel that her character is a villain.
Go Ryan!
Go!
Go Hugh!
I answered with a goal in the house.
I took off my shirt.
Time to kick from my friend Hugh Jackman.
And there it goes.
Goal!
Go Hugh!
I don't know if I'm going to let my friend kick.
What do you say?
That I'm going to kick one?
Show them how it's done.
With this one?
That one plays alone right now.
Yes, exactly.
That one plays alone.
For you, Ryan.
Look.
I want to say to the people of Disney
for playing with a drunk.
It's really very happy.
The team is well prepared.
The group is ready.
Let's go there to have a talk.
Thank you very much.
See you at the conference.
Well, friends.
Here we are.
Look at the shirt.
I got it from my friend Damian Acache.
I have the Argentine shirt.
I have my fernets here.
I have everything.
I'm screwed.
Friends of the non-nervousness total.
I'm going to interview my friends
Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds.
But first I'm going to talk to the director
John Levy and Emma Corrin,
who you know from The Crown.
The villain of this movie.
Let's go.
That's so good.
I'm really happy to be here.
My show is called Fernet con Grego.
I do interviews back home.
Four years I've been doing them.
Where is home?
In Buenos Aires.
So this is my first interview in English
and with Hollywood stars.
But I should stop talking about me
because it's about you guys.
I'm sorry.
I just wanted to introduce myself.
And I did this yesterday.
I love it.
Permanent or temporary?
Permanent.
Oh, wow.
You win.
I'm not going to lie.
When I ended up doing this,
it wasn't too much.
Wow.
Don't regret it, buddy.
It's a lot.
You win interview of the day.
Maybe of the year.
Yeah.
No, but it's a...
Lulens did it.
A friend of mine.
It's really detailed.
It's perfect.
Yeah, no kidding.
I'm very happy.
Fantastic.
Okay, so I'm going to start.
Thank you guys for this icebreaker.
You're really nice with me.
I really...
I'm very thankful.
I'm going with you, Sean.
For you, it's your debut in the MCU.
I'm a comedian.
I love your comedy movies,
and Deadpool goes around comedy.
How is it...
You're directing it,
you're writing it as well.
How is it to put in the percentages
of comedy or of the arc,
of the action?
How are you managing that?
That's a really good question.
Ryan and I,
we approached this,
we know that we can make it funny.
So we don't start with the funny.
Okay.
We start with the characters,
what are they looking for?
How are they changed by this journey?
Who is the villain?
What are the protagonists?
And what do they need?
We write that movie,
because we know we can make things funny.
Like, we do a lot of comedies.
We had done a lot of comedies before we met,
and then we made Free Guy,
and we thought, oh, this is easy.
This is like a brotherhood.
And so we focus on story first,
character first,
then comedy, then action.
Another question in this world.
Do you ever do a joke
that maybe ruins a moment,
and you have to take it out or something?
Do you have those situations?
Sure, man.
Nobody gets it right all the time,
every time.
Yeah, I mean, there were,
sometimes we would do jokes on set,
and we would all feel like,
huh, that wasn't as funny as we thought.
And we would stand there on set,
and we would go, okay,
what's something else?
What's something else?
And we would all just feed
the energy together.
What about this?
Okay, let's try that.
No, it was not.
What else?
And we would just try, try, try,
because one thing that I didn't know
when I was a new filmmaker,
but I know now,
you don't know what the movie is going to want.
You want options.
You want choices.
You want options,
because eventually the movie
will tell you what it wants,
and you want to be able
to go find different approaches,
not just 10 takes of the same thing.
Perfect.
Emma, I'm going with you.
I'm from Argentina.
Yes.
And you said a couple of years ago
that your grandmother is Argentine.
She is Argentine, yeah.
And that went crazy with everybody back home.
They love you.
Really?
Yeah, you have a lot of fandom back in Argentina.
I feel such an imposter
because I've never been there.
Why?
Because my grandma,
long story,
but they all ended up in South Africa,
so I grew up sort of
between South Africa and England,
but I just met all my family from Buenos Aires
like three weeks ago.
You just met your family from Buenos Aires?
Yeah, like three weeks ago.
They went where you were.
Yeah, they all came to London,
and my mom hosted this huge reunion in a park.
It was beautiful.
It was really beautiful.
And where are they from?
They're from Buenos Aires, do you know?
I don't know.
No, don't worry, don't worry.
But do you have the idea
of going sometime to Argentina?
Yeah, I want to go
when I have enough time
to do it properly
and visit all of them
and really get the sense
of what it is like to live there.
Perfect.
You were a Copa America champions
yesterday, Argentina.
Yeah, I did.
So you were a little bit champion.
Do you feel it that way?
I know.
Even though England lost last time.
You won the other one.
Okay, one and one.
I also come to you with a question.
I'm still a little bit nervous, sorry.
In his Twitter account,
in his ex account,
Ryan said that they were going
to Argentina maybe.
I know, I think he said something
and I got a lot of tweets,
a lot of social media saying,
when, when, when?
It's not going to be on this tour.
I don't know why Ryan said that
because he's usually very smart
with social media.
So I apologize to the Argentinians
for getting excited,
but the movie comes to Argentina soon.
Yeah, of course.
That's why we're doing this
because we're all going to go see it
in Buenos Aires and all of Argentina.
Emma, I heard you say about this
villain you're conforming
that it's not a villain,
that you don't see it that way,
that the character has its reasons
to be like that.
How are you preparing it
and how is your expectation for the film?
I think there are two things.
I think the first is that for me
to actually get a sense of who she was,
this character,
I needed to not see her as a villain.
I needed to figure out the motivations
for why she's doing what she's doing
and figure out how to empathize with her.
So in that sense,
I sort of part the villain side of it.
And then also Sean and Ryan
came to me very early on and said,
you know, we want Cassandra
to not be your typical villain.
We do want people to be moved by her
to some respect.
We want people to find her unpredictable.
Yeah, and then we sort of ended up
working her out as we went along.
Same thing we told you.
We had an idea of who Cassandra was.
Maybe Emma had an idea,
but it was while we were making the movie
that together we found who she was.
Okay, perfect.
And in the comic world,
she's really big.
I'm talking about Cassandra Norwell.
Did you go to see the comics?
She's the twin sister of Charles Xavier.
Did you maybe talk to Patrick?
I wish I talked to Patrick.
Me too.
He's awesome.
I should have done that.
But we did definitely.
We talked about and the movie definitely.
Honours her origin story.
Yes.
Her siblinghood with Charles
is an important part of who she is.
Perfect.
I studied.
I did well, okay.
You did really well.
It was a fantastic interview.
I'm going to give you a tip for the next one.
Just to save like 45 seconds,
you don't need to say I'm going to you.
Just go.
Okay?
I just saved you 40 seconds, bro.
I know.
I do long interviews.
I'm serious.
You're amazing.
Thank you.
Well done.
Nice to meet you.
Thank you very much.
Have a good rest of your day.
Great tat.
Great shirt.
Well done.
I'll get you that.
Please do.
I'm very nervous.
I'm very demanding.
And I want to enjoy it more than anything.
Because it's going to happen again.
It's a crucial moment.
I love you very much.
Thank you for making me hold on.
Because it's all these people.
This YouTube channel was the one that made it.
That I can be here today.
Well, friends.
To prepare the fernet for the boys.
I had a Coke Zero.
They just told me.
So hold on.
Well.
We're a minute away.
I'm going in there.
So I'm going to do the fernet.
I was waiting to do it right.
So it doesn't get ugly.
I'm afraid.
I'm afraid of the fernet.
But.
I'm going to take it up.
And I'm going to tell you how good it is.
You're going to like it.
This fernet is for the boys.
This is for the boys.
He's coming with a fernet.
That is a typical Argentinian drink.
Okay.
This is an Argentinian drink.
Okay.
Do you want to have one?
Thank you.
Do you want to take a photo first?
Yes.
This is.
I like it.
No.
This is actually Italian, but it's a more drink in Argentina that any part of the.
With LSD.
All right, let's take.
Let's take a trip together.
All right.
One, two, three.
Perfect.
Yeah.
Guys, this is my first interview in English.
Well, actually with Shawn in my life, I came here.
First interview in English?
Yeah, in my life.
Oh, this is nice.
It's really good.
You like it?
I just smelt it, but.
Perfect.
You like?
What is called?
Fernet.
Yeah.
It's like a bitter cola kind of thing, like a...
Oh, that's really good.
Yeah.
Oh, you like it?
People don't used to like it the first time they drink it.
It's like, it takes...
Oh, no, I like it.
Like an acquired taste.
It's really good.
Yeah, it's good.
You like this?
That's okay.
But I like this.
Perfect.
Will I have one of each for you?
That is...
Did you make that?
Yeah, a friend of mine back in Argentina.
I love it.
Sean asked me for one, and I will get one for him as well.
Oh, I love...
Don't get him anything.
No, I don't...
Oh, Jesus.
That's so awesome.
And I did this yesterday.
I don't know why.
Wait a second.
For real?
What?
For real.
I kind of...
Wait, that's a new tattoo?
Yesterday.
I did it when I went on the plane from Buenos Aires here.
Oh, my God.
Hugh has the same one on his lower back.
Yeah.
Right at the top there.
And it's tasteful as hell.
They told me.
I can't tell you where I have Wolverine.
Sorry.
No.
God, no.
Please don't.
It says, get the hell out of here.
Yeah.
It says...
Please leave.
What are you doing here?
I got my insides tattooed, which was really hard to do.
Yeah, you did, right?
They told me.
Guys, did you see Argentina yesterday?
I'm from Argentina.
Congratulations.
Thank you very much.
That's amazing.
You tweeted you were going, but you're not going.
I know.
I tweeted, who knows where we'll go next.
We're going here next.
Although, I do...
We just said it a few interviews ago.
Like, why don't they get to...
Why don't they send us to Argentina?
Yeah, they should.
You guys want to go there?
I've been there once before.
I loved it.
You've been there?
Yeah.
Buenos Aires.
It was good.
Wow.
It's already halfway there.
I know.
There's a lot of theater, a lot of musicals in Buenos Aires.
Beautiful food.
Good food.
Tango.
Tango, exactly.
The woman, I like that.
Beautiful woman.
It's true.
And what's this called?
This is called Fernet.
Fernet.
Yeah, Fernet.
Fernet.
Fernet, perfect.
There you go.
I like this a lot.
A new fragrance by Hugh Jackman.
Guys, first question, because if not, they're going to tell me, do questions, kid.
This is an interview.
I'm talking with my friends.
Sorry, I know.
That's like us too.
Can we give them an extra minute?
I'm so sorry.
Thank you.
Thank you very much.
I'm going with the first question.
I think the generation of our parents used to say that it wasn't a good idea to work
with friends because money and things and everything.
I think you guys are an example of a change of paradigm of that to all the people watching.
Would you tell them it's a good idea to work with friends?
A great idea.
Best idea.
Caution, I have a lot of friends who will try to make you not work.
Let's skip work.
Let's do this.
Make sure it's a friend who actually likes to work.
That's the combo, I think.
We love hanging out.
When we go, we hang out together and have fun.
But we all are hard workers and love to work.
We all felt the pressure of this and we pushed each other.
Also, our parents' generation, they were backstabbing sons of bitches.
My dad didn't have any friends.
No, my dad wouldn't have liked shit.
My dad killed his dad.
That's true.
That's insane.
Sorry, Mish.
They told me not to ask about that.
I know.
You have no idea the trouble I'm in here.
She has a list.
She's checking it twice.
As a comedian, I have a stand-up comedy back home.
A brave profession.
Deadpool is one of my favorite movies because of the comedy.
How is it to bring Wolverine, a more dark character in some way,
into a more comedy world?
Comedy doesn't work unless it's backstopped by real emotion and drama and darkness and all those things.
Wolverine, to me, was a natural fit.
But the only thing was that it was terrifying because we had to make sure that we honored that character
and showed the audience, truly showed them why he's in this movie.
Not just because, hey, Wolverine's back.
We have to have a strong why and a how.
And Hugh being so iconic and helping, he's basically created this character for the last 24 years,
was like the perfect kind of guide to write the script and get this right.
Have you ever done stand-up?
Have I ever done stand-up?
Yeah.
No.
Well, this is the thing.
He really could.
Totally.
I used to do the warm-up on my sitcom.
Oh, that's stand-up.
So I would go in the audience.
Stand-up on improv.
Yeah, a little bit, but not what you do.
What you do is, you know, Rob Delaney's stand-up.
You've got to be completely fearless to do what you do, to go out there and be willing to die.
Yes.
I can't believe I'm here and I'm talking with you guys.
You talk about timelines in Deadpool and Wolverine and the MCU in general.
In several, many timelines, a guy making a YouTube channel drinking an alcohol drink back home doesn't get to—
Oh, this is alcohol?
Yeah.
I wondered why.
Oh, right.
I never was looking more attractive.
Well, someone's off the wagon.
Thank you.
I guess you didn't know.
There he goes.
It's 23 years at IAA.
Yeah.
Now I'm Wolverine.
Please, don't tell me.
Yeah.
I'm sorry to—
Yeah.
We thought no one could kill the Wolverine.
I'm killing the Wolverine?
You did it.
With Barnett.
Yeah.
Oh, what's next?
Now you guys—
Come on.
You're back.
Salud.
Tango.
Salud.
You could really taste the cocaine.
You know?
I mean, you can't taste it because my tongue's numb, but—
But the good thing is in a test it doesn't pass, so you can drink it.
This is really good.
It's the best thing.
Maybe too good.
Yeah.
Oh, I love it.
It's my favorite drink.
I have Barnett and Red Bull.
There you go.
I have it on a tattoo.
I'm not joking.
This is amazing.
Fantastic.
So I have the two things right here.
I can't wait for you to meet your life partner.
I have a life partner on there as well.
That'll be me, probably.
Let's run away together.
Hey, we'll talk on Instagram later.
No, my question is—
Your second question.
Go ahead.
Your second question.
I was behind the whole thing.
I didn't do any questions.
My second question is that for real, in a lot of timelines, in probably none of them,
I should be here with two Hollywood stars.
South America, I think, is a continent of dreamers.
You know?
We have our crises and our problems and everything, but we dream and we go after it.
To your South American audience, what can you say about dreaming?
Oh, God.
Be bold.
Have fun while you dream.
Like, have fun and there is no limit.
Have fun and you can absolutely do anything you want.
I mean, look at me.
You can do anything you want.
Hugh's not dreaming.
He's nightmaring.
He's out here nightmaring.
No, South America, I mean, this is like where passion was born.
I mean, it truly is incredible.
It's like what—Deadpool aspires to be Wolverine because Wolverine matters and does things
that actually make sense in this world.
In the same way, Canada aspires to have just an ounce of the passion of South America.
Those guys really know how to live.
You do know how to live.
Yeah.
A lot of hugs.
People hug each other.
Hugging, dancing, drinking, eating, living.
Who needs work?
His entire life has just been flushed away.
Yeah, I'm just—this is amazing to watch.
It was a problem.
Doing this was the whole problem.
Salud.
It's for dreaming.
Thank you very much.
Can I do—no?
Just one more?
One more.
About the movie.
I didn't talk about the movie.
One more?
Sure.
All right.
About the movie.
We're going to see this frenemy friends situation.
A lot of people are expecting you guys in the MCU.
Apart from this movie, and I know you've already answered—you can't answer if you're going
to be in other movies, but the idea of meeting and being with the other characters of the
MCU universe, are you expecting that?
Not necessarily—
Well, you know, let me say this.
Deadpool and Wolverine is meant to be a complete experience.
It's not meant to be a commercial for another movie.
Okay, perfect.
I know that.
When an audience goes to see the film, we want them to go in, have that experience,
and leave that theater feeling like they've just had the greatest, most joyful, wonderful
two hours of their entire life.
Maybe they feel like they've thrown their entire life away to drinking this beverage
out of nowhere.
A similar sort of feeling of elation like that.
But I'll say that my character is a fan, ultimately.
I'm a fan—Deadpool's a fan of Wolverine and a fan of the MCU.
And that's a great place to write from and create from, because you can't make anything
good without enthusiasm and joy.
And that's kind of—even though it's subversive, and we do some pretty crazy stuff in this
amount of surprises in the movie, the one thing that I can promise people is joy and
a complete experience.
And I don't know what I'm going to do next, but I'm very particular.
As long as there's Frenette, I'll do the film.
No, he's not too pure.
He is going to go work on himself.
Don't water it down.
Don't need the ice.
No, no, no.
We're getting an air ambulance, and we're taking him home immediately.
That's a lot stronger.
Straight out of bed.
That's concentrated.
No, no.
He's not supposed to be drinking.
Yes, hike.
How far is Argentina?
From here.
Thank you, guys.
You make me very happy.
Thank you.
You are wonderful.
You're my favorite, weren't we?
No, no.
You can't say that.
By the way, it was such a great experience.
They laughed at us.
We started having fun.
They took the stove.
They took it all.
They made jokes.
I had drugged them.
I had cocaine.
Oh, God.
I can't believe it.
Ray is a great guy.
I'm going to eat even more.
I live in Brazil.
I can't believe this just happened.
I'm very grateful.
It's the first time in my life that something matters to me, regardless of the result.
If it goes viral or not, it doesn't matter.
What I just had fun with.
Cheers.
Love, Deadpool and Wolverine.
And Frenette with Oreo.
Thanks.
Amiguitos, we are arriving at the fan event of Deadpool and Wolverine.
Here in Rio de Janeiro.
We are going to see a footage of the film.
I'm going to be with the fans, who are all my fans.
I'm already relaxed.
I'm going to talk to them.
I'm excited.
I'm very excited.
And with confidence.
Today I invite you to go out to Barbie.
Barbie, if I invite you to go out, would you come with me?
Of course.
But where would you take me?
What would be the first date?
Do you know what's going on?
Yes.
I would find out.
I don't have the date right now.
But I would know what I would prefer.
I would take you to the best restaurant.
I don't eat eyes.
You don't eat eyes?
No, nothing that has eyes.
I'll start the videos then.
Oh, you asshole.
The real fan event.
Here are two guys.
I love it.
There is a cosplay contest here.
Luis Suárez.
Look at Lucho.
He went to the Copa América and came here.
Luis Suárez.
Caste Suárez.
You like them all.
Yes, exactly.
Let's go up.
Look at Punto Ares.
Very good.
Hug me.
I love it.
I like it a lot.
Are you kidding me?
He's going to **** me.
A Brazilian girl passed by the red carpet.
She was awesome.
I don't know what that has to do with the vlog.
But I wanted to share it with you.
Let's go there.
Line up.
Take a picture of me.
You have to line up.
All the people are here.
All the people.
Deadpool and Wolverine.
All the people.
Did you like the blonde?
All the people.
Enough with the blonde.
And from this cinema in Rio de Janeiro, with these stars in front of me,
this vlog ends.
I can't believe it was real.
Thanks to the people of Disney for trusting me.
Thank you for making me the glove.
One of the best trips of my life.
I hope you liked the note.
I love you.
You may need an alical.
You have to work and it can't seem like ...
Did you end up at a party without knowing how?
Did you win a challenge and toast with celebrities?
Clearly.
You need an alical.
A powerful analgesic for headache.
Plus an antacid for stomach discomfort.
Ideal for those days of hangover.
Alical.
See you tomorrow.
