HIGHLIGHTS： Southampton 0-3 Aston Villa ｜ Premier League

The plans for next season need to start being made, but for now they need to get some points and give these fans around St Mary's just something to look forward to. The Saints looking to get Archer in behind, and he's in! Archer, narrow angle, parry from Martinez. That's as close as Arsenal's come to scoring a good goal since he scored at Arsenal. Early cross from Walker-Peters, on to Archer at the back post, it's the side netting. Benner from Saints, goal kick Villa. Dark blue shirts, white shorts and blue socks, and then Anana will launch it from distance, and Ramsdale will make the parried save, and Walker-Peters needs to clear it under pressure from Rashford. Walker-Peters, he snuffed out of it, and Watkins has got it, it was avoidable, and that's going to be a penalty, and Bednarik slams the ground, he knows he got it wrong, and as soon as Saints left, gave it up. Why have we given the penalty away? Marco Asensio against Aaron Ramsdale, left-footed, saved by Ramsdale! What a moment that is for Saints, and he's jumped on by his defenders, especially Bednarik. They're not looking forward quick enough, the first long ball from... Oh, it's brilliant, and is that a goal? It is! Unbelievable play from Ollie Watkins, Tieleman's lifted it over the top, and the Villa fans go mad on the far side. And here comes Rodgers, they've turned Saints again, Marlon in the box, fires low! 2-0! And that will probably be it for Saints, and again, Villa do Saints by playing the ball forward early. All the things I was talking about, they haven't done that, Adam. Oh, Watkins lays it to Marlon, and then McGinn was fouled. That's a penalty. I mean, it's clumsy, and McGinn let it run past him, and 94th minute, Asensio, Ramsdale, take two. Goes the same way, and he saves it again, and McGinn scores on the follow-up. And that's so unlucky, and Ramsdale's furious, he's arguing with the referee, Villa celebrate the rebound.
