Day 1 of Bogota with Jovic, Maria, & Osorio | WTA Match Highlights.

Oh, nice quick thinking. This is really impressive. Oh, there was no coming back with that one. Another double fault for Alicia Parks. She hands the opener to Ivo Jovic. Disappointing opening set for Alicia Parks and certainly she will know that she can do better than that. She's not given the best account of herself so far today, but credit must go. Oh, that was struck by the double fault from Jovic and that hands the break to Parks. Finished off quickly, just a three-point rally. Parks now on the verge of a love hold. Oh, what an entertaining rally that was. Superb stuff. Oh, nicely done indeed. Soft hands up at the net. Oh, it's a superb point from Alicia Parks. A masterclass from Ivo Jovic, the 17-year-old Californian through to the second round. Well, it's a good proactive approach from Chloe Paque coming up to the net. Distinctive shots, the backhand slice. Again, that slice really effective. Oh, what an entertaining point that was. Paque working the angles, forcing. Well, Paque controlling things. Chloe Paque goes wide and Tatiana Maria wraps up a marathon match to seal her place in the second round. You can't play much better than that. Terrific serve on the line. She's broken early. Two-nil for Osorio. Overall record stands at 15 wins, just three defeats. We'll just get one more ball back, says the second seed. And there is a shame for Iguita Barraza. Fourth double fault handing Osorio. Excellent serve and beautiful little drop shot on the angle. Oh, that's such a shame. The closest Iguita Barraza has come to winning a game. A big roar is going to go up because Iguita Barraza has won her first game. Oh, yes. More determined. 62 FIFA World Cup. Knows how to be a champion. Two goods, a little bit of a mishit, I think, from Iguita Barraza. Match points. A nice quick outing for the defending champion. Potential banana skin. Excellent. Very routine. Loses just one game. That's a lucky loser. It's beautifully done. Nicely cut off at the net. Yes, she's made it. That's beautiful. You can attack the size backhand because you know the ball is going up. You just have to move through the volley. Don't let it come to you. Oh, that's brilliant. Oh, that one's just about made it. Look at the way the ball flew up after hitting the line. Oh, I love that play. What a point. How to play in clay courts. That's just so clever. Pushing around, go further and further back. Another drop shot does the damage. What a brilliant performance.
