A Productive Day In My Life + Spring Outfits

Being a fashion creator isn't just about wearing cool clothes. Boy, do I wish it were that easy. It's about planning, creating, and making sure everything flows. And that means having the right tools. This is the ASUS ZenBook A14. And today, I'm gonna show you how I utilize it to keep my workflow smooth. Also, for those of you guys that want to create fashion content, this is a video I wish I had when I first got started. So we're gonna start by picking out an outfit. I'm about to head to a coffee shop to get some work done. And the way I decide my fit is all based on the weather. So I can already tell you this is going to be a fairly warm fit. It's gonna be a little bit lighter as well, just because it's going to be a little bit more sunny. Now, before we get into breaking down this outfit, the reason why I'm going to the coffee lounge is so I can focus. Because I get distracted super easily because of her. Dog owners know what I'm talking about. Yeah, all the planning gets done at the coffee shop. You know, whether it be campaigns, fits, video ideas, scripting, and all that. All right, guys, now that the sun has risen up, let's talk about today's fit. The fit starts with some simple white leather sneakers. We have these cargo pants from Fried Rice NYC. These are the strap cargo, so it comes with extra straps. I tied it into a little sash. So anytime I walk or turn or all that, it just drapes, it flows. Just adds a nice little layer to the fit. Now, our white top is a button up. This is a new piece. I just came back from Hong Kong not too long ago. I got this after the conversion rate. I think it was around 200 bucks. It's basically like a traditional cheongsam, which is a Chinese style jacket. Got these knots instead of buttons. But it sort of resembles a denim jacket. So there's a lot of light blue stitching, dark blue stitching. So you get a nice little contrast. It makes this a little bit lighter of a piece, which is perfect for the upcoming spring weather. And one thing that I think is super slept on when it comes to fashion outfits, especially with a white button up, is rolling up the sleeves with a jacket. So something I keep in mind when it comes to buying jackets is if you can roll the sleeves with it. Most jackets, you can't do that unless it's very oversized and wide fits. Luckily, this jacket has two buttons at the cuff. So you can unbutton it right here and right here. So it's easier to roll. And you just roll it with the white sleeve. You get a nice contrast. You can show off the accessories, your forearms, any tattoos. And to top off the fits, because I got to do some commuting. I don't, I'm not going to be driving much in the city anymore. Now that I live in Chicago, we have my traveler's bag. This is just a regular camera bag. Holds a lot of my gear because I'm gonna be doing a lot of shooting. And because we are partnering with ASUS, this is what I'm packing to go to the shop to get some work done. And because I'm carrying so much heavy gear, the last thing I want to do is carry a heavy laptop. And this laptop is literally light as a feather. It weighs less than one kilogram. I can put it in between two fingers and it doesn't even hurt. And that is because this is constructed of Cera aluminum. And it's a breakthrough material that is built to last. Because it combines the properties of ceramic being scratch resistant. And aluminum being ultra light. Hence Cera aluminum. And it just comes in clutch whenever I'm commuting through the city. And also has a really nice feel. It kind of feels like a pebble. So let's head to the coffee shop. Get some work done. And for those of you guys wondering what my workflow is like. I use a mix of Google Calendar to plan out my day. And Milanote to map out everything regarding content. What I'm shooting, tasks, mood boards and all that. So as you can see for this next outfit I'm planning out. It's more of a Asian streetwear, Japanese streetwear type of fit. And we're going to try and shoot it at a very aesthetically pleasing location. Typically for me it's that brutalist type of architecture. Concrete walls and all that. And I'm usually here for a couple of hours. Just depends on what's on the agenda for the day. And I love the fact that this machine has an up to 32 hour battery life. So if I forget my charger or if there's no outlets or plugs around. I don't really have to worry. You can't really beat that. But the best part about this machine is that it comes with Microsoft CoPilot. And this really enhances my productivity. I wish I had this when I first got started. So this AI feature is built into the laptop. And I can use it to write some emails or generate ideas. I don't really follow through with the ideas that it gives me. But ideas have babies. So it gives me a lot of inspiration. But the coolest feature about this is that you can use it to summarize any page. So let's just say I'm doing some research on Hakama style pants. And there's a lot of articles on it. And I just want to get the gist of everything. So at the very top right you'll see the CoPilot icon. You can utilize it to summarize the page. And it just breaks it down super quick. And it just speeds up the pre-production process. There's so many other things that you can do with CoPilot. And I am glad that it is built into this laptop. So let's move on to the actual shoot. All right guys. So here's the next fit. Let me just break it down. These are a lot of pickups from Hong Kong as well. And some of my friends brands. We're still wearing that same white button up. And then this is a top piece from Harrison Wong that I got in Hong Kong. This is a piece from my boy ZZ out in Malaysia. Traject by Idol Idol or just Idol Idol. These are some boots from Joseph T. And then we just got a simple Uniqlo bag that's carrying the ASUS ZenBook A14. I literally don't feel it when I put it in this bag. This is just like another like daily commute type of bag. Going to a different office. Meeting up with someone. Have to get some work done. And yeah. So we're gonna shoot a lot of b-roll with the outfits. Because I have to incorporate it in another video. And as you can see we're out here in Chi-Town. A lot of good architecture out in Chicago. Good landscape. So I went with this more brutalist architecture. I feel like it really suits this fit. So yeah we're gonna shoot a lot of content. B-roll. Photo shoot. Let's get to work. All right so we just got done shooting. So we're back in my place. And you know I'm not a robot where I work all day long 24-7. That is not realistic. So I like to take breaks. And one of my favorite things to do is to shoot some pool. And I like to do this after I finish a task. So whenever we were doing the shoot we did two different things. We shot b-roll and we did a photo shoot. So we're sort of in that same mindset that whole time. So it's good to just be in that zone. But now that we're gonna switch tasks. You know I'm gonna be editing. Organizing footage and all that. I like to take a break in between. And one of my favorite things to do is shoot some pool. I will beat anybody at pool if you play less than 10 times. And I'm still learning how to shoot pool. But it's one of my favorite things to do. Mostly because of the conversations that you have with whoever you're playing with. So that's a little hack for you fellas. If you guys can try and batch all your similar tasks into one little session. It makes it a whole lot easier. But let's just say you're shooting some videos. If you have to set up shooting a video every single time. Rather than just shooting in bulk. It just makes it so much harder. And I'm not perfect. This is what I aim to do. But that's a little hack for you fellas. You know on Sundays when you do all your errands. All your tours and all that. You're just in that mindset. You know what I'm saying. And now we are at my favorite part of the day. That is editing photos. Now I'm just chilling at my place. Sometimes I like to go to the lounge area in my building. And just edit photos as well. And like I said earlier. This thing has an up to 32 hour battery life. It's still going throughout the day. I still don't need the charger. And you don't lose any power if it's not plugged in. And I especially need that when I'm doing photo editing. Editing videos and all that. So I'm gonna get to work. Enjoy the sunset. Get these photos taken care of. I hope you guys enjoyed this video.
